Bestial Wrath

Eeri

The very walls shook as my loud howl-scream echoed off of everywhere. My eyes were a completely black. Just complete, utter wrath. I could only think of one thing--kill, kill, kill, KILL!

I wasted no time. I was larger now then all of them, probably as large as a dragon. The darkfallen couldn't keep hold of my scruff when I shook like a dog and flung him off just seconds ago. He wasn't the main concern anyway. I turned my massive head to the other two darkfallen that held the prince. Opening my jaws wide, I let out a terrifying snarl just as the sword was brought down to Vlad's neck. It buried in but didn't cut enough to be fatal, for I leaped and literally tore Red's arm off with a snap of my jaws. I threw the dismembered limb into the air and chomped it, feeling the bone snap in my teeth and relishing as the cold blood streamed down my throat. I wanted more...MORE!

The red darkfallen's shrieks of pain and terror hit my ears. I felt a pang of empathy...but then, as my eyes fixed on Dreven, all remorse faded. He was losing blood fast due to these undead villains. I knew what I had to do. I turned my head and fixed my glowing eyes on Red. Slowly, my canid jaws stretched into a huge, evil grin. I stalked closer as he tried to stumble back. I saw pure fear in his eyes as his back hit the wall--he had nowhere left to go. And I have to admit, he looked pathetic with only one arm.

"Hey Red...how's it feel to be dogfood?" I asked in a low growl. His eyes widened as my jaws shot forward and latched onto his neck. I tossed my head back and forth, throwing him about like he was a dog toy. I felt my teeth sink in deeper and deeper, piercing through flesh, muscle, and finally bone. Black blood poured onto my face, matting my fur and blurring my vision. It made me feel sort of empowered, and as I opened my jaws to finally snap his neck in half, I let out a cruel laugh.

I sat down and licked the cold blood off of my face, panting a mix of saliva and plasma. Slowly, I turned to fix my stare on Black. He was frozen in shock, and slowly took a few steps back. Oh goody--a game of chase! I knew right as he whirled and ran for the door that he was doomed to die like the rest. My growl followed him as I let him sprint away from me. It was time to play with my prey...Melting into the shadows, I giggled and ran after him.

His breathing was fast, and as he ran he let out whimpers of terror. My whispers echoed of of the walls. "Oh my, your cries are music to my ears! Why not come out and play?" I giggled. Black yelled in alarm and skidded to a stop as he found himself in a small room of Icecrown Citadel. Clearly, he took a fatal wrong turn. I licked my lips, almost purring with the thought of sinking my teeth into his flesh and rending him into a pile of useless muscle and sinew.

"Please, spare me!" he begged as I solidified out of the shadows in the room. I tilted my head rather cutely, as if I didn't understand. My dark stare was locked on him as I licked a paw and panted with a small grin. The only thing that could be heard was his fevered breathing. I saw a glint of hope in his eyes as he took a few step backwards. I followed his movements and bent my head to his hand, as if asking to be petted. Black blinked and slowly outstretched his hand, placing it on my muzzle. I slowly grinned and said, "You should never pet a strange animal. They could...bite!"

With that, I flipped my head up and snapped my jaws, immediately severing his arm. I gave him no chance to scream, I merely lunged and snapped his body in half, letting the blood spill all over me. Soon enough, I was dripping with cold, black blood, satisfied at the carnage.

I entered the room again to see Blue passed out from the impact to the wall. I darted to Dreven. He was losing blood fast, and I needed to save him. I bent over him, however was interrupted by a sudden cold hand on my scruff. I was thrown against the wall, noticeably making a huge fox-shaped mark of black blood on the cold metal. Groaning, I sunk to the ground as cold, female laughter filled the room. Well, at least high on adrenaline, Wrath was still going strong.

"You really think you can defeat the Blood Queen? How dare you destroy my princes--for that, you'll die a long, painful death!" the vampire queen herself yelled. I heard bony wings creak as the queen flew toward me. Hands wrapped around my neck as I was lifted into the air. I choked and gagged, thrashing in her grasp. The queen squeezed so tightly that my vision began to blur. I heard a loud howl as my eyes began to bulge. Something impacted my captor so much that she shrieked and was slammed to the side. Her grasp loosened enough so that I could rip free. Her claw-like nails had left deep marks in my flesh, causing warm, red blood to flow down my neck. The Blood Queen snarled and got to her feet as I turned my head slightly to fix my eyes on my savior.

"Loki!" I gasped in a growl. The lightning worg dipped his head and returned my smile with his own toothy grin. He was gigantic and glowing red as well, which was perfect, because wrath was exactly what both of us needed right now. Together we flung ourselves at the boss and snapped her bones one by one. Knives sliced into my flesh, and hot white fire seared my fur. I didn't care--I pressed on and ripped apart everything I could. Finally, The Blood Queen was in pieces. Hunter pets in Azeroth appeared without being called sometimes, I supposed, when their owners were in great danger. Loki had saved my life, and for that I was grateful.

Dripping with black and red blood, I turned to Dreven. I began to shrink, and before I knew it I was back to my normal, human self. Except, I was full of wounds an dripping with blood. Wonderful. I limped over and bent over the dying darkfallen. Dreven coughed as his narrow eyes fixed on me.

"It's...too late to save me...Press on, I know you can do it...you're more powerful than even Arthas himself," he whispered. I shook my head and gave a soft smile.

"For one, you'r exaggerating. But really. I can't do it without you," I said simply. And I knew what I had to do. He'd tease me about this later, but his life was on the line here. I bent down and grabbed his head, leaning against him with my dripping neck. I saw his eyes go red with hunger, and felt fangs pierce my flesh. Yep, that cliche. I was willing to give my blood to save him.

Slowly, he drank, until he let go. He leaned away, almost fully healed, and stared down at me with eyes full of surprise. Now, I was the weakened one. I'd lost a lot of blood and was tired. I moved away and laid on the ground, breathing softly. Loki trotted over and licked my wounds, healing me slightly. Drev moved toward me and took me into his arms, staring into my eyes.

"Thank you..but why?" he asked quietly. I gave a soft smile and closed my eyes.

"Because. I told you I cared about you, didn't I? Plus, someone has to tell you proper Earth stuff since you seem so interested in where I'm from and are socially awkward as hell," I whispered. Then, my vision faded, and all went dark...

Dreven

I was in shock. As her blood ran down my throat, giving me life, I realized she was making the ultimate sacrifice. She very well knew I was capable of taking her life right there simply by drinking too much. But, she saved me anyway, and for that, I was grateful. Alright, perhaps I was being a bit of an asshole and could consider actually talking things out with her when this was all over. Not to mention, she was right--ever since I'd illusion'd myself into a human on Earth to explore, I found myself mighty curious.

It honestly didn't take much for me to heal to completely. What? Earth humans were delicious! Probably another reason why I kept returning to hunt there, of course.

So anyway, now she was passed out and in my arms. I looked down at her with an emotion I didn't know I had. Hearing a growl next to my ear, I looked over to see Loki staring at me warily. He knew I wouldn't harm her, but still wanted to be sure she was completely safe. He tossed his head at me, motioning to move aside. I obliged and watched him lick away the blood from her neck, arms, and legs. Green energy surrounded the wounds, slowly but surely closing them.

"That...human?...destroyed my mistress," came a voice behind me. I whirled, still kneeling on the ground, to see the darkfallen clad in blue staring down at me. I remembered that his name was Prince Valanar. I bared my fangs and let out a metallic his, swiftly getting to my feet. I was perfectly capable of ending him here and now--Eeri's blood had empowered me to the point of a hundred times as much strength and speed. Now, I was a force to be trifled with.

The other prince put up his hands as a sign of defeat, taking a step back. "I surrender, Dreven. I've no idea why you refuse to obey Arthas--but I know I can't win. Perhaps, however, I can avoid the fate of death if I aid you?" he asked in a quiet voice. His eyes were saddened--I realized that like me, he'd now broken control of Arthas and came to the realization that the Lich King needed to be stopped.

"Fine...I will spare you, Valanar. Know that if any harm comes to this hunter, you will be slain," I snarled. I refused to let Eeri be hurt anymore. Speaking of which, the huntress shuddered but didn't stir; she had a long way to go before she would be at full strength.

Prince Valanar stared down at her warily. "She's an otherworlder, that much is clear. I can scent it in her blood." Then, he fixed his glare upon me. "You're trifling with forces that you shouldn't be, you know. I've read the books too, but have never tried traveling. Let me guess. You have?"

"Yes," I admitted, letting out a sigh. "In her world, Azeroth is a video game. She obtained the powers and then some of her character or something. It's complicated." A whisper from my arms alerted me to the fact that she was awake again.

"Doesn't that mean you're extremely powerful therefore on Earth, even though video games don't exist here? Otherworlders seem to work that way," she muttered. I didn't have a chance to confirm--The four of us(That is, me, her, Valanar, and Loki) were suddenly on a huge, icy pillar. This was Arthas's throne. He must've used a powerful spell to summon us here. His icy eyes were set on us.

"Your time to join my forces once again has come. It's now no longer possible to allow you to remain alive," Arthas spat. He stood up, dragging his sword along as he walked. He raised it and pointed it at us. "I will enjoy causing a slow, painful death for each and every one of you..."

I knew one thing for sure--if he summoned us here and now, clearly we were a genuine threat. And it was time to show him just how dangerous we could be. Grinning slowly, my fangs flashed as I drew my sword. "Game on, Arthas.."
