Meme stared at his finished medical centre in relief, it was finally done, a smirk painted his face, and now, he could actually be usefull.

"Nice!" Meme heard a voice behind him, he turned around and saw Joocie, who was admiring the medical centre.
"Oh, thanks Joocie!" Meme replied, as he had a sudden urge to complement himself.
"No problem!" The British man replied, a friendly grin appeared on his face
"How are you doing Joocie, Its been quite a while since we spoke"
"Good, I'm just travelling places and exploring."
"That's great, and since my centre is done, I could start working!"
"Oh yeah, have you seen Nadwe?"
"Nadwe? Oh I kinda 'Kicked' him from here so that he won't mess anything up"
"Oh..."

Meme looked at Joocie with curiosity, and then he saw the saddened expression on joocie's face.

"Why? What happened?" Meme asked, genuinely concerned.
"I've been trying to find him for quite a while, see, I've been waiting to hang out with him for weeks, and I think... he's avoiding me..." Joocie Sighed, the last few words he said came out as a mumble.

As Meme was about to tell him not to give up hope, until somebody unexpected joined them...

It was Muffin.

"Hey guys!" Muffin cheered, as he approached the two.
"Hey Muffin, what are you doing here?" Meme asked, annoyed
"I felt like coming here." Muffin replied casually.

Sometimes, you can't understand Muffin at all... Meme sighed at his own thought.

"Oh hey Joocie" Muffin said, as he just noticed the British man standing close to both of them.
"Hey Muffin, do you know where Nadwe is?"  Joocie asked
"Nadwe is doing some things he has joined Woolf's team in the 'Furry war'"

"What Furry war?" Meme questioned
"Where were you guys? Do I really have to explain it? Basically there is a war between the two furries, Woolf and Dino and there's this competition thing-"
Muffin paused
"What? Carry on" Meme replied.
"There is a competition thing to get these wings of truth. That's it."
"That's it!? I'm not a war expect, but that is not war..."

Muffin just simply shrugged, but they didn't notice that Joocie walked off, maybe back to his house, or to Nadwe.

*In the Military base*

Socks was standing proudly at the base, it had only been a day since Socks had joined Dino's side, and he loved it, he never really thought that working in a Military base was fun, but it actually was.

On the other hand, Dino, had been busy, he was planning and planning, and rarely slept, this made his head ache and his eyes twitch every now and then, beging for sleep.

However, Blaza was collecting materials and would occasionally invite Socks to his mining adventure, or just to hang out. He enjoyed the company, and would sometimes stay up mining.

This time, Dino had called Socks and Blaza to discuss plans with them.

"Who vented?" Socks joked, Blaza tried to contain his laughter while Dino growled and looked unamused

"Sorry." Socks apologised

Close to the base was Nadwe who was hearing every plan they made, he tried not to get close to the barbed-wire so he stepped a few feet away from it.

He clenched onto one of his top-hats as he peered through the barbed-wire.

"As I was going to say, I think Woolf has got Tbh on his team." Dino Snarled.
"Tbh? Really?" Socks asked
"Yes Tbh, I haven't seen him around anywhere so he must be there."
"Fair enough"

Blaza was silent, the air blew softly on his face, and clouds seemed to hold the sky, covering the sun. He felt as if something was wrong.

Socks looked at Blaza's expression, and asked;
"What's wrong?"
"I think there's somebody watching us..."
Blaza replied.

Nadwe was panicking: How did he know? What should Nadwe do? Run or stay hidden?

"I'll check around the base, just in case" Dino assured, and rushed outside the base.

Dino looked around the entrance, there wasn't anyone here, but he still carried on searching.

Nadwe saw Dino approaching him, and he HAD to run, there was no other choice. Quickly, he dashed towards woolfs house.

It had been a few minuets, and Nadwe was breathless, his legs felt weak and he was trying to catch his breath. Thankfully, Woolf's house was in sight, and Nadwe start to walk slowly. He could see Tbh standing next to the door, discussing something with somebody which was presumably Woolf.

Tbh recognised Nadwe almost immediately, and saw that he was tired, so he rushes towards him.

"You okay Nadwe?" Tbh asked, as he was walking towards him

Nadwe stood still and tried to gain his breath.

"I'm... B- Breathless" Nadwe huffed
"I'll take you inside, then you can rest" Tbh reassured

Nadwe and Tbh both walked towards Woolf, who was waiting for both of them. Woolf welcomed Nadwe as he sat down, Exhausted.

*At the Military base*

Dino didn't see anybody and was frustrated, so he flounced back to Blaza and Socks- who were waiting for him.

"What happened? Did you see anybody?" Blaza asked, confused.
"No, are you sure you saw somebody?" Dino Speculated.
"I... thought so-"
"I think it's a Spy."

"A spy? From Woolf's side?" Socks Wondered.
"Yes, but we need to attack them." Dino pointed.
"ATTACK? But these are our friends-" Socks reasoned.
"Just to slow them down from getting the wings, it's like a sabotage"

Socks thought Deeply:
But what if people get injured?
What if this causes a full war and this turns us all against each other?

Socks was stuck, he was on Dino's side, but he felt that it was unnecessary for their team to Sabotage Woolf's. To be fair, it only consists of Woolf and Tbh, and possibly another spy.

Socks was so lost in thought that he didn't realise that Dino and Blaza were watching him.

"Sorry..." Socks awkwardly said, "But I'm unsure on what to do, what if Woolf's team get injured? What if this effects us in the long term?" Socks reasonably argued.

Blaza agreed with Socks, but he didn't make it obvious. He was sitting quietly, almost invisible to Socks and Dino, until Dino remembered that Blaza was next to them.

"Blaza, you've been quite, what do you think?" Dino asked, a calm tone in his manner.

"I... uhh, I agree with Socks" Blaza blurted

Dino was enraged: He was trying to conceal his anger and clenched his fists tightly. After a few seconds of silence, he eventually calmed himself and spoke.

"Okay, so we are not going to 'sabotage' them" Dino reassured.

Socks gave a sigh of relief, as he got up and started to walk outside the base. Blaza decided to go back to cave mining alone, and hurried towards the cave, leaving Dino alone.

Dino wasn't happy about his decision, and had a backup plan, just incase something went wrong.

"I'm gonna go now" Nadwe reassured
"Are you sure?" Tbh asked
"Yes, I'm sure, bye."
"Fine, be safe"

Nadwe left happily, and decided to find Muffin. The sun started to set and the sky was a deep orange and pink, it didn't take long until black enveloped the sky.

Stars had started to glow vigously, and the moon stood in place.

Nadwe Wondered around until he realised he was lost. After almost bumping into a tree, he noticed he was a forest.

Great job Nadwe, its night, and you've ended up in a forest.

The air was cold, and Nadwe was shivering. He clenched onto one of his hats and searched for a way out.

After 20 minutes or so, Nadwe fell deeper into the forest and started to panic.

Why did I decide to look for Muffin? I'm such an idiot.
What If I get attacked? Then nobody can find my dead body.

Thoughts flooded Nadwe's mind as he gripped onto his tophat. The air was silent- too silent. Nadwe wished he could be at home, safe from danger, but instead, he was going to die.

After a few minuets of silence, Nadwe heard a branch snap, and knew that he wasn't alone.

"Who... are you?" Nadwe asked, as he tried to hide his fear
"Show yourself." Nadwe commanded as he was debating in his head if he would prefer to see or not to see the figure.

Nadwe turned around slowly and saw blood-red eyes glaring at him.

It was a vampire.

The vampire ambled towards Nadwe and revealed sharp glistening fangs.
Nadwe started to walk back in fear but suddenly stumbled on a tree root. This made him lean against the tree in panic.

Sweat trinkeled down his head as his breath was pacing. It didn't take long until the 14 year old bursted into tears.

"Please, don't... don't do this!" Nadwe begged, a tear gradually falling down his cheek.

The vampire seemed to ignore Nadwe's voice and continued to walk towards him, this time walking faster

And faster...

Until the vampire was only a step away from Nadwe's demise.

Nadwe tried to calm himself down but it wasn't working, how is he supposed to calm down when a vampire wants his blood?

The vampire stood there and smirked; he knew that Nadwe was defenseless.

If only I was stronger and smarter to not wonder into a stupid forest looking for my friend...
Now I'm going to die from a vampire.

The vampire swiftly picked up Nadwe, who was in shock from the vampire holding him.

The vampire looked at Nadwe's neck; where he was going to drink blood, he opened his mouth and...

Something stabbed the vampire, which made the vampire lose grip of nadwe.
The vampire fell to the floor and disappeared into thin air.

Nadwe could see who stabbed the Vampire clearly, and cried.

"LAFF! You... saved me." Nadwe sniffed.

Laff had used a wooden stake to kill the vampire and had thrown it on the forest ground. He looked at Nadwe and tried to calm him down

"You are fine now mate, don't worry." Laff reassured
"But... W- Wh-" Nadwe tried to speak, but fear took over.

Nadwe had a million different questions, but he was panicking too much to ask.

"We should get you home, or to Meme's medbay; you may be hurt" Laff answered, worried.
"No, don't, if Meme sees me like this, he will be shocked and will never allow me to go out ever again" Nadwe protested
"Fine, but I'm making sure that you're not hurt, let's go, quickly" Laff Exclaimed.

Laff lead Nadwe out of the forest, Nadwe was confused on how Laff knew the forest so well. Nadwe had calmed down from a vampire trying to kill him, but he was still a bit frightened.

"Are you okay?" Laff asked, it was the first time he said that all day.
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's not the worst thing to ever happen to me" Nadwe lied.
"That's good to know" Laff replied
"Also, why were you in the forest in the middle of the night carrying around that wooden-thing"
"Why were you in the middle of the forest at night?"
"I was, looking for Muffin"
"At night?"

"Yes, at night" Nadwe replied
"But you still haven't answered my question, why were you carrying that thing around?" Nadwe continued

Laff hesitated for a moment before replying;

"I didn't see you so I thought you went missing, so I came to look for you, I always carry this stake with me"

"But why?" Nadwe asked

"I hate vampires, they are unnatural." Laff Growled.

"That's strange, I thought Vanpires didn't exist, and I didn't know you hated them"

It had been a few minuets, and Nadwe's home was in sight, he quickly thanked Laff and rushed home.

Laff made sure that Nadwe was safe, as he had been attacked by a vampire, but something made him very concerned.

Laff remembers Nadwe being a vampire.

Hello everyone! This was the 7th chapter of Haunted! (I'm not dead, don't worry) This chapter is one of my favourites, but the next one will be even better! This was a very long chapter!

Fun fact: the next chapter is my favourite chapter because I decided that I would make my favourite number (8) into my favourite chapter!
