Chapter 24: The First Mission

As soon as Taehyung left, Jimin felt as if someone was watching him from afar. Jimin stood at the doorway and looked around before stepping back and closing the door after. In seconds, his phone began to ring with Jungkook calling him at that very second. "Hello?" Jimin answered so suddenly and was welcomed to his boyfriend's voice.

"How was your date?" Jungkook asked as Jimin took a moment before opening the door and looking outside in seconds. "Darling?"

"I'll kick your ass, where are you?" Jimin asked as he walked out of his porch and looked down the street to see a car parked. With that, Jungkook began to chuckle as he switched on his headlights and drove down the street to meet with Jimin just outside his home. "You idiot…" Jimin whispered before hanging up and stepping out of his lawn to see Jungkook in the car. Jimin waited for Jungkook to unlock the door to the driver's seat before crawling in. As soon as Jungkook unlocked the door, Jimin opened it and gave him a stare.

"Still wanna kick my ass, Jimin?" Jungkook whispered and rose his free hand over Jimin's face. Wearing nothing but his black slacks, coat hanging over his shoulders, and his black socks hiding underneath his white slides.

"You creep… I can't leave you alone for more than a second or else you'll find me and watch over me!" Jimin giggled. Just after, he shoved Jungkook and let out a giggle once he felt his lover hold onto his hand and pull him into a sudden hug. "Let me go!~ Oh Jungkook, you're such a stalker. Possessive and jealous~" Jimin giggled and turned his head to kiss Jungkook's lips. "Why are you watching over me, hm? What do you want from me?" Jimin asked into a whisper as Jungkook cupped Jimin's face with his free hand.

"I came to check up on you. I was thinking a little too much when I didn't have you close to me so, I decided to come and see you. But, I saw that a man you had the meeting with… Just left your house only an hour later… How long does it take to sign some papers, Jimin?"

"Oh don't even dare!" Jimin giggled and managed to crawl over Jungkook's lap and close the door shut after. "Don't think like that, Jungkookie~ you're all I want." Whispered the man as he locked hands onto his. "I was doing business and signed papers with "Shooting Star." Do you know anything about that company, Jungkook?" Jimin wondered as Jungkook then shook his head and looked away. "Nothing? They are a business and you should know about it… You don't keep in check with all the competitors?" Asked Jimin. But, Jungkook had no idea whatsoever.

"What about them?" Questioned the young man, raising his hand over Jimin's shoulders to pull close, and hold his chin into his hand. "Is there something wrong?"

"I don't know… It's creepy that even another man in a company wanted to invest so much time on me if he only saw me once. I think it was just a quick glance or more… I don't remember talking to anyone but you the night we met and only now, another boss of a company takes too much time on me. I knew why you did it, but I'll never know what truly made him step forward for me." Jimin told Jungkook as the younger slowly pulled his hold away from Jimin's chin to look at his swan longer. "Then… The interview was more frightening; the representative wouldn't go until he knew more about me and it made me a little worried. He also kept saying things like 'Mr. Yoshida forgives you,' 'Mr. Yoshida is pleased.' It was weird to me…"

"Mr. Yoshida… What could he want with you?"

"I wish I knew. I also… decided to model for our campaign for our collaboration. I even thought of styles to go with it-"

"Wait a second… You're telling me that you are worried about this man, then you go to model for the campaign?" Jungkook asked and began to chuckle. "I don't understand…"

"This was before his representative grew off and it began to bother me! But I am going to model for the campaign… I have a strong feeling that he will be there too, so will you come with me?" Asked Jimin into a desperate beg while he laid over Jungkook's face and rose his lips onto his. "Please…" The man begged and kissed Jungkook's lips. "Please, Master… Don't leave me alone…"

"Fine. I'll see what I can do, alright? I just hope it doesn't fall on an office day. Besides, I wanted to talk to you about our missions… And tomorrow, one will take place. However, I'm not allowed on a bike after what you did. So, I want you to lead them and I'll teach you how. If you can't ride a motorcycle, I will tell someone to ride with you so you will be carried. The mission will take place as soon as it rains. It will be a company bank you will rob from."

"So we're robbing for good… What did the company's bank do?"

"The one who runs that company is a mean individual. They cause pain to their workers and abuse. No one says a thing about it, So we will rob them and then expose them for the abuse they caused towards others. It seems as if the boss only hurts those who don't get so much income. They think they are helpless so they don't do anything. They need the job either way." Jungkook mentioned and gave Jimin a peck on the forehead gently. "My Swan will conduct the first mission. I couldn't let this one slip me by, so you're going to do it. Remember, don't let this get too stuck into your head. You take action once it rains. The rain is your timer and focus."

Jimin seemed worried. He feared leading the gang all on his own. He wanted to rush and tell Jungkook that he had to do it himself, but the younger was in bandages. Jimin had no other choice since this meant so much to Jeon Jungkook. "I'll… I'll accept. I wasn't trained whatsoever… So, how will I know? Will I learn how to do things right?" Jimin questioned and pressed the side of his head against Jungkook's chest.

"You'll talk to one of my best man in there. He'll be the one to break things down to you. It's really easy and I want you to follow his instructions. I planned it and set everything for you. Just so you could carry it out." Jungkook explained. Jimin had to walk to an address given to him by Jungkook and meet a new face just to learn more. It was a lot of work, but Jimin had this coming as soon as he agreed to join his boyfriend in the gang. Along with that, there was no need of a gang initiation since Jungkook accepted Jimin already for being his Swan in the gang, so there was no need of a harsh trial. The only test was if Jimin could actually do the mission by tomorrow through the rain.

"This is scary… What if I get caught?" Jimin whispered as Jungkook began to chuckle.

"You won't get caught. Anyway, I'll just leave you with this message… Don't let the leadership get too into your head. You're going to conduct your first mission. Don't think too much about it. Alright? Jimin… I don't know what I'd do if you go crazy about this mission. Don't let it in your head and don't rely too much on it. If only you knew how many other members we had to release because we let them lead one mission. It's crazy that too much power could make someone insane." Jungkook warned Jimin about the use of power. He didn't want Jimin to change at all since gaining power like this, was enough to seep through his mind. "But you won't get just one mission. You'll lead a lot since your prince is still recovering."

"I understand. So, what about you…? You were about to use this power for bad. You told me you wanted to find that man who killed your brother… and give him a taste of his own medicine. Jungk-"

"This is different, okay?!" Jungkook declared. Making Jimin flinch and look down so suddenly. "I… I had a reason to find him and tell him off… He took my brother away from me and all I could do was stare at him."

"Jungkook… But killing is too far and our promise…. You won't break it ri-"

"Promise… Ah I can't focus when I remember that horrible night. He came around the corner with that steel bat I carry. He then looked at my brother, said no words, and began to beat him up with it. He didn't want anything else but just to kill and before I could do anything, I was held back to watch! It was traumatic and I didn't think I'd ever grow out of the thought. At times… I would close my eyes and still see it replay over and over again in my head… it's killing me. Those thoughts have haunted me for many years. I just can't move on..." Jungkook told Jimin once more. Explaining to him how he felt deep down.

"People move on in different ways… But doing the same would leave you in pain either way. You aren't the type to kill and walk it off like it was nothing. You have a heart and you won't be strong enough to handle that. You don't have a strong mind like that. Jungkook, you're gentle… Soft and kind… There's no way you could ever kill and act like it won't bother you. Turn him in and you'll be fine just knowing you will have justice. He'll go to jail for a long time." Jungkook listened to Jimin and only continued to deny it completely. "Jungkook…?"

"So… You think I don't have the guts, do you? Is that it? I'm just not strong enough. You're supposed to support me on every decision. No matter how wrong I am-"

"So killing is right, Jungkook?" Jimin asked and sat up over Jungkook's lap and cupped his face to look at him. "Look at me… Why when I bring this up, you don't want to look at me? We already discussed this! You promised me… You promised me you won't kill and now you're second thinking? Please tell me this is just a thought..."

"You brought this up..." Whispered Jungkook. Looking at Jimin again. "I don't want to talk about this..."

Jimin stared at Jungkook longer and felt his other hand release him altogether. Jimin knew he bothered Jungkook just by telling him the truth; making Jungkook grow upset as he looked down and let out a scoff. Avoiding eye contact with his lover. That left Jimin to reach out to the door handle and push the door open seconds after. "I'll see you tomorrow…" Jimin whispered as he moved himself off of Jungkook completely. The older then stood onto the ground and before he could walk away, Jungkook opened his mouth to say something, but he only looked away and dropped his hand onto the steering wheel. Not wanting to fight anymore.

          "Jimin…"

"One promise. That's all I hoped for but you talk as if you forgot about it. It's like you're secretly planning it out in your head. Is that what you're doing?" Jimin asked as he stood on the sidewalk to speak to Jungkook. "Even if I brought it up first… you always have to stick by our promise. No matter the pain. We've talked about this and it still hurts me you still think like this after we promised." Told the man as Jungkook turned his body to face Jimin. Grabbing him by the hand and pulling him closer slowly. "At times… It scares me. These thoughts of yours aren't healthy. No wonder they still haunt you… No wonder you second think our promise." Jimin continued and was pulled into Jungkook's arms. "I don't want you to be like this… I want my Jungkook…" Jimin begged into the hug as he rested his chin over his boyfriend's shoulder. "I-I want my Jungkook…"

"I am your Jungkook… I just… I just think a little too much… that's all." Jungkook assured Jimin. Hugging the man close with only one hand wrapped around his body. "I'll take you to my place. We still need to discuss the mission for tomorrow, you also need plenty of rest. Oh, and don't worry about what I said… A promise is a promise, right? I'll remember that, My Swan. No matter what."
