Marinette and Nathaniel stayed on the roof a little while longer, Nathaniel holding her the whole time. "We should get you back downstairs." He broke the silence.

"Okay." She sighed.

He helped her up and walked her back to her room. As the two entered the room, Sabine smiled when she saw her daughter walk in. "Marinette! Where were you?"

Marinette bit her lip, Nathaniel noticed and answered for her, "She went to the cafeteria to get something to eat and we ran into each other. I'm Nathaniel Kurtzberg. Marinette and I go to school together."

He held out his hand and Sabine shook it, "Yes, I know. Marinette sweetie. They're discharging you but you're not allowed to be behind closed doors."

Marinette nodded.

"I better get going. I'll see you at school, Mari." Nathaniel released her and left.

Marinette sat on her bed and stared at her hoodie. Today was going to be her first day back. Her classes were all arranged that she would sit in the front next to Nathaniel. She ran her finger over the scars on the wrist. She went to put on the hoodie when she felt a sharp pain in her side. She touched the scar where she had plunged a knife into her self and then slowly put on the hoodie.

She walked downstairs to see Nathaniel conversing with her parents. "Nathaniel? What are you doing here?" Marinette bit her lip.

"I'm here to walk you to school," He smiled.

" It's not like I'm going to throw myself in front of car on my way there." She crossed her arms.

"That's not why I'm doing this. It's because you're my friend and I want to walk with you." He explained.

She dropped her arms, "Oh."

She walked to the door and Nathaniel followed, "Goodbye, Mr and Mrs Dupain Cheng."

The two teenagers walked silently to the school. "Is Felix still there?" Marinette whispered.

"Yes ... he's been asking about you." Nathaniel replied.

"I need to get rid of him. If Adrien had to die, so does he." She lowly growled.

As the two went up the front stairs, Felix stood at the top, arms crossed. "Marinette, you're back," He smirked.

She took a deep breath and smiled, "I am."

Nathaniel looked at the two weirdly, "I'll see you in class, Marinette."

She winked at Felix but said to Nathaniel, "Don't wait up."

She hugged Felix, whispering seductively, "Follow me."

She grabbed his hand and led him to an empty classroom. He closed the door and she slammed him against the wood. She pressed her lips against his, making out with him roughly. Felix trailed kisses up and down her neck and began sucking on her porcelain skin. "Is this what you wanted?" She said, angrily, "For me to throw my innocence at you."

She pushed herself away from him, "Keep this pretty picture in your head. Cause this is all you're gonna get."

"Oh honey. I always get what I want," Felix laughed.

"Not this time. Welcome to reality. Sometimes things go wrong and we don't get what we want." She exited the classroom.

"Don't walk away from me!" Felix shouted.

She continued walking.

"Marinette! Get back here! I will get it from you!" He yelled, people began looking at the two.

She paused and turned around, "No, you will not. It is mine. I will keep it for as long as I want. And I sure as hell won't give it to you. It will go to someone who deserves it."

"Like who? Adrien? He's dead, darling. Remember? You killed him," Felix taunted.

Marinette gasped and bit her lip to fight the tears building up. She looked around, people staring at her with dirty looks. She glared at Felix, tears slipping down her cheeks. She ran towards him and slapped him, "Don't you ever say his name. And I didn't kill him, you did."

"Am I Ladybug? Did I cleanse the akuma that could have kept him alive? Better yet, did I break his heart? Did I make him vulnerable for an akuma? No sweetie. That was you. You killed him. Not me." He smirked, "I'll see you later."

She clenched her fists and ran out of the school. She ran as fast as she could. She stopped at a street corner, trying to catch her breath. She glanced up, the Eiffel Tower in front of her. She wiped her eyes, entering the elevator. She walked along the rail, her finger running against the cool, smooth metal. She looked around and climbed onto the railing. She took a deep breath, people below looked up and froze, the people behind her called for her to get down.

She smiled and fell forward. Everyone screamed as she plummeted towards the ground.
