Ragini: "Who is Mogambo?"

Laksh was about to say something when suddenly a car stopped in front of them and the headlights dazzled Ragini and Laksh who closed their eyes.

Ragini hid her face in Laksh's chest shrinking herself.

The door of the car got opened and a man came out.

It was Durga Parsad who looked at Ragini and Laksh in rage.

Laksh: "Mogambo Papa..."

Ragini slowly opened her eyes to look on.

Durga Parsad shouted: "Laksh!!! I told you to stay away from this girl or else..."

Laksh ignored him and said to Ragini, who was still in his arms: "I told you Mogambo is such a bad person!"

He made a desperate expression.

Ragini looked at Durga Parsad furrowing her eyebrows and making a pout.

She chuckled: "This Mogambo is bald too."

Durga Parsad was about to say something when another car came there and stopped near them.

Sanskar came out of the car and looked at Laksh and Ragini and then at Durga Parsad who angrily looked at him.

Sanskar: "Sorry Bade Papa... actually they both are drunk..."

Sanskar turned towards Laksh and Ragini: "What are you doing here? I told you not to move!"

Ragini: "Eh Mogambo! I want to go home!" - She raised her hands towards Sanskar like a baby.

Laksh: "I will take you home!"

Durga Parsad: "You aren't conscious too. Sanskar! Go and drop this girl home and Laksh go right now straight inside the car!"

Sanskar went to Laksh who slowly made Ragini stand on her own feet. Sanskar held her by her shoulders and helped her to walk towards the car and then sit inside.

Laksh followed Durga Parsad inside his car grumbling.

LATER

SWARAGINI'S ROOM

Swara and Ragini were sleeping when Sharmishta came inside their room and smiled seeing her daughters.

She went towards Ragini and kissed her forehead caressing her hair. She then went to Swara and planted a kiss on her forehead too and caressed it as well.

Sharmishta: "My swaragini changed a lot but I'm sure their love and care for each other won't ever change."

She smiled and went out of the room.

Swara slowly opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling with teary eyes.

Swara: "I am sorry Maa. Today your Swara didn't do right with your Ragini. I intentionally changed her drink and acted not to be well too. I thought that by doing like this Sanskar will go far from Ragini and closer to me and that's what really happened. Today he cared for me first and left Ragini alone..." – She smiled a bit but slowly her smile disappeared – "I know it's wrong but... my love for Sanskar is forcing me..."

ON THE OTHER HAND

SANSKAR'S ROOM

Sanskar placed his head on Sujata's lap. She caressed his hair.

Sujata: "What happened boy? Why are you looking so worried?"

Sanskar slowly shook his head: "Nothing Mom... just..."

He closed his eyes and recalled Laksh holding Ragini by her wrist and their eye-lock in the disco and then Ragini in Laksh's arms on the road.

Sanskar sat down and placed his head on Sujata's shoulder: "I love her a lot..."

Sujata looked at him surprised: "You are in love and you didn't tell it to your mother?"

Sanskar laughed a bit: "Mom I am in love... she is not..."

Sujata turned serious and held his chin making him look at her: "Who is she?"

Sanskar: "Ragini..."

AT THE SAME TIME

LAKSH'S ROOM

Annapurna was massaging Laksh's head and putting oil on his hair sitting on the bed while he was sitting on the floor.

Annapurna: "Are you ok now? Why did you drink so much Laksh?!"

Laksh recalled Ragini ignoring him and hugging Sanskar.

Laksh: "I'm not ok Maa. It hurts..."

Annapurna looked on sadly.

Laksh: "Ragini is going distant from me Maa and I'm not able to bear this distance. I can't bear this pain anymore..."

He placed his head on Annapurna's leg and closed his eyes while tears skipped out from his eyes.

Laksh: "I love her a lot Maa. How will I bear her hatred? How?"

Annapurna caressed his hair: "True love never loses Laksh. You'll get your Ragini back soon..."

THE NEXT DAY

CLASSROOM

Swara and Ragini were sitting next to each other.

Sanskar and Laksh came inside without even looking at each other and went to sit near their friends.

Both Sanskar and Laksh looked at Ragini who kept talking with Swara without glancing at anyone else.

Just then the teacher came inside and everyone stood up.

Teacher: "So everybody attention please. We are organizing once again a self defence camp. Whoever wants to come, can write their names in the form on the notice-board."

Ragini and Swara looked at each other and then nodded smiling.

AFTER A WHILE

Sanskar wrote his name on the list of the students who want to go to the trip hung on the notice-board.

Also Laksh, after him, did the same.

Just then Ragini and Swara came there. Sanskar and Laksh looked at them.

Ragini smiled a bit: "I wish this camp taught also how to defend ourselves from heartbreakers." - She looked at Laksh who looked away as his eyes welled up a bit.

Swara and Ragini wrote their names on the list and left.

Sanskar looked at Ragini from behind and then at Laksh.

Sanskar: "Didn't you think even once before breaking Ragini's heart and her trust? I'm feeling disgusted Laksh... I feel so angry every time I see you! You are my brother then how can you do this?"

With this he went away while Laksh looked down.

He was hurt but no one could understand him, his feelings. No one knew how he broke his own heart first and then Ragini's one, how he was forced to leave someone who was his life to don't let anyone ruin her life.

He shut his eyes.

AFTER FEW DAYS

Many students were waiting in front of a bus. Sanskar and Laksh were also among them.

Swara and Ragini came there too.

Swara was wearing white leggings which were reaching her knees, a pink top and a violet zipper sweatshirt on it. Ragini was wearing skinny jeans and a black sweatshirt under which it was visible a bit the magenta tank top.

Sanskar and Laksh weren't able to take their eyes off from her, as usual.

Sanskar went towards Swara and Ragini while Laksh stayed with some of his friends keeping to look at Ragini with an eye.

Suddenly the teacher called all the students to her.

Teacher: "So guys... This trip has many activities in it which focus on learning self-defence. Many of the activities will be done in couples, so, as we'll not have much time once we'll reach our spot, the person you'll sit near on the bus, will be your partner during the activities... and to avoid any type of problem, I'll make the couples right now."

And with this she started to take the names of the couple.

Teacher: "Ragini Gadodia... and... Lakshya Maheshwari and finally Swara Gadodia and Sanskar Maheshwari."

All the four looked at her.

Swara smiled and looked at Sanskar but her smile disappeared as Sanskar was looking at Ragini.

Also Laksh looked at Ragini smiling but his smile disappeared too when he noticed Ragini didn't like the fact that she had to stay with him.

Ragini gulped down and went to the teacher: "Mam... Can I exchange my place with Swara or Sanskar?"

Laksh was hurt.

Teacher: "I am sorry Ragini. Rules are rules. You have to share your seat and do all the activities with Laksh."

With this she followed the students on the bus.

Ragini looked at Laksh without any expression on her face.

Sanskar went to Laksh: "I am warning you Mr. Laksh Maheshwari. Don't even dare to hurt Ragini again."

He left Laksh and went on the bus followed by Swara and then Ragini.

Laksh wiped a tear which skipped out through his eye and followed them.

On the bus, all the students were making noise, singing and having fun; all except Ragini, Laksh, Swara and Sanskar.

There was an awkward silence between all of them.

Once they reached the destination, they came out of the bus and the first thing they did was taking a deep breath closing their eyes.

Ragini removed her sweatshirt and tied her hair in a ponytail to be more comfortable.

After setting their camping spot, putting on the tents and bringing the wood, everyone went to the teacher to start the first activity.

The students were standing on the top of a little rock slope and there was a male trainer with them.

Trainer: "So guys, our first activity will be rappelling. It means that you'll have to climb down from here with the support of a rope which will be knotted to a stone. Each couple will go down one by one."

Ragini looked at the valley on the bottom and gulped down getting scared a bit. She made a step back and looked around avoiding to look back at the valley.

Laksh noticed it.

The trainer gave the equipment to everyone and everybody started to get ready.

One by one, the couples started to go down.

Ragini was getting really nervous seeing the others climbing down. She wore the helmet, the gloves and the knee-pads shivering a bit; then she wore the climbing harness and was trying to tie its back-side but she wasn't able to do it as she was trembling.

Laksh saw it and went to her.

Laksh: "Ragini let me help you..."

Ragini was about to say something but Laksh stood behind her and slowly removed her hands from the harness. Ragini closed her eyes at his touch. He tied the harness and while doing this his fingers touched her waist and Ragini felt shivers. Laksh looked at her. Ragini quickly moved away.

After Swara and Sanskar, it was RagLak's turn.

They held the ropes and stood facing the sky and giving the back to the valley. Ragini tighted her grip over her rope and gulped down. She was feeling very scared.

As the trainer gave a sign, Ragini and Laksh started to climb down.

Laksh was easily rappelling since he had already done it before but he was continuously looking at Ragini understanding that she wasn't comfortably doing it.

Suddenly Ragini slipped and screamed losing the ground under her feet and hanging with the rope.

Laksh immediately stopped: "RAGINI!!"

Hearing her name, Swara and Sanskar, who were already down, looked up and got scared seeing Ragini like that.

Swara and Sanskar: "RAGINIIII!!!"

The trainer and all the students looked at her..

Trainer: "Ragini don't move! I'm coming!"

Laksh shouted: "Sir I'll manage!"

Ragini was tightly holding the rope trying to put her feet on the rock again.

Ragini: "I... I'll do it myself." - She was sweating.

Laksh didn't listen to her and moved towards her. He kept holding the rope with a hand and with the other he held Ragini's elbow.

Ragini tried to free herself: "Leave me! I told I'll do it!"

Laksh: "Shut up!" - With this he tightened his grip over her bare elbow and pulled her closer.

Ragini's chest hit Laksh's one while she placed a hand on his shoulder and kept one around the rope. She looked at him with her big eyes. Laksh looked at her too.

"Zindaghi se chura ke
Zindaghi mein basa ke
Zindagani banaya hai tujhe"

Sanskar looked away and Swara placed a hand on his shoulder.

Laksh to Ragini: "Leave the rope and hold me... tightly."

Ragini shook her head looking straight at him.

Laksh shouted a bit: "Ragini!!"

Ragini winced and immediately put both her arms around Laksh's neck holding him tightly..

Laksh smiled a bit and, keeping a hand on the rope, ran the other on her slim waist surrounding it. He pressed his fingers on her belly pulling her closer and held her waist tightly.

Ragini closed her eyes feeling his hands over her as she was just wearing a skinny tank top. Laksh looked at her. The breeze was moving her hair strands. Ragini slowly opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Roothe rab ko mana ke
Aasmaan ko jhuka ke
Zindagani banaya hai tujhe"

Suddenly Laksh finally moved and started climbing down. Ragini closed her eyes again as she returned in reality and was scared. She held Laksh's neck from its back tightly. Their bodies were pressed against each other.

"Tu mila jis tarah saba mile
Tu mila jis tarah sila mile
Tu mila jis tarah duaa mile... Bakhuda"

They were close to each other after ages. Laksh could understand the many feelings he had in his heart. Having Ragini in his embrace was the most beautiful feeling in the world for Laksh. Ragini had mixed feelings. Right now her love towards Laksh was stronger than her hatred.

"Tu mila toh jaise main jee gaya
Tu mila mukammal main ho gaya
Tu mila toh phaila hai noor sa.. bakhuda"

Ragini and Laksh finally came in the valley and among the claps of everyone, they returned in the reality.

Ragini pushed Laksh a bit and went away from him.

Swara and Sanskar rushed to her.

Sanskar: "Ragini are you ok?"

Ragini nodded silently looking down.

Swara gave her a bottle of water.

Swara: "I am sorry... I forgot that you are scared of height. I would have told it to the trainer."

Ragini smiled at her: "Swara don't worry, I'm fine."

She looked at Laksh who smiled. Ragini looked away.

AFTER A WHILE

It was time for the second activity. It was a race where each of the students had to run with the foot tied to the foot of the partner by a little rope.

All the couples took their position on the starting line and as the trainer shouted "Go", they started to run.

Ragini and Laksh both were good in running so were ahead and also Sanskar and Swara were just beside them.

Ragini, while running: "I'll be really happy if you win the race Laksh."

A little smile appeared on Laksh's face and he looked at Ragini.

Ragini didn't look at him and kept running: "Because if you win then I'll win too. And I don't like losing at all. So please focus on the race."

Laksh shook his head keeping to run. She was changed so much.

Suddenly, by mistake, Laksh hit Sanskar's shoulder. He slipped and fell down dragging Swara on the ground too.

Ragini: "Sanskar! Swara!"

She immediately stopped running and untied her foot from Laksh's one. Laksh rushed towards Sanskar and Swara too.

Laksh: "Bhai I'm so sorry! By mistake..."

He was about to put a hand on his shoulder but Sanskar jerked it away.

Sanskar shouted: "By mistake, by mistake! How many mistakes will you make Laksh? Cheating is your habit but please leave this habit at least once!"

He untied his foot from Swara's one and helped her to get up. Swara's arm had a scratch on it. Ragini immediately rushed to her seeing she was hurt.

Ragini: "Swara you got hurt!"

Laksh: "Bhai I really didn't do it intentionally! It was just a mistake!"

But Sanskar ignored him and went to Swara. He held her by her shoulder and helped her to walk away from there.

Ragini looked at Laksh: "You are disgusting!"

Laksh: "Ragini trust me I didn't..."

But Ragini went away too and Laksh looked down hurt.

Sanskar brought Swara in the tent and Ragini came there too.

Sanskar made Swara sit down and wrapped a hanky around her arm. Swara hissed a bit.

Sanskar: "Does it pain a lot? Shall I call Sir?"

Swara: "No no it's ok..." - She smiled.

She was happy to see Sanskar's concern for her.

Ragini: "I am sorry Swara. Maybe it was my fault... I was telling him to win only..."

Swara: "Ragini forget it na! And... I don't think Laksh did it intentionally."

Ragini and Sanskar looked at her.

Ragini looked down and went out of the tent.

Sanskar was about to go behind her when Swara stopped him.

Swara: "Sanskar!"

Sanskar looked at her: "What happened Swara? Are you ok?"

Swara: "Sanskar i know you... you love Ragini but Laksh is your brother. How can you behave with him like this just because Ragini might still be in love with Laksh? I don't feel it's right."

Sanskar: "It's not about that Swara. It's about what he did with Ragini..."

Swara: "He's feeling guilty now maybe..."

Sanskar sighed: "I don't know Swara... but whenever Ragini goes close to him I get angry... I just can't bear it."

Swara smiled: "I can understand how you must be feeling. It isn't easy to see your love with someone else."

Sanskar looked down nodding: "Anyway... take rest. I must leave now."

Swara nodded and with this Sanskar went away while Swara looked at him from behind.

MEANWHILE

Ragini was walking near the camping spot thinking about Laksh and Swara's words.

Suddenly someone placed a bouquet of flowers in front of her. Ragini turned and saw Sanskar there.

She smiled.

Ragini: "You always know when and how to cheer me up. From where did you get these?"

Sanskar: "Look around when you'll be free from Laksh's thoughts... and you will realize there are flowers all over here."

Ragini looked around and smiled as he was right.

Ragini and Sanskar sat down on the grass merging their backs against a tree and looked at the sunset together.

Ragini: "Life has changed a lot suddenly. The laughter stops before coming on the lips, happiness changes its way before reaching the heart. I don't know what has happened since the last few days... eyes are always moist only..."

Sanskar looked at her: "Life hasn't changed Ragini, you have changed." – He looked on – "Isn't this sunset beautiful enough to make you smile?"

Ragini looked at the sky and smiled but her eyes welled up.

"Meri raahon mai pade
Tere peroon ke nishaan
Ne kahaan.. ne kahaan.."
("The marks of your steps that fell in my path
Said this...")

Camera rounded around the tree against which Ragini and Sanskar were sitting. There was Laksh standing with the back merged against the other side of the tree. He shut his eyes as they welled up with tears.

"Teri saanson se judi
Meri saansoon ki wafaa
Ne kahaan.. ne kahaan.."
("The faith that holds our breaths together
Said this...")

Swara peeked out from the tree in front of Ragini and Sanskar and looked at them and a tear skipped through her eye.

"Ghirte in aansuoon mai
Kuch to tujhsa laghe hai.. "
("I feel as you're part a part of these falling teardrops...")

Sanskar slowly looked at Ragini with teary eyes.

"In aashqoon mai mein na khota.."
("I wouldn't have been lost in these tears...")

The screen freezed in four showing Ragini, Laksh, Sanskar and Swara.

"Agar tu hota.. na rote ham..
Agar tu hota.. na rote ham.."
("If you were with me, I wouldn't cry...")

LATER

All the students were sitting around the fire. Some were singing, few were playing a musical instrument and others were just enjoying the breeze of the night.

Swara, Ragini and Sanskar were sitting together while Laksh was sitting on the other side, in front of them.

Ragini shivered a bit feeling cold so Sanskar removed his jacket and covered her with it. Ragini smiled at him.

Laksh looked at them and clenched a fist.

Swara felt uncomfortable and just went to sit on the other side, a bit near Laksh. Sanskar looked at her and furrowed his eyebrows.

Guy: "Guys let's play a game!"

Girl: "What game?"

Guy: "So... each of us will get a glass with water or juice, we have everything here. And I'll say something I did. Whoever has done it as well, will take a sip of the drink and, who hasn't done it, will have to say a truth about himself or herself or accept a dare."

Girl: "Seems interesting! Let's play!"

And with this few students gave a glass of drink to everyone. Then the guy started the game.

Guy: "I drank so much in a party that I wasn't conscious of what was I doing! I still can't remember what happened that night!"

Sanskar and Laksh took a sip of their drinks.

Sanskar looked at Ragini and smiled: "You have also drunk in that party! Take a sip senorita!"

Ragini: "I was conscious, ok? I still remember what happened that night. I..." - she stopped realizing she didn't remember anything.

Sanskar chuckled: "See!"

Ragini slapped him on the shoulder playfully and took a sip of her drink.

Ragini: "When did this happen with you?"

Sanskar: "Last year in a birthday party of a friend. I and Laksh drank so much and our friends took our pictures while we were drunk. Still when I see those pictures I get shocked and wonder if it's really me and Laksh in those pictures! I had lipstick on my lips and Laksh" – He laughed – "He was wearing a saree!"

Laksh looked at him and chuckled remembering the moment.

Sanskar realized that he was talking about Laksh and stopped laughing looking down.

Laksh looked at Swara who didn't take the sip.

Laksh: "Nothing like this happened with you?"

Swara shook her head. The guy who started the game saw her and went towards her.

Guy: "So Swara... Truth or dare?"

Swara: "Truth."

The guy thought a bit and then asked her: "When do you get angry the most?"

Swara looked at Ragini and Sanskar.

Swara: "When I like something but someone else gets it."

Guy: "Okkk!! So let's move to the second round... I... I fell in love with someone."

Ragini and Laksh looked at each other.

Ragini took the sip. Laksh did the same thing.

Ragini furrowed her eyebrows and recalled Laksh saying her that he doesn't love her.

Ragini: "If he doesn't love me then why did he..." – She looked at him – "Who..." – She looked away.

Sanskar: "Did you say something?"

Ragini shook her head but just then saw Sanskar taking the sip.

Ragini: "WHAT? You love someone and you never told me?!"

Sanskar smiled a bit: "I'll surely tell you if the right moment comes!"

He saw Swara taking the sip too and said a bit loudly so Swara could hear him: "Swara?! You didn't tell us anything!"

Swara smiled a bit as well: "I'll surely tell you if the right moment comes..."

The guy chuckled: "Well... I also cheated on her!"

Some students laughed.

Ragini gritted her teeth and looked at Laksh again. He tightened his grip over the glass he was holding.

Sanskar and Swara looked at Laksh too but he didn't take the sip.

Ragini angrily stood up and was about to go when the guy stopped her.

Guy: "Hey Ragini! You have to choose... truth or dare?"

Ragini was giving her back to him and the others.

Ragini: "Dare."

Guy: "Hmmm... then... Ragini you sipped before right? It means you loved someone! Sing a song for that lucky guy! Come on!"

Ragini closed her eyes. Everyone looked at her.

Ragini:

"Paao ko the mile, zameen ki tarah..."
("You were like the ground for my feet...")

She recalled Laksh holding her by the waist before she could fall, once.

"Aankhoon mai kyu huwe... nami ki tarah..."
("Then why did you become the wetness in my eyes...")

She then recalled Laksh pushing her away when she was about to touch him.

"Dil ko tum kehte the.. khuda ka hai ghar..."
("You called my heart as the abode of God...")

A flash of Laksh saying her that he loves her came in her mind.

"Chorke kyu gaye, ajnabee ki tarah..."
("Then why did you leave it like a stranger...")

She recalled Laksh saying that he just pretended to be in love with her.

She opened her eyes. They were teary.

Laksh's eyes welled up too.

Ragini went away in her tent followed by Swara. Laksh and Sanskar got up and went in their respective tents too.

THE NEXT DAY

The students were standing at the bottom of a slope.

Trainer: "Yesterday we did rappelling; now we have to do the opposite. Rock climbing! And this is an individual activity. I guess I don't have to explain too much. Wear the equipment and start climbing towards the top."

Swara to Ragini: "Ragini you're scared of height and I'm a disaster in this one. Let's do it together?"

Ragini gave her a hi-five: "Together as usual!"

They smiled.

Everyone wore the equipment and took the position. As the trainer signed them to start, the students started to climb.

Swara and Ragini were climbing slowly and paying much attention and at the same time, Laksh and Sanskar were ahead of everyone.

It was easy for them but slowly they took it like a challenge. Sanskar wanted to overcome Laksh and viceversa.

But instead, they eventually reached the top together.

As they came on the top of the rock and stood there, they looked around.

Suddenly Laksh slipped and faltered as his foot was on the edge.

Laksh shouted: "BHAII!"

Sanskar immediately turned towards him and saw he was about to fall down. His breath almost stopped seeing Laksh like that but he quickly held his hand and pulled him.

Laksh was panting as he got scared.

Laksh: "Thank you Bhai! Hadn't you been there..."

Sanskar: "Please stop it Laksh! I'm not like you. You did very wrong with Ragini... but you are my brother." – He looked at him – "I always stood by you and supported you in whatever you did even if it was wrong. I was your partner in crime. But I don't know why Laksh... since you have broken Ragini's heart... I'm feeling like breaking your every bone! Seriously tell me Laksh what were you thinking when you made a joke out of her feelings? OUR feelings? We were damn scared when you left us! We were all so upset! Tell me what went through that bloody brain of yours?!"

Laksh had enough now.

He shouted: "I didn't make a joke out of anything! ENOUGH BHAI! I'm listening to your taunts since so many days but now I have had enough Bhai! You always stood by me right? Because nobody understand me better than you! Then why didn't you get my intention behind whatever I did with Ragini? Why everybody can see Ragini's pain but not my sacrifice? You know me so well, don't you? Why couldn't you see my eyes getting teary seeing Ragini in pain? Do you want to break my bones? Do you want to beat me? Do it then! Do it!"

Sanskar: "Stop saying rubbish Laksh. Stop doing drama."

Laksh: "Drama is what happened with me. Rubbish is what Papa said about Ragini mentioning that she belongs to middle class family so she isn't of my standard. My own father turned my life into hell asking me to stay away from my love, my lifeline... my Ragini... or else..." – He gulped down and a tear skipped on his chek – "He would have ruined Ragini and her family's life. He would have snatched their everything..."

Sanskar looked at him shocked. He was about to say something when...

"WHAT?!"

Sanskar and Laksh turned around just to see a shocked Ragini and Swara standing in front of them.

Ragini was straightly looking at Laksh stunned.
