*TRIGGER WARNING*
Marinette sat on his bed, fiddling with one of the sleeves of her, his, hoodie. "Hey Marinette, look at this," Alya smiled as she pulled up a picture of all four of them on his computer.
"Oh, I remember that. It's when we went to dinner," Nino laughed as Alya scrolled through secret pictures of Marinette he took.
Marinette blushed as she saw them. Why does, did, he have them? Finally the last picture was one she knew about, the one they took together. "C-can you print that one?" Marinette asked.
"Sure," Alya quickly hit the print button and when it was finished, handed it to Marinette.
"I miss him," Marinette whispered.
"We all do," Alya hugged her friend.
Marinette put her hand in her hoodie pocket and felt the cold metal. She carried his ring around. She would wear it if she didn't have the earrings.
"We're gonna go," Alya smiled weakly,"You stay."
"O-okay," Marinette bit her lip, the tears building up.
When the two left, Marinette laid down on his bed and curled into a ball. The tears she's been fighting escaped and rolled down her cheeks.
Natalie heard the loud sobbing and went to investigate. She saw the young teenage girl crying on his bed and pursed her lips. She never knew Adrien had a girlfriend. None of his friends as hard as she was.
Marinette eventually fell asleep. Which was a mistake.
"It's okay Marinette, it's not your fault," Adrien smiled, standing next to her at his grave.
"Yes it is. If only I hadn't rejected you, you wouldn't have been akumatized. And if I hadn't told you to fight him mentally, you wouldn't have had to fight him physically!" Marinette screamed.
"It's okay princess. I forgive you," He kissed her cheek.
"Don't do that! Don't forgive me! I killed you! It's my fault! I'm a horrible person!" Marinette yelled, "A horrible person who should kill themselves!"
The tears streamed down her face, "I deserve to die."
She awoke by someone shaking her. She opened her eyes to see, Gabriel Agreste.
"I'm so sorry sir! I didn't mean to fall asleep!" She shot of the bed.
"It's alright, I didn't know Adrien had a girlfriend," Gabriel smiled, his eyes tired.
"I-I-I wasn't his girlfriend," She blushed.
"Mm, what a shame," He looked over at Natalie, "I'll have Natalie drive you home."
Marinette nodded and followed his assistant to her car. "Are you Marinette?" She asked, as they drove.
"Y-yes," She answered staring out the window.
"He spoke often and fondly about you," She smiled.
"R-really?" Marinette bit her lip, holding back tears.
"Yes." She replied, "We're here."
Marinette exited the vehicle and ran to her room. She lifted her sleeve to expose the thin cuts on her wrist, she grabbed her razor and added more to her arm.
She deserved this. This is nothing compared to the pain, the damage she caused.
