Chapter 2: A Devilish Prince

As Jimin kept his hands fixed onto the black and elegant letter, he inspected the number six written in the fine gold ink; in which, wasn't actual gold in Jimin's eyes. The young man laid on his bed and smiled as he continued to think of the nightclub he had to attend on Friday. “Father might tease me when I get home late… Calling me lazy and unsuccessful. I graduated college, what does he want from me?” Jimin whispered to himself and picked up a white remote to switch on the red lights to his room. Just above the ceiling light, was a Bluetooth speaker where he could play any song he wanted as if this was his own club as well. “That old man loves to tease me… and bother me..”

As Jimin laid over the bed to set the letter over his own eyes, he was suddenly interrupted with the sound of his bedroom door swinging open so briskly. This left Jimin to pull the letter over his eyes, down to gaze at the doorway where his younger brother stood; Park Jihyun. Park Jihyun was the perfect son in his father's eyes and as well as his mother. He still attended college and he went after the goal of sitting at his father's office chair as if it was a throne. Park Jihyun was a tall, young, and an intelligent student that made himself look like an upgrade compared to Jimin in academics. There the boy stood with his red, turtleneck sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers as his strands of hair were never dyed to keep a more professional style. Everything Jimin had, Jihyun didn't and that was so he could be taken seriously.

Jimin had piercings in a few places; his ears, his nipples, he had his hair dyed in many shades of colors and now it was pink. The man went clubbing almost every friday, had many relationships before, but Jihyun did not. The younger brother chose to date no one and focus on his work, stayed home to study instead of partying every friday compared to Jimin. The two brothers were extremely different.

“Get out…” Jimin whispered and gawked at his younger brother who invaded his space.

“Happy birthday, Jimin! I'm not going anywhere, father told me to give you a job as a gift and I think I could hook you up to one. How do you feel about being an accountant? Secretary?” Jihyun asked his brother and watched Jimin groan and turn his head away. “Come on… we only want to help! Very soon, you'll have to support a family of your own, Jimin.”

“I don't want to stress about anything yet! I want to live the youth I didn't have before. I was so hooked up on the fact that I had to go to college and study hard, what now? I don't want to focus on that yet…” Jimin found himself confessing his issues to his younger brother and this left Jihyun with his left brow raised.

“Life isn't easy, big brother. You need to work hard to get that lifestyle. Freedom is given to you when you're in diapers and the only way you can get it back, is to buy it this time.” Jihyun stated and that's when the young man dropped his gaze onto the letter Jimin held. “What's that?”

“Invitation… For me! Don't get any ideas.”

“Let me see it or else you're lying. I want proof!” Uttered the younger as Jimin finally sighed and handed the letter over to his nosy brother. By there, Jihyun's eyes blinked and held out his phone to shine the flashlight over the letter to read it. Not really liking the red filtered light in Jimin's room. “Ah, Jimin… Get yourself some clear lights… You're such a child.” Murmured Jihyun before staring at the letter to read and scan through it. “A nightclub… So you've been invited to finally do something that will benefit the company? That's a game changer right there.” Teased Jihyun as he let out a chuckle. “I can see why they chose you other than me. I'm not such a party animal like you!”

“Alright… Shut up and give it back. They offered me the invitation since I'm the oldest! You can’t even afford to switch onto underwear. You're still getting potty trained.”

“At least this ‘child' wears business suits and calculates the company statistics while feeding the grandpa here.” Shot back the younger and gave back the letter. “I’m younger than you and I’m more mature than you'll ever be, Mr. Park Jimin.” The boy concluded and with that, he fixed the collar of his turtleneck and walked out of the room.

“Love you too.” Jimin added into a growl and sat up to stare at his letter. “I hope I can finally do something for my family company… I'm tired of being seen as the unsuccessful one… Please… I need to do something with my life.” Jimin was tough on himself knowing that his father and his brother was tough on him. His mother of course, was abroad handling the other branches tied into the company and only came back once a while to fix her visa and extend her visits outside the country. She was the only one that showed Jimin tranquility.
_______________________________________

A few days have passed as friday drew closer and closer… until it was finally here. Jimin prepared his clothes for the night around the afternoon and stared at his reflection with just the white towel fixed around his own waist. In the room with the red dimmed light, Jimin stared at his piercings over his ears, his nipples, and the unprofessional, dyed, hair. Jimin always took a moment to take a look at himself and just feel that he wasn't good enough to please his own family at that. All he knew was how much the bottles would cost at every club and which one's remain open until four in the morning.

After Jimin took a moment to look at himself, the man then began to walk over to his dresser where he pulled out a red, silk, dress shirt, black ripped jeans, and black boots to go to the nightclub on his own. “Just another friday… Hm… I fail to see how this will get my father to work with the most richest man in Korea. If I get kidnapped, I wouldn't be surprised. At least someone will love to keep me instead of bickering at me every second…” Jimin spoke to himself. It was obvious that over the many things he was told through his brother and father's words, he thought little of himself now.

Later onto the night that came around, Jimin sat into his Grey Kia Sportage car. His face was rather faded as he placed his hands onto the steering wheel. Deep down, he knew just going would feel like another friday as he decided to drive to the address within the letter sitting over the dashboard. The nightclub appeared to be hidden underground where the streets grew grim. Jimin felt his stomach turn as he began to doubt that this could have been a real invitation. Taken from the fact that he has never been to the extravagant nightclub only the utmost rich people have uttered, Jimin was feeling nervous. As the man reached his destination, he parked his car right in front of a line of parked cars in a parking lot to the side of the dim street.

Once Jimin parked the car right in front of the given address; Jimin rather hoped to be shot or chased after, but as he walked further, he wasn't. “I think I'm going to die…” Jimin whispered and as he approached the location, there was a well-built security with shades covering his eyes and a black attire that seemed very intimidating. “H-Hi… Excuse me, I have an invitation-”

“Follow me.” The man added as he began to escort Jimin down the alley. From there, Jimin heard music bumping from the underground club and once they reached one part of the Alley, the man walked down the stairs and walked up to a door. That's where he slipped Jimin's letter under and the door was instantly opened. Lights flashed all around and people danced so care-free from the issues right outside the club. Jimin was enchanted by everything as he looked around and stepped in. “Remember, drinks are free here. Enjoy!” The guard told Jimin as the man only nodded his own head and stepped in further. There, his eyes scattered across the huge room.

Black lights made neon colors pop within the club and every drink was served through trays that waiters carried. The dance floor was filled with many people dancing and touching up against each other while the lights to the floor flashed endlessly. Jimin was immersed into the energy and just realized that this club wasn't like another friday. Jimin walked around; normally he would meet up with friends to have fun together but he was all alone now. As Jimin approached the couches, a man walked up to him to offer the drinks perfectly sitting in glasses over the tray. Jimin accepted without any words exchanged as he continued to sit in silence and hope he was being watched to prove his attendance at the club.

While Jimin sat there with different glasses finding their way into his right hand, he set the third glass down and decided to make his way to the dance floor. Hoping to meet someone new. This was how he would act in any club; drink until he was drunk enough to dance. Yet, the alcohol just didn't hit him yet. A little while into Jimin dancing within the crowd and guiding his hips to the beat, his eyes fell onto a young man leaning against the wall.

The man leaning against the wall kept a plain face; his attire was a white dress shirt with the five buttons undone from the top to expose his toned chest and tease a bit of his abs, the dress shirt was then tucked into his skinny black jeans, and to tie it together, the man wore black boots as well. He had piercings over his ears, right brow, and as well as one over the bottom of his plump lip. The way his hair was brushed back and dyed the darkest black and silk color you could ever find, his lips were red and his muscles were exposed once he rolled his sleeves up. Jimin believed that there was no way a man like a Prince would be staring at him like that. Only sex seemed to be written on that man's mind and Jimin was only curious.

As Jimin turned his head away from the man, it wasn't until minutes after he felt hands guide down his waist and down to his thighs while he danced. Those stray hands explored every part of Jimin's body except for his crotch. Jimin smirked and knew exactly who it was by there. As he looked back and turned his body to feel who was holding onto him, his gaze united with the same man leaning against the wall when he watched him as if he was his prey. There, Jimin was able to fix his eyes onto the peculiar man that resembled a bunny once his teeth fell into a smile.

“He's so handsome…” Jimin thought and felt the man hold onto his waist and only look into his eyes in pure silence. Not even saying a word.

Just as he moved in closer, he leaned to Jimin's ear and whispered into his deep voice. “Follow...” The charming man whispered and that was enough to guide Jimin to follow once the younger pulled away. Jimin knew nothing about this man; but his curiosity was enough to get the best of him when he was approached by a Devilish Prince himself.
