Chapter Sixteen
I really, really love this chapter and hopefully you guys do too. :)

The door to the hotel room opened. Sabrina looked over and Chris was walking in. The sun must've eventually come out because he was wearing sunglasses. Other than that, his appearance remained the same. When he saw Sabrina, he smiled and took his sunglasses off. She muted the TV.
"Hey," He says, walking further into the room and setting his sunglasses down on the dresser.
"Hey." She raises an eyebrow. "I thought you were going to change."
He looks down at his clothes. "Oh, I did." Sabrina looks at him, confused. He smirks. "I changed shoes."
She rolls her eyes. "You moron..."
Chris chuckles. "I'm kidding. I got some workout clothes and brought them with me to the gym."
"Why didn't you just change here?" She asks.
"I'll have you know, I'm very proud of this outfit," He states.
"All your outfits look like that!" She exclaims, laughing.
"Hey!" He laughs. "That's only partially true. Anyway, after my workout I had to do some promotional stuff for Fozzy. Just a few autographs and pictures. I wanted to look sharp."
Before she could stop it, she snorted. She quickly brings a hand to her face and blushes. "Oops..."
Chris raises an eyebrow, keeping a straight face. "Uh..."
"Speak of this to no one."
"Mm-hmm..."
Hoping to change the subject, Sabrina looks at the time. "We need to pack. Hurry up and do it so we can go."
When they're almost done packing, someone knocks on the door. Sabrina was in the bathroom getting her things, so Chris answered it. It was Heath.
"Hey," Chris says, smirking. "Did you know – ?"
"Chris, shut up!" Sabrina yells from the bathroom.
"Sabrina snorted."
Chris laughs. Sabrina walks out of the bathroom and hits him with her crutch.
"Take it back!"
Heath holds back his laughter at Chris's shocked face.
"What?" Chris asks. "Never!"
"I told you not to tell anyone!" She says.
"So you're just going to continue to hit me until I take it back?" He asks.
"Yeah, that's the plan." She hits him again.
"Heath!" Chris whines.
"I'm on it," He says, rolling his eyes. He takes the crutch out of Sabrina's hands.
"Hey!" She protests. "I need that to stand!"
"I'm not giving it back until you promise to stop hitting Chris with it," Heath says, putting the crutch behind his back.
"I'm pretty sure this is bullying." Chris rolls his eyes, while Heath keeps a straight face. Sabrina glares at her brother and sighs. "Fine... I promise to stop hitting Chris with my crutch. Can I have it back now? It feels like I'm going to tip over."
Chris laughs as Heath hands her the crutch. Sabrina glares at her brother.
"I'm being laughed at now. I think I was right. This is bullying." Sabrina walks over to her bed and sits down, crossing her arms and frowning.
Chris rolls his eyes and looks at Heath. "So, what brings you here?"
"I came to say bye to Autumn."
"Ha!"
Chris and Heath look over at Sabrina, confused expressions on their faces.
"What?" Chris asks.
"He came to say bye to me, but not you!" She exclaims. "I'm his favorite."
"You're his sister..." He points out.
"My only sister," Heath adds.
"It doesn't change the fact that you didn't come to say bye to Chris," She argues.
"Sabrina?" Chris asks. "Did your parents not give you enough love as a child?"
Heath chuckles, while Sabrina glares at her boyfriend. "Not funny."
"I think he disagrees," Chris says, motioning toward Heath.
Sabrina silently glares at the men before saying, "Alright, Heath, you need to leave. We need to pack or else we'll be late. I don't want to miss our flight."
Heath stops laughing and his face settles into a smirk. "Okay, I'll leave. I'll call you later, Autumn."
"Bye, Heath!" She says, grinning.
Heath says a few words to Chris before leaving. When Chris turns around, he notices Sabrina still sitting on the bed, her arms crossed and a pout on her face.
He struggles to keep a straight face. "What's wrong?"
"You guys are bullies."
She continues talking, but Chris slowly stops listening. He absent-mindedly watches his girlfriend talk. He heard bits and pieces of what she was saying, things like "Be a STAR, Chris, not a bully," and "You and Heath are fucking morons." As she talked, her face slowly lost its pout and took on a more peaceful and happy look.
Her blonde hair was down today, going down her back. She hadn't straightened it that morning, Chris noticed, so it was naturally wavy. She was wearing a black sweater that only covered one of her shoulders, so her left shoulder was bare. It had a few freckles on it. Her leggings made her legs look longer than they normally did.
How did I get such an amazing girl? Chris thought to himself. Sure, she swore more in a day than he did in a month, but could you really judge someone based on that? He loved her personality, and her relationship with Heath, and how naturally beautiful she was, and how she didn't let rumors get to her, and so many more things that Chris couldn't think of in such a short amount of time.
He loved her, he realized. They'd only been dating for a few weeks, and were friends for only a little longer, but he knew he was in love with her. He'd never felt this way about anyone before, and he knew he was in love, but one thing remained.
How was he going to tell her?
He didn't want to scare her off. He knew she could dump his ass quicker than 18 seconds. He needed to say it when the time was right, or else she would be gone and neither of them would be happy.
Sabrina had stopped talking and was now staring at Chris, her brown eyes narrowed in confusion. He was just staring at her. Had he listened to a word she'd said? Sure, she was just ranting, but she wanted to know if he agreed, and if he didn't, why didn't he agree?
"Chris?"
He said nothing, just continued to stare at her. Sabrina noticed that they were closer than she thought, so she picked up her crutch and nudged him. He blinked a couple of times, and remembered where he was.
"Hey!" He exclaims.
Sabrina shrugs, smirking. "You were ignoring me. I had to do something."
"You didn't have to hit me with your crutch," He says.
"Hey, if you had been listening, I wouldn't have had to hit you with anything," She points out.
"Sorry," He says. "I got distracted."
"By what?" She asks, confused.
"You."
She frowns. "What?"
"While you were talking, I realized how beautiful you looked," He explains.
Sabrina blushes. "Oh..."
He smirks. "So am I off the hook?"
She rolls her eyes. "I'll get you one of these days, Jericho."
"Come on," He says. "Let's finish packing."

The plane ride from Seattle to Charleston was quiet. The trip from the airport to Sabrina's apartment building was even quieter.
They got out of the car, Chris grabbed their things (every time he did this, Sabrina would protest, but she'd eventually give in because she knew he was just trying to help), and they headed into the building. When they reached Sabrina's apartment, she unlocked the door and they walked in. The silence continued as they unpacked their things. When they were done, Chris sat down on the bed and began taking his shoes off.
"Are you okay?" Sabrina asks.
He stops and looks up, confused. "Yeah, why?"
"You've just been really quiet and it's bugging me," She says. "You're not normally so quiet. What's up?"
He shakes his head. "It's dumb."
"Nothing you say is dumb, Christopher." He rolls his eyes and cracks a smile. She moves across the room and sits down next to him. She rests her head on his shoulder. "What's wrong?"
He frowns again. "Why are you dating me?"
Sabrina lifts her head up and looks at him, confused. "What?"
"Why me? There are all kinds of guys you could be dating, but you chose me," He explains. "Why?"
"You're a hot rockstar-wrestler," She says. "You're every girl's dream!" When he didn't crack a smile, she frowned. "Do you want a list or something?" He just stared at her and she sighed. "Well, when I insult you, you don't get mad, you just insult me back. I also love it when you're sarcastic. I love how you can go from super serious to cracking jokes in a second. I love how before we even started dating and I broke my ankle, you were the first to volunteer to stay with me. I love when I get in the car and there's heavy metal playing, you don't even ask, you just switch it to country music. I love how when I was the biggest bitch on the face of the Earth, you still tried to be my friend. I love how when you found out about Drew, you went and beat him up for me."
"I didn't beat him up – "
"Hey, don't interrupt," She says. "I love how – and this one is going to sound creepy – our first kiss, like real not-for-TV kiss, was in a car on the side of the road, because that was a new one for me. I love your confidence. And I... Never mind..."
He frowns. "What?"
"I..." She bits her lip and hesitates, but he doesn't say anything. When she finally says something, it's a whisper. "I love you."
Chris's eyes widen for a second, and Sabrina suddenly wishes she hadn't said anything. She looks down, then moves to grab her crutches. Chris rests a hand on her arm and she turns around. She turns around and looks at him.
"I love you, too," He says. Sabrina's face grows shocked. It takes a second for her to realize that yes, her boyfriend does in fact love her back. A blush creeps to her cheeks and she looks back down. "Do I get a turn to list my favorite things about you?"
She rolls her eyes and smiles. "I guess."
"Well..." He stops and pretends to think. She glares at him and he laughs. "I love your smile. Your whole face just lights up whenever you smile. I love it when you don't wear makeup or straighten your hair because you're absolutely gorgeous. I love it when you blush, because it's adorable. This one is going to sound weird, but I loved it when you cried that day I supposedly beat up Drew because it showed that you have other feelings besides angry and sarcastic."
"Sarcastic isn't even an emotion!" She exclaims, laughing.
"Hey, don't interrupt," He mocks. She rolls her eyes. "I love when you're in the ring because you're just so focused and nothing can get in your way. I love it when you're listening to country music because you just seem so at peace. I love how loyal you are to the people who mean a lot to you. I love how open you are about your opinions. I love how sure of yourself you are. I love how the only person allowed to call you Autumn is your brother. I love how you think calling me Christopher bugs me. I love how beautiful you look in a dress. And I... Never mind..."
Sabrina frowns and glares at him. "Quit mocking me!"
Chris laughs. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Sabrina, I love you."
"I love you, too," She says, smiling.

"So...?"
Sabrina frowns. "So what?"
"When do we get to meet this boy?"
"Mom, you ask me this every time I call," Sabrina replies.
"Well, you never give me a definite answer," She says. "Oh, I know! Why don't you two come over to Pinesville this weekend? It'll be a great time to meet..."
"Chris," Sabrina says. "I'll have to ask, but I'm sure he'd love to come."
"Oh, good," She says. "I know your cousins were looking forward to you two coming last time, but you had that awards show to go to."
"I'm sorry," Sabrina says. "It was a last minute thing."
"Oh no, it's fine," Her mother says. "They're just excited to see you. Well, I've got to go. I'll talk to you later, dear."
"Bye, Mom."
Sabrina hangs up. She gets up and walks into the living room, where Chris is sitting on the couch and watching last night's episode of Pretty Little Liars. He was watching it with Sabrina before her mother called, but he didn't pause it. Sabrina thought that he secretly liked it.
"Hey," He says when she comes in. He picks up the remote and pauses the show.
"Hey," She says, sitting down next to him. "How do you feel about meeting my family this weekend?"
"Yeah, absolutely," He says. "I was looking forward to meeting them before we had to go to the Slammys. It sounds like fun."
"Good, because my mom really wants to meet you," Sabrina says. "Half of my family already loves you anyway, so it's okay." Chris glances from her to the TV. She laughs. "Really?"
"Well, I mean... Don't you want to know what happened to Hanna?" He asks.
She rolls her eyes and sits down next to him. "You're lucky I love you, you moron."
