The first couple of classes rolled by quickly with this only being the first day. I had a couple hours for a break before heading to my next class for today. I sat under a tree in the courtyard with Ten's head rested in my lap. I ran my hand through his hair while he rested his eyes.

"You both are the definition of sappy," Jisoo said as she sat down next to me holding a bunch of snacks in her hands. Gina sat down after her, along with Doyoung and Jaehyun. It seems that they all were free for this time.

"Way to ruin our alone time, guys," I chuckled. Ten smiled, but remained in his spot.

"Oh come on," Jisoo went on, "you know you love us all."

I met Jisoo first out of this college group of friends, minus Ten, Haechan, and Mark. It was my first night in my first year. It was late and I was leaving my dorm to go get water from a vending machine. When I got to the main building across from the dorms, I saw a figuring running by, a trail something dropping behind her. She cursed and started to backtrack to pick up the items.

I laughed and motioned to the small bags. "How much money did you have to get all of these snacks?" She always seemed to have food on her.

"I practically bought out the machine. I'm Jisoo, by the way."

"I'm Johnny. Do you need help with all of these?"

"Could you help carry them back to my dorm?"

"Only if I can keep something in return."

Over the course of that first year, I became very close to her.

Jisoo sighed and leaned against the same tree trunk I was against. "I'm glad I have a gay best friend. Though, Ten is much cooler. Bottoms are always more fun to hang out with."

"Jisoo!" I burst into laughter. "I can't believe you sometimes."

The others also started to laugh. Even Ten. "Is this usually how your group is?" Gina asked.

"Yes, it is," Ten confirmed.

Chanmi's P.O.V

Okay, I have to remember to organize my history binder and notes when I get back to my dorm. Start reading through our literature assignment. Did I remember my planner so I can write it down? What about—

"Chanmi!" Chunja called out my name. Her hand waved in front of my face. I flinched and looked at her, readjusting my glasses. "You zoned out," she told me.

Jungwoo sat on the other side of Chunja, giving me a concerned stare.

"Sorry," I apologized to them in a small voice and let out a short laugh. "I was just thinking about what I need to do."

"You worry too much," Chunja told me. "You're always so... not chill. Maybe you should loosen up?"

I quickly shook my head. "If I let my guard down, my grades might slip and—"

Chunja shushed me before I could continue. "You're going to give yourself acne with all the stress you're creating." Her eyebrows suddenly lowered as she leaned closer. "Is that a gray hair I see?" Chunja joked.

I gave her a light shove. "Be quiet. I'll be fine as long as I stay organized."

"I don't think I've ever seen you actually chill in these couple of years I've known you," Jungwoo commented. "Even at Johnny and Ten's dorm, you mentioned how you need to start sleeping earlier so you aren't tired in your classes. You're always like... eight steps ahead of everything."

"I have to be prepared."

"Just go with the flow for once in your life." Chunja smiled reassuringly. "Trust me, you need a break."

The teacher entered the room and carefully closed the door behind her. "Good day, class," she started in a cheery voice. I looked up to see her dressed in a flamboyant outfit and bright make-up. Her hair was tied up in a messy, yet neat bun.

"I am your photography teacher, Mrs. Kang. I'm glad to see all of your bright and happy faces this morning!" She clasped her hands together while putting on a bright smile. "I'm going to go ahead and assign your first assignment just to get your gears turning and thinking about what you are going to capture in your wonderful cameras. I see everyone brought their own, which is exactly what was expected."

Mrs. Kang spun around to start writing bullet points on the board for the assignment as she also explained out loud. "Your first assignment is called 'The Beauty in Nature' and you will be snapping a picture of something outside that has to do with, well, nature. Now, this is only a beginning assignment so I can see how well you all do on your own. Have the picture by class tomorrow so we can edit them, then print. I will be there to give you tips on how to work on your photography for the next assignments. I will only grade according to effort, not perfection."

"Seems easy enough," Jungwoo said under his breath as he inspected his camera. "We should all go out and take them together later."

"Uh, actually I'll probably be writing in planner and organizing all my notes and papers from this first day after I finish my classes," I told him.

"No, you will not," Chunja told me. "Us three are going to walk around this evening and take pictures of the outdoors whether you like it or not. Plus, when do you expect to get this assignment done if you're going to be stuck in your dorm or classes all day?"

"I already planned this while she was talking. On my way to the other building across the courtyard, I was going to take a picture of a flower that I'll be passing on my way and call it my assignment."

"Nope, I'm not allowing this." Chunja crossed her arms and turned to me. "We are going out, all three of us, to explore outside and clear our stressed minds while taking pictures of the pretty plants. We're going to have a chill evening, okay?"

I bit the inside of my cheek and adjusted my glasses before letting out a long sigh. "Fine. I'll go with you guys to have a chill evening."
