Ragini got only time to remove her hair strands from her face when she saw Laksh lying unconscious on the road and got shocked. She shouted with all her voice: "Lakshh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

But Laksh was lying in a pool of blood on the road with closed eyes.

Ragini's tears got hidden by the drops of the rain.

A stunned Ragini got up and ran towards Laksh shouting his name: "Laksh! Laksh!!!"

She sat near him crying and shook him hoping to get a response: "Laksh!! Open your eyes Laksh!! Laksh!!"

She cried hugging an unconscious Laksh while the rain's drops were wetting them in the darkness of the night: "Laksh!!"

She placed Laksh's bleeding head on her lap and crying screamed: "Some help please!! Help!!"

Her voice only echoed in the night without any answer.

Ragini cried loudly bowing her head down and merging her forehead with Laksh's one.

Suddenly she heard her phone ringing. It was Swara.

Ragini immediately picked the call up: "Swara..."

Swara, who was in her room, spoke from the other side: "Hello ragini? Where are you?"

Ragini cried.

Swara: "Ragini what happened? Why are you crying? Where are you Ragini, I've been looking for you everywhere?"

Ragini: "Swara... Laksh had an accident and he is unconscious... I don't know what to do..." – She said sobbing.

Swara was shocked: "What? How?"

Just then Sanskar knocked at the opened door and Swara turned towards him.

Sanskar: "Swara did you see Ragini or Laksh anywhere?"

Swara stammered: "S... San... Sanskar... Laksh actually... he..."

Sanskar: "What happened to Laksh?"

Swara didn't know how to tell him what happened so she just gave him the phone and said: "Ragini..."

Sanskar held the phone confused: "Hello, Ragini? Where are you? What's happening here?"

Ragini couldn't stop crying.

Sanskar got worried hearing her crying and his heart pinched.

Sanskar: "Ragini... why are you crying? Is everything fine? Ragini tell me, I'm getting scared..."

Ragini closed her eyes and gulped down. Then she said: "Laksh had an accident... He isn't giving any response Sanskar, I don't know what to do!"

Sanskar's eyes widened and he felt like someone removed the ground beneath his feet.

Sanskar: "WHAT? H.. how... R... Ragini what are you saying?"

Ragini just cried.

Sanskar's eyes welled up with tears but he controlled himself and said: "Ragini call the 999 emergency number immediately and then let me know in which hospital you'll be, we'll come. Please Ragini, do it fast!"

Ragini wiped her tears and nodded. She cut the call and called the emergency number.

AFTER A WHILE

IN THE HOSPITAL

Doctors were taking Laksh, who was lying on the hospital cot, towards the emergency ward, while Ragini was holding tightly Laksh's hand with tears in her eyes and looking straight at Laksh.

"Kinna sona yaar heer vekhdi nazara...
Kinna sona yaar heer vekhdi nazara..
Ranjha mera Ranjha manjha chaarda bechara..."

They reached in front of the emergency ward. Ragini wasn't ready to leave Laksh's hand.

Nurse: "Mam please leave the hand. You cannot go inside."

Ragini didn't leave Laksh's hand. She was looking lifeless at him with her wet eyes and without even blinking. She recalled the moment she just spent with Laksh.

"O Ranjha mera Ranjha..
O Ranjha mera Ranjha..."

She recalled their closeness when he was about to kiss her under the rain. While in her thoughts Laksh was coming closer to her, in the reality the doctors were taking Laksh in the emergency ward, away from her and his hand was slowly getting removed from Ragini's hand.

"O Ranjha mera Ranjha..
O Ranjha mera Ranjha..."

As soon as Laksh was taken inside the ward Ragini fell on her knees lifeless.

Ragini looked at the door of the emergency ward. She recalled herself laughing with Laksh after clearing the misunderstanding between them. She closed her eyes and tears rolled down from them.

"Main Heer haan teri...
Main peed haan teri...
Je tu baddal kaala...
Main neer haan teri..."

Ragini wiped her tears still crying and went to sit in front of the ward.

The machines in the ward were signing Laksh's heartbeat getting slow.

An unconscious Laksh slowly said: "R..Ragini.."

As soon as he took her name she stood up and went near the door to look inside through the little glass window but seeing the doctors still around an unconscious Laksh she looked down.

"Mera Ranjha, main Ranjhe di..
Ranjha hai chitchor..
Je karke wo mil jaaye..
Taan ki chahinda hai hor..."

She kept looking through the window while the doctors were treating Laksh.

"O mera mera Ranjha
O Ranjha, mera Ranjha
O Ranjha, mera Ranjha...."

AFTER A FEW MINUTES

Ragini was sitting in front of the ward with no expression on her face when Sanskar, Swara and Jack came there.

Sanskar: "Ragini..."

Ragini looked up at him and tears started to flow from her eyes again. Swara went to sit next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder and Ragini hugged her starting to sob.

Sanskar looked at her and then at the ward. He went near it and looked inside through the glass window. His heart broke down seeing his brother in that condition. He looked away since he couldn't bear it and tears run down on his cheeks. He wasn't able to say a word.

LATER

Swara came with 2 glasses of water and gave one to Sanskar who was sitting on the chair looking down with teary eyes and then moved to Ragini.

Swara: "Ragini drink water at least... you haven't had anything since you came in the hospital..."

Ragini: "No Swara, I'm fine."

Swara tried to forward the glass to her: "Ragini please..."

Ragini threw away the glass: "Swara I told you...!" - but just then she stopped hearing the glass breaking noise.

Swara, Jack, Sanskar and Ragini looked on and saw the glass broken on the ground near the feet of a woman and a man. They lifted up their eyes and got surprised to see Durga Parsad and Annapurna there.

Sanskar stood up seeing them and went to hug Annapurna: "Badi Maa..."

Annapurna was crying: "Sanskar... What happened to Laksh? Where is he?"

Ragini looked confused at them. Swara noticed it and slowly said to her: "They took the first flight to London as soon as they got to know Laksh is here..."

Ragini looked at Annapurna crying hugging Sanskar.

Durga Parsad: "How did this happen?"

Sanskar turned to look at Ragini. Swara and Jack looked at her too.

Jack: "Exactly... how did this happen? I was looking for Laksh everywhere but I couldn't find him in the academy then Sanskar informed me about the accident..."

Ragini: "Voh... I..." – She looked at Dp and Annapurna and gulped – "I wanted to go to see the city so Laksh took me out. A car came in the road and... and was about to hit us... but Laksh pushed me on time and..."

Jack: "and he got hit.."

Durga Parsad: "So he is in this condition because of you."

Ragini shook her head crying and opened her mouth to speak but before she could say anything...

Durga parsad: "Shut up! Today my son is fighting for his life because of you only! And Sanskar... you couldn't fulfill your responsibility. Being Laksh's brother, you needed to keep him away from such people. How many times I told you both to stay away from middle class people, they will reduce you like this!"

Swara: "Uncle! You are elder so we aren't replying but that doesn't mean you'll keep saying whatever you want. This was just an accident, how is it my sister's fault?"

Durga Parsad: "Didn't he get hit while saving your sister?"

Swara was about to say something but Ragini held her elbow tightly to stop her.

Just then the doctor came out of the Emergency ward.

Ragini was about to rush towards him but Annapurna and Durga Parsad went to the doctor before her. Ragini backed off and looked down.

Annapurna: "Doctor... Laksh..."

Doctor: "He isn't giving any response. We can't say anything right now. If he doesn't give any sign soon, I am afraid to say we will not be able to sav..."

Ragini: "Nothing will happen to Laksh!" - She said this gritting her teeth and looking down. Everyone looked at her while she lifted her eyes to the doctor – "Nothing will happen to him."

Saying this she ran away, out of the hospital.

Swara, Jack and Sanskar looked at each other.

Ragini ran in the dark streets of London and reached in front of a church. She ran inside it crying. She let herself fall on the feet of an idol of Jesus. She looked at it with teary eyes: "Please... please save him."

She bowed her head sobbing loudly..

"Ek tum, ek main, teeja maangu kya khuda se..
Dil doon, jaan doon, kya doon itna bata de.."
("You, me... what else shall I ask from God?
Should I give up my heart or my life, please tell me what I should give")

Ragini recalled Laksh twirling her holding her hand under the rain.

"Tera.. mera rishta hai.. saanson se bhi naazuk..."
("Our relationship is even more delicate than breath")

She recalled their confession of feelings. Ragini cried more closing her eyes tightly.

"Tum sa, hum sa, koi duja na hoga na hua re.."
("Like you and like me, there wasn't and there won't be anyone ever".)

Ragini recalled Laksh rubbing his nose against hers while the rain was wetting them..

"Do dil sa ik seene mein hai jaise Main aur Tum.."
("We are like two hearts in one body...")

She recalled Laksh pulling her up holding her waist.

"Ab dono hum ek jeene mein hain jaise Main aur Tum.."
("Both of us are alive together")

Ragini looked at Jesus' idol for a last time and then she slowly stood up and turned.

She was about to go out of the church when she saw some candles near the wall. She slowly went towards them when a voice stopped her: "What are you doing here at this time?"

Ragini turned and saw a nun there.

Nun: "You know people aren't allowed to come at this time..."

Ragini looked at Jesus idol with teary eyes: "I had to pray for the life of someone... there isn't an exact time to pray right?"

The nun smiled: "Of course, God always hear the prayers."

Ragini slowly said: "Then why God isn't hearing my prayer? Am I that bad that also God left me?"

The nun stayed silent for a while. Ragini was about to go but the nun stopped her again: "Wait..."

Ragini looked on.

The nun took her in front of some candles: "Light a candle and make a prayer. Maybe God will hear your prayer sooner..."

She smiled.

Ragini looked at the candles. She slowly lighted one with a match.

Nun: "For who is this prayer? May I know?"

Ragini slowly said: "Laksh..." - She lighted another candle with another match.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Durga Parsad, Sanskar, Annapurna, Swara and Jack were gathered around Laksh who wasn't giving any response yet... but Suddenly Laksh took a deep breath. Everyone looked on.

Sanskar immediately ran out of the ward calling out for the doctor: "Doctor! Doctor!"

The doctor came and saw the machines signing the heartbeat increased.

Doctor: "His heartbeat turned normal! I think now he is out of danger... that's a miracle. I never thought this could happen so soon! Now we have just to wait till he will open his eyes."

All smiled taking a breath of relief and thanking God.

MEANWHILE

Nun: "And this one?"

Ragini again said: "Laksh..." - She lighted another candle.

Nun: "And this?"

Ragini: "Laksh..." - she lighted another candle..

Nun: "And this one is again for your love right?"

Ragini looked at her holding the match.

IN THE HOSPITAL

Jack and Swara were sitting near Laksh while Annapurna and Durga Parsad were talking to the doctor and Sanskar was gone to complete the formalities.

Laksh slowly moved a little his fingers.

MEANWHILE

Ragini was lost in her thoughts when the match got consumed and the last flame touched her finger. She hissed for pain leaving the match.

As soon as she hissed Laksh got up shouting: "Ragini!"

Everyone turned at him.

In the church Ragini felt something strange as she felt like someone called her. She looked on: "Laksh..."

Ragini immediately ran out of the church without lighting the last candle.

MEANWHILE

Everyone rushed towards Laksh.

Annapurna sat near him caressing his face and hair: "Laksh, dear you are ok?"

Laksh furrowed his eyebrows seeing her and Durga Parsad there: "Maa, Papa... you here?"

Annapurna: "We took the first flight to London as soon as we got to know you are here..."

Laksh was breathing heavily: "R.. Ragini... Where is she? She was with me when the accident happened... Where is she?! Is she fine?"

Sanskar: "Lucky don't take stress. Ragini is absolutely fine. You..."

Laksh: "Where is she?"

Durga Parsad: "Leave that girl! Don't take tension; it's not good for your health."

Laksh: "I'm asking something!"

Just then he heard that voice he wanted to hear: "Laksh..."

He looked at the door and met those eyes he wanted to see. It was Ragini.

A smile appeared among her tears seeing Laksh fine.

Laksh was about to get up but the doctor stopped him: "Sir you can't go anywhere right now. Your health isn't that good yet."

Laksh looked at Ragini who nodded at him.

Also Sanskar came in the ward and saw that Laksh gained conscious. He immediately ran towards him to hug him: "Lucky! Finally you... you are back...You don't know how scared I was! Can anybody do like this with his brother! Can't you be careful?"

Laksh smiled a little bit.

Jack: "I have to go to inform the principal about Laksh. He was getting tensed... but.. I need one member of Team India. The principal have to talk to the Indian team urgently."

Swara: "I will come. Laksh need both his brother and best friend."

With this she followed Jack out of the ward.

Doctor: "Laksh is out of danger but he needs rest so we can't let him go from the hospital till 24 hours."

Sanskar: "Sure doctor... take your time for the treatment but nothing should go wrong with my brother's health."

Just then a nurse came: "Sir..." - She looked at Sanskar – "We need a sign... if you can..."

Sanskar nodded and followed her.

Doctor: "And there are some medicines Laksh have to take so please come with him so I can give them."

Durga Parsad: "Sure..."

The doctor went out of the ward. Durga Parsad was about to go out too but he stopped beside Ragini before going out and slowly said as only Ragini could hear: "Stay away from my son. If anything happens to him, I'll not spare you."

Ragini looked at Durga Parsad who glared at her and went away.

Ragini turned to look again at Laksh and saw him still staring at her.

Annapurna noticed them sharing an eye lock from far and smiled: "Ragini why are you standing far dear? My son wants you near him."

Laksh looked at her confused while Ragini looked down blushing.

Annapurna: "Why are you looking at me like this? Did you really think that I wouldn't understand all this?" - She slapped playfully on Laksh's back head – "I'm your mother. I could see the way she was worrying about you, crying for you... and you just took her name as soon as you woke up... maybe others didn't hear but nothing goes unnoticed from a mother."

Laksh looked at Ragini smiling: "You are still standing there? Come, now even your mother-in-law called you!"

He smiled at her naughtily.

Ragini walked inside the ward and sat on the stool near him.

Annapurna stood up smiling: "I'm going to the washroom." - She went away giggling.

Laksh and Ragini were alone in the ward now.

Laksh: "Why did you take so much time to come?"

Ragini: "I was in the church..."

Laksh: "Your would-be-husband was fighting between life and death and you were in the church?!"

Ragini looked at him angrily: "I was there to pray for you only!"

Laksh smiled: "Really?"

Ragini nodded in a childish way: "I was praying for your long life and you..."- She crossed her arms looking at Laksh angrily but in a cute way.

Laksh smiled at her and slowly moved near her and made her look at him holding her chin: "Don't pray for me alone. Pray for us to live a long life together."

Ragini: "Laksh!"

Laksh: "Yes would-be-wife?"

Ragini: "When did I say that I'll marry you?"

Laksh: "When did you say that you won't?"

They looked at each other while Laksh was smiling naughtily at Ragini's anger.

Laksh was lost in Ragini's eyes when she moved her hand slowly from his forehead to close his eyes making him lie down.

Laksh slowly fell asleep and Ragini stayed there to stare at him smiling.

AFTER TWO HOURS

Ragini was feeding Laksh with soup when Swara came there with Sanskar.

Swara: "Guys there is a little thing you all should know..."

Ragini: "What happened Swara?"

Swara: "The principal got to know that Laksh is still registered as a student of Mumbai Academy... and according to the rules you should be out of the competition."

Laksh and Ragini were shocked.

Swara: "But... you had also been chosen to be part of Team India before you came here... plus Karishma left Team India since she thinks it's not of her level... and she also left Mumbai Academy to join St Martin Academy of London..."

Laksh: "Swara what's the point?"

Swara looked at Sanskar and slowly a smile came on their faces: "You are a part of Team India!"

Laksh and Ragini: "What?!"

Sanskar: "Yes! There it's kinda an exchange... Laksh in Team India and Karishma in Team UK."

Laksh: "But there is not any problem?"

Sanskar: "No. Rules say that every team has to be formed by five members maximum and we are four. The members must belong to the sme academy and that we do. So there isn't any problem and both UK and India teams have no problem as well."

Laksh and Ragini smiled.

Ragini: "This is such a good news! Now that we four are together, nobody can beat us!"

Laksh. Swara, Sanskar and Ragini gave a hi5 to each other.

Annapurna came in the ward: "Laksh won't even think about any competition right now. He is conscious but not completely fit. Doctor said that he has to stay in the hospital at least or 24 hours!"

Laksh: "What?! 24 hours in the hospital and that too alone?!"

The doctor came with Durga Parsad: "Not exactly... one of you can stay here. But only one because the patient needs someone to take care."

Annapurna: "I can stay here with my son."

Sanskar: "Badi Mom you and Bade Papa just came from a long journey, you need rest too."

Annapurna: "But..."

Laksh: "No ifs and buts Maa. Sanskar is right. You both should go and take rest."

Swara: "But tomorrow there is the written test and 2 of us have to participate in it. Ragini already did the race so I and Sanskar should do it... how can he stay then?..."

Laksh: "Then Ragini can stay! I don't have any problem!"

Durga Parsad looked on.

Ragini looked at Laksh with big eyes: "How can I..."

Annapurna: "Laksh is right! Ragini dear you can stay here."

Dp: "But Annapurna..."

Annapurna: "We shall leave now! Sanskar and Swara must review for the test too!"

Laksh smiled naughtily looking at Ragini. She glared at him but he winked.

Swara, Maheshwaris and the doctor left from there.

Once Laksh found himself alone with Ragini he exlaimed: "Finally alone!"

Ragini: "Yes... and now you will sleep and I have to take care of you!"

Laksh: "I'm ok with you taking care of me but... sleeping right now? Let's talk... do romance..."

Ragini smiled: "First of all..."- she took some medicine from the nightstand and a glass of water – "This."

Laksh: "First of all I want to hear those 3 magical words."

Ragini sat next to him and acted to think: "Which?"

Laksh: "Those words that two lovers say to each other!"

Ragini: "Lovers don't need to express their feelings in words, eyes are enough!"

Laksh: "But I want to hear those three magical words from your lips!"

Ragini: "But which?"

Laksh: "I... love... you!"

Ragini chuckled.

Laksh: "Say it now!"

Ragini came closer to him: "I..."

Laksh felt her closeness: "I..."

Ragini came closer: "I..."

Laksh: "Go ahead na!"

Ragini came closer to him: "love..."

Laksh: "love..."

Ragini came very close to him while he was straight looking in her eyes: "Love..."

Laksh opened his mouth to say something but Ragini quickly gave him the medicine and before he could react she quickly made him drink the water.

Ragini started to laugh while Laksh gulped down the water and medicine.

Laksh: "Ragini!!!"

Ragini stood up laughing but Laksh pulled her towards him making her delicately fall on his chest. They looked in each other's eyes.

"Mujhko barsaat bana lo..
Ek lambi raat bana lo...
Apne jazbaat bana lo jaana.."

Laksh softly caressed her cheek. Ragini closed her eyes.

"Mujhko alfaaz bana lo..
Dil ki aawaaz bana lo..
Gehra sa raaz bana lo jaana..."

He moved her hair strand behind the ear and started to come closer to her lips.

"Nasha hoon main behakne do.."

Suddenly Ragini got up while her long hair caressed Laksh's face.

"Mere qatil mujhe jeene ka haq toh do..."

Before she could go away Laksh held her wrist again and made her fall on him. By this Ragini bumped hardly against his chest making him hiss for pain.

Ragini: "Laksh!!"

Laksh: "I'm fine... just that you weren't coming to me so I felt a bit of pain..."

Ragini furrowed her eyebrows: "Where?"

Laksh took her hand and placed it softly on his chest: "Here..." – He said indicating his heart.

Ragini looked on. They shared a deep eye-lock.

"Mujhko barsaat bana lo..
Ek lambi raat bana lo..
Apne jazbaat bana lo jaana..."

Ragini smiled and stood up going to lie on the deckchair on the right of Laksh's bed.

Laksh made an angry face. Ragini showed him the tongue.

Laksh crossed his arms and looked on. Just then his eyes went on a paper and a pen on the nightstand. He took the paper and wrote something on it and then he made a paper airplane and threw it to Ragini who caught it shaking his head at his childish behavior.

Ragini read what was written: "When you go away from me, my heart cries."

She looked at Laksh and turned the paper taking another pen from the drawer near her. She made a paper airplane and threw it on Laksh.

Laksh caught it and read what was written: "But I can't trust your intentions when I'm near you."

Laksh smiled and wrote something again and again threw the paper plane towards Ragini.

Ragini caught the chit and read: "It's the effect of the intoxication of your beauty."

Ragini smiled but this time she didn't reply. Laksh made a pout seeing this and took another paper writing something again... but when he turned to throw it at Ragini he noticed she was already lying on the deckchair with closed eyes.

Laksh put away the chit and slowly stood up with some difficulties and went to lie next to Ragini who was giving him the back.

"Mujhe apne sirhaane pe
Thodi si jagah de do.."

Ragini turned with closed eyes and when she opened them she found two dark deep eyes very close to her... she got up screaming and with this sudden scream Laksh got scared and was about to get up but as the deckchair was little he fell on the ground. Ragini looked at it and realizing what happened she started to laugh... while Laksh stared at her from down.

"Mujhe neend na aane ki
Koi toh wajah de do..."

Laksh suddenly started to hiss for pain holding his arm.

Ragini: "What happened Laksh?!"

Laksh: "You just pushed a injured patient down and you're asking what happened?!! It was paining since before and now.."

Ragini got worried and stood up to go towards him, she knelt near him but before she could do anything Laksh held her elbow and made her fall on the ground and rolled on himself coming on the top of her and merging her back with the ground.

"Hawa hoon main lipatne do
Mere kaatil, mujhe jeene ka haq toh do..."

Ragini and Laksh looked at each other for a while sharing a passionate eye-lock and then Laksh started to come closer to her and finally placed his lips on hers. A soft peck turned in a passionate one. Ragini was running one hand in Laksh's hair while keeping the other on his shoulder.

"Mujhko barsat banalo
Ek lambi raat bana lo
Apne jazbaat bana lo jaana.."

They broke the kiss and Ragini ran on the deckchair blushing and giving the back to Laksh. She covered her face with both the hands while a smile was reigning on her face.

Laksh smiled at her and sighed merging his back to the floor and looking at the ceiling smiling: "You left so soon?"

He stood up and went to lie on his bed keeping to look at Ragini who wasn't able to look at him. He slowly fell asleep keeping his eyes on Ragini before closing them.

THE NEXT DAY

Ragini and Laksh were wielding some bracelets when Swara and Sanskar came in the ward.

Ragini saw them: "You are finally here!"- Just then she noticed that they were looking sad.

Ragini: "What happened? Didn't the test go well?"

Sanskar sat on Laksh's bed: "Team India is now on the 1st position as Team Uk got very few points in the test while we topped..."

Laksh smiled: "This is splendid, isn't it?! Why are you looking sad and worried?!"

Swara took a stool and sat near Ragini: "There is cooking competition and I got chosen to represent our team but you know Ragini... I can't even cook an egg!"

Just then a voice spoke from behind: "What's the need to worry?"

They turned and saw Annapurna coming towards them with tiffin.

Annapurna: "See I made kheer! I thought we'll enjoy together but seems like I need to go back to the kitchen with Swara and teach her some simple but good dishes!"

Swara smiled: "Really aunty?!"

Sanskar: "Oh yes! Why didn't I think about it before? Badi Mom is a brilliant chef!"

Swara: "Thanks a lot aunty ji!"

Annapurna: "Let's eat this kheer and then we'll go!"

Swara nodded while Annapurna took out the kheer from the tiffin and served it to everyone.

Laksh: "I hope there aren't almonds!"

Annapurna: "Don't worry there aren't! I know you are allergic to almonds."

Ragini: "Really?"

Sanskar: "Yes. Once when he was a kid he got stubborn and ate almonds and then was ill for three days and became red like a tomato!"

Ragini: "So he is stubborn since childhood!"

Ragini laughed with Sanskar while giving him a hi5.

Laksh glared at them.

Ragini: "Guys see what we made!" – She showed some handmade bracelets to Swara and Sanskar – "Friendship bands!"

Laksh: "Yes, come dear brother... i have to tie it on your mouth... I mean... your wrist.." – He took Sanskar's wrist and tied the bracelet on it while Ragini tied one on Swara's wrist.

Then Ragini and Laksh turned at each other and made wear the bracelets to each other smiling.

Annapurna smiled seeing them and then stood up: "Come Swara! There is a lot of work to do! Come on!"

Swara: "Yes aunty ji! Let's go!

Sanskar: "I shall leave too now. Ragini take care of Laksh!"

Just then Durga Parsad came there: "No need of that."

Everyone looked at him.

Durga Parsad: "I will stay here with Laksh. Ragini doesn't need to disturb herself more."

Laksh: "Papa..."

Ragini: "No Laksh..." – Laksh looked at her confused.. – "I shall go back in the academy with Sanskar... uncle is here na..." – She looked at Dp a little scared.

Sanskar: "Ok then... let's go Ragini!"

He went out of the ward followed by Ragini.

LATER

Ragini was about to go upstairs in her room when..

Sanskar: "Ragini!"

Ragini turned at him: "Yes?"

Sanskar: "Actually... tomorrow the competition will take place during a party since they decided to serve the dishes made by competitors in a buffet and people will choose the best one."

Ragini: "Oh... and..?"

Sanskar: "Would you like to come at the party with me?"

Ragini smiled: "Why not?"

Sanskar smiled: "Ok then tomorrow at 8 pm i will come to take you!"

Ragini: "Done!" – With this she went upstairs.

Sanskar stared at her from behind and sighed:"I think i have to tell you my feeling asap.. I can't wait more!"

He smiled at himself and went to his room.

THE NEXT DAY

Laksh was back in the academy and everyone were getting ready for the evening.

At 8 pm as decided Sanskar came to Ragini's room to take her. He knocked at the door.

Ragini came out of the room.

Sanskar got stunned looking at her beauty: "Ragini... you are looking extremely gorgeous!"

Ragini giggled: "Thanks! And you are looking very handsome too!"

Sanskar smiled and was about to forward his hand to take Ragini's one when someone else forwarded his hand to Ragini: "May i have the pleasure beautiful lady?"

Ragini and Sanskar looked at him. It was Laksh.

Ragini smiled: "Sorry mister... You are a little late!" – She held Sanskar's arm – "I am going to the party with Sanskar!"

Laksh took back his hand: "Uff! This is unfair!"

Just then Swara came there too: "Hey guys!"

Sanskar: "Hi Swara... Wow... you are looking beautiful!"

Swara smiled: "Thank you Sanskar!"

Laksh: "Ok then... May i have the pleasure to take this beautiful lady at the party as the previous one refused?!"

Swara chuckled and held his hand: "Laksh"

The 4 went towards the party place smiling and talking together.

At the party

Swara got very happy seeing her dishes praised by people.

Swara: "I have to tell this to Maa! She always scolds me for my bad skills in cooking!"

Just then she saw Annapurna and Durga Parsad coming towards them: "Aunty ji thank God I found you! Thank you so much!!"

Annapurna: "I had to do this. After all my two sons are in the team too!"

They kept talking.

Sanskar yawned bored. Ragini noticed it and hit him on the stomach laterally with her elbow.

Sanskar: "Shucks!"

Ragini: "Sanskar! Show some education!"

Sanskar: "I am getting bored..." - just then he saw some couples dancing with slow music. He got an idea and went away leaving Ragini confused.

AFTER A WHILE

Everyone were enjoying the party when the lights got off. All looked around.

Just then Sanskar is showed under the spotlights: "Attention everybody! So... I am very glad to say that Indian team kept its 1st position in the competition... and to celebrate this..." - He went towards Ragini and knelt in front of her. He forwarded his hand – "may i?"

Ragini put her hand on his smiling.

Laksh looked at their hands and felt a bit uncomfortable but kept a smile when Sanskar asked him to dance with Swara.

Sanskar and Laksh held respectively Ragini and Swara's hands and started to walk towards the center of the hall looking at their dance partners while the music was giving them the rhythm.

"Tere dar pe aake tham gaye...
Naina namaazi bann gaye.."

Sanskar pulled Ragini closer while Laksh did the same with Swara but keeping a little of space between them.

"Ek dooje mein yun dhal ke.."

The boys lifted the girls down making them half fall and keeping a hand on their backs.

"Aashiqana aayat ban gaye..."

Sanskar and Laksh twirled Swara and Ragini holding their hands.

"Main aur Tum"

They left their lady partners hands and Ragini fell in Laksh's arms and he held her by her waist and the same happened with Swara and Sanskar.

"Kaisi dil lagaai kar gaye.."

Laksh and Sanskar made Ragini and Swara stand up slowly.

"Rooh ki rubaai bann gaye.."

The girls placed their hands on the guys' shoulders and the latter surrounded their waist with hands and the couples moved with the music.

"Khaali khaali dono thhe jo"

Sanskar and Laksh made Swara and Ragini turn merging their backs with their chest and then lifted them up holding their waist.

"thoda sa dono bhar gaye Main aur Tum.."

They took the girls back on the floor and after exchanging their places again and making the couples as Ragini&Sanskar and Swara&Laksh, they twirled them holding their hands while taking a hand behind their backs.

"Chalo ji aaj saaf saaf kehta hoon.."

Spotlights on Sanskar who pulled Ragini towards him again and caressed her cheek with a finger.

"Itni si baat hai mujhe tumse pyar hai.."

He placed a hand on her waist while holding her hand with the other and Ragini put her other hand on Sanskar's shoulders. They moved with the music.

"Yunhi nahi main tumpe jaan deta hoon..."

Spotlights on swara&Laksh who were in the same position.

"Itni si baat hai mujhe tumse pyar hai.."

The four repeated the sequence again exchanging the couples.

"Chalo ji aaj saaf saaf kehta hoon..
Itni si baat hai mujhe tumse pyar hai..
Mujhe tumse pyaar hai.."

The music continued and the four kept dancing.

At the end the couples were again as the dance started. Everyone clapped. Durga Parsad hesitated a little but then clapped too.

After bowing in front of the people in a royal way Sanskar, Laksh, Ragini and Swara recomposed.

AFTER A WHILE

Ragini was about to take something to eat from the buffet when someone held her elbow and took her behind a pillar merging her back against it.

It was Laksh.

Ragini: "What are you doing Laksh?"

Laksh showed her ice cream with almonds on it.

Ragini: "Laksh! You can't eat this!"

Laksh: "But today I saw the love of my life with someone else so to punish my eyes for this sin i have to eat this!"

Ragini: "Are you mad?"

Laksh: "If you want you can stop me."

Ragini: "How?"

Laksh: "3 magical words..."

Ragini: "Laksh stop it! Someone will see us!"

Laksh took a spoon of ice cream with almonds: "Blame only you miss. Ragini Gadodia if I fall ill."

Ragini: "Laksh no!"

Laksh took the spoon near his mouth: "3 magical words!"

Ragini: "Laksh please... Not now!"

Laksh took the spoon closer to his mouth: "See i am about to eat..."

Ragini looked around. Some people were looking at them. She turned again at Laksh and is about to say something but bot shocked to see Laksh with the spoon in his mouth: "Laksh!"

Laksh started to feel dizzy. He held his head.

Ragini got worried: "Laksh! Lakshhh!!"

He fell down in Ragini's lap.

Ragini: "What happened to you Laksh?!" – But Laksh wasn't giving any response.

Tears started to roll from ragini's eyes and she hugged Laksh tightly: "Laksh please open your eyes!! Yes.. i love you! I love you so much! I can't live without you! Please Laksh..."

Just then she felt Laksh's hands surrounding her body to hug her back. She immediately stood up recomposing and saw Laksh completely fine.

Ragini: "Laksh..."

Laksh stood up smiling: "I was just acting! When you were looking around I removed the ice cream from the spoon! Uff... see what you're making me do just to hear an I love you!"

Ragini angrily yelled at him: "you know what! I hate you!!"

She turned to go but Laksh held her wrist: "Really? Don't you love me?"

Ragini couldn't stop herself. She turned and hugged Laksh tightly hiding herself in his chest: "I love you a lot! You were right... It happened slowly but love happened. If you go away for a moment, it feels like my life has stopped. I'm afraid to lose you..."

Laksh hugged her back very tightly pressing her body against his at her last words: "Nobody can separate us... nobody."

They hugged each other tightly closing their eyes.

Someone was looking at them. It was Durga Parsad who glared at them and gritting his teeth he said: "I'll show your standard Ragini. You've trapped my son but I'll make sure he goes away from you because you don't deserve him."
