Chapter 26: When Rain Falls

"Hello, Jimin." Spoke Mr. Yoshida. His eyes locked onto Jimin with determination as he watched Jimin bow before him. "You took long." Jimin wasn't focused the whole time the man spoke. He was distracted by the way he looked at him, the way the scary atmosphere still grew cold; matching Jungkook's as well as his scary demeanor. "Let's talk."

"Of course. Sorry for the wait." Jimin replied and avoided eye contact. Whoever this man tried to be, Jimin was more nervous than calm. "It's such an honor to finally meet you." Jimin added and walked forward before sitting on the couch across from Mr. Yoshida. Everything the man did was familiar. The way he looked, the way he smiled, and stood. However, Jimin has never seen the man in his life before and that's what made Jimin worried. "You look familiar… Did I see you at the club one night?" Asked the younger as Taehyung stood in complete silence like a statue.

"Perhaps…" Spoke the man carefully as he snapped his fingers and signalled Taehyung to leave the room. "But I do remember seeing you that night." Mr. Yoshida continued and placed his hands in his pocket before making his way to Jimin and standing before him. Displaying such a dominant aura that Jimin refused completely. "Let me look at you…" With the sound of those words weighing in on Jimin, it left the younger gulping and longing to run off from how disturbing this felt deep down.

"Don't look at me like that." Jimin suddenly spoke out and made the man tilt his head. "Don't try to stand in front of me and speak in such a voice… Sit down and talk to me in the way you'd talk to anyone else. Whatever you have to say, I'll listen like that. But not like this." Jimin told the older off as Mr. Yoshida's smile fell into a devious smirk.

"Noted…" Mr. Yoshida added before turning to sit next to Jimin, but keeping his distance. The man folded one leg over the other and extended one arm out to Jimin. Nearly wanting to put his arm around him in seconds; but, Jimin was too far away to do so. "Jimin… Talk to me about yourself…"

"Call me Mr. Park, please. Let's keep this professional."

"Fierce… I like that. Alright, Mr. Park. Would you like me to talk to you about myself? I've learned a lot from you and I think it's only fair if I share a few things about myself." Mr. Yoshida spoke. Each time the man opened his mouth to say a word, Jimin looked away and avoided making direct eye contact. Only now, something about the man left Jimin to despise the older for no reason. It was just the red flag in his head going off just like the way Jungkook did. Making the feeling grow similar.

"Go ahead." Jimin uttered with all had and continued to look away. Just then he felt the man move in closer and slowly point his head onto his. Mr. Yoshida guided his fingers along the underside of Jimin's chin before pointing his head to his in seconds. Making Jimin look with discomfort.

"You look scared. Do I scare you, Jimin?" Whispered Mr. Yoshida. Staring at Jimin in his eyes since he was sitting close enough and pointing his head to his. Instantly, Jimin slapped the man's hand away. Not wanting to be taken lightly. He stood up and walked forward before looking back, and letting him talk once they had distance between each other.

"Keep your hands to yourself." Jimin demanded. Folding his arms to see the usual smirk appear over the man's face before he leaned back and stared at Jimin longer. "Talk."

"Alright… First things first, my name is Seung-Woo Yoshida. I was born in Seoul, raised in Busan, and I am twenty-nine years old. I may not look like it, but this is all true. I look young for my age, don't I?" Seung-Woo claimed as he smiled at Jimin. "This company was passed down to me from my mother… It's just starting off and I am building it up. We're new to this and I decided to have a business that tackles clothing, fragrances… Everything in those categories of course." The man introduced himself, but it wasn't enough to make Jimin feel any safer. "I spend most of my time traveling and I love meeting new people. Don't you?"

"I guess…" Jimin answered and walked forward, walking to another couch set across the room. This left Mr. Yoshida to glide his gaze down Jimin's body and down to his rear before he turned around to sit. "Why are you here? We already made our deal…"

"We did… But I guess I never got the chance to meet you personally." Mr. Yoshida continued as Jimin scoffed and looked away. "You are going to model for us, right?" Inquired the older businessman as Jimin lightly nodded his head. "Interesting… I have the day scheduled a month from now. Is that okay? Would you like that?"

"Anything is fine…" Jimin answered. Silence filled the room after as Seung-Woo had too look around the room to think of what to say to Jimin. However, he would hold back and just stare at Jimin longer. "Oh God… what's wrong with this man? He's staring at me and he won't stop!" Jimin uttered to himself and cleared his throat.

"Would you like to go out for coffee now? I think we should talk more. We'll be great friends." Jimin had to admit it. The man's persistence was charming and it left Jimin ignoring the fact that he was nervous at times. But something never seemed to click with this man. Along with Mr. Yoshida, even Jungkook carried this aura as well. Jungkook was always rumored as an evil man who had his right hand over all of Seoul. But Jimin never saw that side of him. At least not yet. On the other hand, he still couldn't tell what made everyone assume that. There was never a positive comment behind Jungkook's name. Could it be that he alone lived a secret life from the world? Jimin just couldn't tell.

Similar signs fell onto Mr. Yoshida. The older was off, yet, everyone adored him. Even Jimin's father. There was never a negative thing behind the man's name and that alone could have been the reason why Mr. Park chose to have Jimin meet with Seung-Woo. Wanting Jimin to have a future with a rich man like this.

"Coffee… I don't think I can. I have to be somewhere later on." Jimin refused as he heard silence fill the room after. "Maybe another time?"

"It's just coffee, Jimin. Not marriage." Answered the business man. Just as Jimin just hoped to turn the man down once more, he looked off to the side where his father stood at the balcony of the stairs before peering down at his son. Giving him a face to signal him to accept. "I'll ask again… Would you like to go out for coffee now?" Seung-Woo asked into the same and soft tone once more.

"Yes… Let's go now…" It felt like Jimin was held back against his own will. He had no choice and he felt like his father's puppet. Doing everything underneath Mr. Park's commands. Jimin took one glance up at the stairs once more where his father looked down at the two. Giving a stare like the two were already a couple that had his blessings. Jimin feared having Jungkook find him out in a date at the coffee shop; knowing well that Jungkook was an easily jealous boy. Jimin just couldn't imagine what his boyfriend would do to Mr. Yoshida.

"Hello, Mr. Park! I will be taking your son out to get some coffee and talk a little more. Will that be okay?" Seung-Woo requested and the older father only replied with the biggest smile on his face, along with a nod. Leaving Jimin to sigh and look away. Longing to have his father reject for him. "Thank you so much!" Seung-Woo answered happily and turned to Jimin. "Come with me, Mr. Park. Taehyung, I'll come back for you later."

"Understood…" Taehyung replied and kept his eyes on Jimin. Almost as if he wanted to tell him many things but was silenced with every gaze he exchanged with his boss. Jimin walked away with Mr. Yoshida as Jimin looked back. Desperately giving his father a face just so he could stay. Alas, he had no luck.

Eventually, the two sat in the back of a limo waiting for them outside the house. Shivers ran down Jimin's spine each time Mr. Yoshida would look at him and the man only feared having Jungkook spot them in public. Jimin almost wanted to cry just knowing that his father sent him off with a man that just accepted the deal to collaborate. "I hate this job… what is my purpose to them now?" Jimin hissed in his mind and looked away. Making it obvious that he wasn't interested in Mr. Yoshida.

"Jimin… Are you alright?" Asked Seung-Woo as he leaned in; moving his body more closer to look Jimin in the eyes and gain his attention. "Jimin… You look upset… Am I making you upse-"

"No… It's my father." Jimin answered as the man tilted his head carefully and held his hand back from caressing Jimin's shoulder for comfort. "Listen, I have someone already… but my father is always trying to control my life and send me off to someone I don't want." Jimin confessed as he hugged himself. "I have a lovely boyfriend and I think I should mention that before anything… He's my world and… I would hate it if he sees me with anyone else. My Jun- I mean.. My boyfriend gets really jealous…" Jimin hesitated to say who his boyfriend was just to keep his identity a secret.

         "Jealous… What's his name?"

"I-I… " Jimin whispered as he looked down and cleared his throat. "Why are you asking?"

"Just to know it. Besides, Jimin you don't have to feel that way. Coffee won't hurt anyone, will it? If your boyfriend has an issue with it, he can talk to me about it. Honestly… I hate it when there's that one person in every relationship that gets upset over everything. This coffee 'date' isn't wrong if you let it be." Seung-Woo claimed and leaned back against the leather seats of the limo. Just then, rain fell from the sky and began to beat against the glass. This left Jimin's eyes to widen as he looked at his phone to find the address to the base. This was his first time to lead a gang all for Jungkook and he just needed to pull through for the good of the poor. Yet, it always felt odd that they needed to rob in order to give to the good.

"I… I can't do this… I have to be somewhere, Mr. Yoshida." Jimin begged the man and turned his body to Seung-Woo. "Drop me off here… I need to go somewhere!" Jimin continued. Seung-Woo replied in silence before pushing a button to let the driver know when to stop. In seconds, the limousine stopped and Jimin was able to scoot over to the door. It was odd how the man urged Jimin for a date and coffee, yet he didn't hesitate to let Jimin go… Jimin stepped out of the limo and felt as if he could breathe again. He smiled once more just knowing about his mission ahead before calling Jungkook on the phone. Longing to hear Jungkook's voice and let him know that he was on his way.

Yet, the limousine didn't take off. Mr. Yoshida watched Jimin run off with the phone over his ear while the rain began to pour. Seung-Woo rolled up the window to the limo before a smile appeared over his own face and leaned back against the seat. "Oh Jimin, where are you going when it begins to pour? I could be right about this..." Asked Seung-Woo before he snapped his fingers to get his driver's attention so suddenly. "Driver, follow him. But keep it low, I just want to see where he wanders off to when it rains."
