Chapter 40
~Ina~
Anxious I was tapping my fingers on the table. They have been gone for hours and it's almost dark. I had a really bad feeling about this. I could try to connect with Tom, but I don't know if I wanted.
What if he's dead and I can feel how he died.
No Ina don't think like that.
"He's fine, they're fine." I whisper to myself looking at the hole.
A flash of light appeared in the distant and I emmedainly stood up. The light came closer until I could see Craig and Scott.
"You guys are back." I said walking towards them.
I look behind them, but didn't saw Tom or Alex.
"Where's are they?" The two guys looked at each other before looking at me.
"Ina they are."
I shook my head.
"Oh my god their dead right. I already had a bad feeling about this." I blurred out letting Craig finish.
"Ina stop!" Scott grabbed my shoulders trying to calm me down.
"They're fine."
Just then I hear someone walking out the hole. My eyes snapped towards it and I let out the breath that I was holding.
Tom was holding Alex with his arm around his waist and Alex his arm around his shoulder. I could see that it was hard for Alex to walk.
"Thank god." I breath out walking towards them.
The two boys smiled at me before I hugged them both. Tears started to escape my eyes when I thought about getting my family back. Well the beginning of getting a part of my family back.
We still have to change Alex back.
"We're fine." I hear Tom say.
"Okay you guys can hug later we really need to go." Scott said making us pull away.
"The blackhunters know Alex's gone and they will probably come to the house." He's right we need to go to the graveyard right now.
Even if it's still light outside we can hide Alex in the crypt.
"Let's go then." Tom said helping Alex with walking.
"Shouldn't we close that?" I said pointing to the hole.
"Yeah it's better if they don't fine a tunnel that leads to your guys house." Scott said walking towards the cabinet.
Craig help him push it back in front of the hole, but before they could fully close it I saw a face appear in the darkness. It had sinister smile and yellow eyes. Long black hairs were covering most of his face.
Shivers were running down my spine even after they guys push the cabinet in front of it.
"Ina are you okay?" Craig asked when he saw me staring at the now closed hole.
I nodded my head taking my eyes from the spot. "I'm fine, just thinking." I lie.
I don't want them to worry about it now. We first have to help Alex before we can worry about something else.
"Come on let's go before your brothers are gone without us." Scott said walking away. Me and Craig follow him without saying a word. We walked out the house and saw that the guys were already in the car.
I got in the backseat next to Alex. He was leaning his head against the car window. To be honest he really didn't look good. He looked like he was dying from the pain. Tom started the car and we began to drive away.
I took Alex's hand and intertwine our fingers together. Alex looked at me and smiled.
"Thank you." I frown my brows shaking my head.
"For what?" He chuckle before licking his chappy lips.
"For believing in me and trying to save me." I smile giving his hand a squeeze.
"Why wouldn't I believe in you you're my brother and even though I can't remember you from my past I still know you're my brother."
I wish I remember him like I remember Tom, but for some reason I can't.
I wish I could remember everything from my past even the bad parts.
"Those memories are not the best so it's okay." I laugh nodding my head.
"It still isn't fair."
He shrug his shoulders. "Life isn't fair, but you have to live it."
It's true life isn't fair at all and we are the prove from it, but we still have to try.
