The hall was decorated in a dreamy way. The crystal chandeliers and crystal vases with flowers gave an aesthetic touch. Everybody was dressed up elegantly and it looked no less than a royal function.

Sanskar slowly took Ragini down from a stair enlightened with light nets and scented by white roses, softly holding her hand, walking one step ahead of her who had nothing to envy from princesses since she looked like one in her red bridal dress embroidered with golden work.

Ragini and Sanskar were looking at each other smiling while walking downstairs.

"Sacchi mohabbat shayad wohi hai
Jisme junoon hai, Jisme junoon hai..."
("The true love is probably that
where there is passion, a lot of passion.")

They reminisced the moments they spent together: their laughters, their hi-fives, their conversations, their hugs... their friendship.

"Par do dilon ki yaari mai bhi toh
Kitna sukoon hai, Kitna sukoon hai..."
("But even in the friendship of two hearts
There is so much peace, so much of peace...")

Just then Ragini shifted her gaze and looked ahead. She smiled even more as her heart got filled with more happiness and that was visible in her eyes. As she broke the eye contact, also Sanskar looked ahead. He smiled as a guy turned around towards them. It was Laksh: the groom to that bride, the prince charming to that princess.

Ragini and Sanskar stepped down from the last stair and walked towards Laksh. That's when Sanskar placed Ragini's hand in Laksh's one. Both of them smiled looking at each other. Ragini looked down blushing a bit.

"Deke mujhe teri judaai,
Maana Rab ne mujhe paigham diya..."
("That's my God's message to me,
that He conveyed to me through our separation)

Sanskar knew that it was time: time to forget the past and cherish a new beginning, time to fade his love away and let her stay in his heart forever but just as his best friend, as the most precious person in his life. Coz... can't friendship, being the purest relation among all, be also the most important one for somebody? For Sanskar it was, it is and it will always be so.

He looked at Ragini and Laksh walking towards the mandap and felt genuinely content for them.

"Channa mereya mereya
Channa mereya mereya
Channa mereye mereya, beliya... o piya..."

Just then Riya came and stood beside Sanskar. She placed a hand on his shoulder.

Riya: "Don't you still regret having lied that day? The reality could have been something else."

Sanskar: "I have never lied, just hidden a truth that is better unrevealed. And believe me Riya... there couldn't be a better reality than this dream coming true."

FLASHBACK

Ragini came in Sanskar's ward. Sujata was beside her. Sanskar and Riya saw them.

Sanskar: "Ragini? You really came?"

Ragini, who had no expression on her face, looked at Sujata who begged her with her eyes.

Ragini went to Sanskar and sat near her. She looked at Riya who understood that she wanted to talk with Sanskar alone.

Riya: "You guys talk, Sujata aunty and I shall go and complete the formalities."

And with that she and Sujata went out of the ward. Ragini and Sanskar were now left alone.

Ragini: "Is it hurting?" – She said indicating his injury on the head.

Sanskar: "Not much..." – He said touching it.

Ragini: "How did the accident happen?"

Sanskar: "I just got distracted a bit while driving..."

Ragini: "Why? What were you thinking about?"

Sanskar: "I.. I... nothing... just..."

Ragini: "Ok just leave it. Thank God you're fine. But I'm really upset with you, why did you leave suddenly?!"

Sanskar: "Why are you asking so many questions Ragini? If there is something, just tell me directly na."

Ragini: "Shall I?"

Sanskar: "Of course."

Ragini: "Ok then..." – She took a deep breath – "Is it true that you... love me?"

Sanskar was taken aback by the question.

Sanskar: "R... Ragini... what... I... who told you this?"

Ragini: "Sujata aunty just told me... Please Sanskar, don't lie. Tell me what the truth is?"

Sanskar gulped down. He looked at her and could see restiveness in her eyes.

Just then Sanskar busted out laughing. Ragini looked at him confused: "You're laughing?!"

Sanskar: "Should I not? Ragini! Mom might have taken the drama we did of loving each other seriously." – He held her hand – "We're best friends and all that matters for me is our friendship. You stupid!" – He laughed.

A smile appeared on Ragini's face and she immediately hugged him: "You have no idea how was I feeling! Thank God it was all a misunderstanding or else it would have been such a mess!!"

Sanskar slowly stopped laughing while hugging her back: "Yeah..."

Sujata and Riya looked at him from the door. Sanskar looked back at them and slightly shook his head.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Sanskar sighed: "It was the right thing to do." – He looked at Riya and smiled – "Time to move on." – Riya smiled back at him and both looked at Ragini and Laksh.

Ragini and Laksh were living their most special day. They sat on the mandap and the pandit started to read the mantra for marriage rituals. Shekhar did the gathbandan.

"Maujza tu kardiya
Yun mere khuda
Rabta tu ghaib se
Yun karde khuda"

Ragini and Laksh looked at each other as they were getting bound in an eternal relation. There was love for each other and joy in their eyes.

"Mera ashiyaan hai ishq mein
Uss paak ishq mein"

They stood up for the seven vows. Before starting to walk, Laksh held Ragini's hand. And while they took the vows everybody threw

"Rang dey rang dey
Mere meherma mujhe rang dey"

Once completed the vows, they proceeded with the maang filling. Ragini closed her eyes when Laksh's hand touched her forehead while applying the vermillion but as soon as it was done, she slowly lifted her gaze to look into Laksh's eyes. He looked down at her too.

"Maula mere ikk ilteza hai yeh
Noor se mera didaar karde
Rehmaton ki baarish ab yun barse..."

And finally by making her wear the mangalsutra, Laksh made Ragini his forever.

"Noor se mujhko rang dena tum
Mere maula..."

ONE YEAR LATER

Whereas the stars of the sky were shining in the darkness, the brightest stars of the Indian music industry were getting their recognition in the International Indian Music Academy Awards held in Andheri that night.

"And the award for Best Singer Male goes to... Mr. Lakshya Maheshwari!"

The crowd busted out in a clamorous applause as Laksh stepped on the huge stage under the spotlight looking super dashing and elegant in a black suit.

Laksh was really overwhelmed while receiving the award and his face was glowing with happiness. The host gave him the mike.

Laksh: "I don't really know what to say because one year ago I had not even dreamed about being a singer and today I'm here. Once I had no goal in my life. A career wasn't even the last of my thought, I didn't use to think about it at all. But then... she came in my life." – He pointed his finger towards the first row of the seats where Ragini was sitting and admiring his man getting all the success he deserved. Her happiness knew no limit and her smile was literally reaching her eyes. As Laksh indicated her, she covered her face with both her hands and then laughed. People around whistled and shouted for them. Laksh smiled and continued his speech – "She is the woman who is the reason of my happiness, success. I am who I am because of her. Hadn't she come in my life I would have been no one while today I am recognized by so many people. Once I fell for her, her love was everything I wanted; I didn't care about anything else but she... she not only cared about our love but also my happiness, my career, she gave importance to every little detail of our life. So... just thank you for everything you've done for me, for bearing me, for being with me, for being mine."

Ragini sent him a flying kiss while everybody clapped.

Laksh was about to leave the stage with his award but the host stopped him: "Would you like to present our next award Laksh?"

Laksh: "Sure, why not."

With that the host gave him an envelope.

Laksh: "So... the award for Best singer female goes to..." – Everybody looked on. Laksh smiled – "Mrs. Ragini Lakshya Maheshwari."

A huge round of applause welcomed Ragini on the stage. She was looking gorgeous in a black gown. She went to Laksh who, after handing her the award, hugged her tightly.

Laksh: "Congratulations Mrs. Ragini Laksh Maheshwari." – He whispered in her ear.

Ragini: "To you too Mr. Laksh Ragini Gadodia." – She whispered back.

They chuckled and broke the hug.

Host: "So how do you feel Ragini? You both started your career with a duet song which hit more than 200M views on youtube and after that you guys gave some of the most loved songs of the year. People are not only fans of Ragini and Laksh's voice but they also ship you both as RagLak. Anything to say?"

Ragini: "I just feel like I'm the luckiest and happiest person of this world right now. Life gave me everything I have always wished for and I can't ask for anything else now. I'm just really blessed and can't ever be grateful enough for the love our fans showered on us in such a short time."

Laksh cleared his throat: "Something about your husband please."

Everybody laughed.

Ragini giggled: "Everything would have been incomplete without you Laksh. Thank you for giving me the love I thought exists only in books and movies."

People clapped while she covered her face with a hand blushing hard. Laksh chuckled and gave her a side hug.

Host: "Alright! Now we can't let you guys leave without listening from you the song that introduced you to us!"

As soon as he said, the crowd started cheering for Ragini and Laksh.

Ragini: "Ok so there are few lines which I would like to dedicate to my... beloved husband."

She looked at Laksh and sang:

"Jis pal tu saath mere, us pal mai zindagi hai...
Tujhe paake paaya sab kuch, koi khwahish abh nahi hai..."
("Life exists only in those moments when you're with me,
After attaining you, I've achieved everything, there is no desire left now.")

Laksh held her hand and knelt down in front of her.

Laksh: "Hmm... mein to tujhse hi bana hoon..."
(I'm only made up of you)

He stood up and placed a hand on her cheek: "Tere bin mein bewajah hoon" (Without you my existence is worthless)

He held her hand again and twirled her: "Mera mujh mai kuch nahi hai" (nothing inside belongs to me anymore)

And finally Laksh made her half fall in his arms while everybody adored them.

Laksh: "Sab tera, sab tera, sab tera..." (Everything is yours...)

Laksh and Ragini were lost in a eyelock but the sound of claps made them return in the reality. They recomposed and after thanking everybody they left the stage.

While leaving Ragini said to Laksh: "We shall leave from here asap Laksh. Sanskar, Riya, Swara and Hardik must be waiting for us. They'll kill us if we reach once the event ends."

Laksh nodded.

AFTER A WHILE

Laksh and Ragini sneaked into a hall where there were already many people dressed up very elegantly sitting in front of a stage. Laksh and Ragini took their place near Shekhar and Sharmishta who gave them blessings but didn't let anybody know about their arrival as Ragini and Laksh indicated them to stay silent.

Someone from the stage said: "And we are pleased to announce that The Fashion Award for the Business Leader of The Year goes to..." – Laksh crossed her fingers while Ragini held his hand – "A company that has overseen both creative and commercial success in just few months thanks to the capability of its owners. A big round of applause for the CEOs of M&S Enterprises aka Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari and Mr. Hardik Singhania!"

Big smiles appeared on Ragini and Laksh's faces and they clapped hard for their friends.

Ragini whistled and just then Sanskar, who had just stood up, turned around and the corner of his mouth turned up seeing Laksh and Ragini there. All his nervousness faded away and he confidently followed Hardik on the stage to receive their award.

Host: "So Mr. Maheshwari and Mr. Singhania, how did you manage to make your company such a huge success in such a short period?"

Hardik: "The main reason of the success of our company is surely our partnership. Sanskar and I are best friends since childhood so we share a great understanding also in professional terms. When he talked with me about this project and all the business strategies he had in mind I didn't think twice before accepting. We obviously started with the idea of entering in the fashion industry and making our name but we are glad that the results even outmatched our expectations! We are overwhelmed with the success our company has gained and I give the merit of this to us, obviously..." – He indicated Sanskar and himself – "When two great minds, especially an intelligent and composed one like Sanskar's, come together great things are meant to happen, modestly." – He chuckled while Sanskar shook his head smiling – "There is another person who deserves to be mentioned since she is not only a big part of my life, the most important one actually, but also one of the main contributors in our company's success. No wonder she just won the Emerging Talent title tonight. Yes, I'm talking about our designer and my beloved wife Swara Singhania!"

Host: "Please come on stage Swara!"

Ragini hit her forehead with her palm hearing that and seeing Swara walking on the stage holding her award.

Ragini: "She's gonna kill me for not being on time to see her receiving the award! I thought I didn't miss it but... offo!"

Laksh: "Don't worry Ragini, I'm sure she'll be too happy seeing your award and won't be upset!"

Ragini: "Hope so."

Swara: "Actually I've already dedicated my award to Hardik and I don't think I deserve any credit from him because honestly wasn't it for him I would have not even been in the fashion industry. I'm truly blessed to have Hardik as my life partner. He is so sorted while I'm a mess. You know that point of your life when you are confused about what you feel and what you want... he got me out of that confusion. I needed someone who considered me as his priority and Hardik gave me that importance in his life. I always had a passion for fashion designing... in fact in school and college whenever there was a play, others preferred to act while I wanted to work on costumes... but when my sister took the music path, I followed her. But honestly that was not the world I belonged to. It was Hardik who took me on right path, noticed my passion for fashion designing before even I could understand that this is the career for me and gave me love, support and a platform to this passion of mine. So... thank you Hardik for coming in my life and enlightening it with happiness fulfilling all my wishes." – She looked at Hardik with love and gratitude and he looked back at her with the same amount of love.

FLASHBACK

Hardik opened a door and invited Swara to come inside.

Hardik: "And this is my office. I wanted you to be the first one to come here."

Swara: "Wow Hardik this is just amazing!"

She looked around and her eyes went on a file placed on the desk. She grabbed it and started to browse inside it.

Hardik: "These are few of the designs of our clothes. Do you like them?"

Swara: "Yeah... they are nice. They can be better though."

Hardik: "How?"

Swara sat down and grabbed a pencil. She started modifying the designs and explaining Hardik how they can be turned better. Hardik listened to her carefully admiring her skills.

After a while she placed the pencil down and said: "See. Don't you think these are far better?"

Hardik: "These are so nice that I'm wondering why you hadn't told me about this talent of yours yet."

Swara: "Talent? No Hardik nothing like that..."

Hardik: "Come on Swara! In fact... why don't you join our designers team? Please don't say no, we really need a talent like yours plus it would be a good opportunity for you too!"

Swara: "I like fashion designing but I never thought about it as a profession. Plus you know na Hardik that Ragini has talked with that record company... How can I back off?"

Hardik: "It's your life Swara... music or fashion industry... you have the opportunity to choose so just listen to your heart and make your choice..."

Swara thought about it: "If I choose to work with you... I'll have to talk with Ragini and the owner of the record company..."

Hardik: "We'll handle that together. Just tell me..." – He held her hands – "Do you really want to work with me in the fashion house na?"

Swara looked at him and nodded.

Hardik hugged her excitedly: "You don't know how happy I am Swara! We'll be working together, can you believe that!"

Swara hugged him back.

Hardik: "Swara?"

Swara: "Hmm?"

Hardik: "You asked me to prove my love for you by not interfering in Ragini, Laksh and Sanskar's life and I did that... did I convince you that you are my priority?"

Swara broke the hug and looked at him: "Why this sudden question?"

Hardik: "Coz there is another question I want to ask you..."

Swara: "What?"

Hardik: "Will you marry me?"

Swara's eyes widened at first then slowly a huge smile appeared on her face and she threw herself in Hardik's arms: "Of course I will Hardik!"

FLASHBACK ENDS

Hardik and Swara smiled recalling those moments. The sound of claps made them return into reality.

Hardik returned to talk: "But credits goes also to another sharp brain who is brilliant enough to give a huge contribution in the marketing department but also talented enough to guide the creative sector. I am talking about my dear sister Riya Singhania whom I would like to call on stage!"

Sanskar's eyes lightened hearing Riya's name and he himself went down to take Riya on the stage holding her hand.

Everybody clapped as they came on the stage and Riya stood between Sanskar and Hardik after side hugging the latter.

Riya: "I'm honored to work in this company with a bunch of talented people. I think we shall also thank our parents because they trusted us so much and let us start our own business which is completely in a different industry from the one in which they work. We are young and they knew that we could do many mistakes but still they have always been there to support us." – Sujata, Ram Parsad, Harshad and Parineeta were sitting in the first row and smiled proudly – "Not everybody is lucky to get their parents support like us."

Laksh's smile became smaller hearing that. Riya had no intention of hurting him but her words affected him and Ragini had understood that so she placed a hand on his shoulder. Laksh looked at her and shook his head asking her not to spoil her mood.

Riya: "I'm happy and lucky that I got to work with my own brother and my best friend." – She completed looking first at Hardik and then at Sanskar.

Host: "What about you Sanskar, have you anything to say?"

Sanskar: "I thought these three have such long speeches that I won't get the chance, especially Riya once she starts blabbering she doesn't stop." – Everybody laughed while Riya punched his shoulder.

Sanskar: "So obviously thank you Hardik for being such an amazing partner, in fact when I first got the idea of the business I knew I could count on you and immediately called you. Thank you Riya for being the best part of our business. Thank you Swara and thank you Mom, Dad, Parineeta aunty and Harshad Uncle." – He repeated what others had said - "But actually there are two more people who are really important in my life and I would like to thank them for always supporting and encouraging me and I'm glad they could take some time out of their busy schedule and be here today with me...." – He indicated Ragini and Laksh – "My best friend Ragini and my brother Laksh."

Everybody looked at Ragini and Laksh as Sanskar took their names. Someone gave a mike to Ragini and Laksh.

Laksh: "Honestly it's Sanskar who has done a lot for us and we can never thank him enough for that."

Ragini: "Can you all stop being so formal please?"

All laughed.

Host: "Mr. Sanskar, Riya said you are his best friend and now you mentioned that Ragini is your best friend. What if we ask you to tell us who are you closer to?"

Sanskar: "Obviously Ragini is my best friend."

Riya gave a quick smile but her heart pinched a bit.

Sanskar: "I don't know if Riya just considers me as friend or wants to be my wife." – He said that like it was the most casual thing possible.

Riya's eyes literally went round as she couldn't believe what she heard. Ragini's mouth fell open while Sujata literally stood up from her seat.

Ram pulled her down: "Let her say yes first!"

Laksh: "Oh God, I so knew it!"

Host: "Oh my God! Did you just propose Riya?!"

Sanskar: "Seems like I have to do it in the typical way..." – Saying that he knelt down in front of Riya after taking out a ring from his pocket – "Will you marry me Riya?"

Riya was so overwhelmed that all she could do is nod in a yes with teary eyes. Sanskar made her wear the ring and then stood up hugging her tightly.

Everybody clapped for the couple. Ragini, Laksh, Sujata, Ram Parsad, Parineeta and Harshad went on the stage to congratulate them.

LATER

Everybody was leaving the venue. Ragini was meeting Sharmishta, Shekhar and Swara.

Ragini hugged Swara: "I'm so sorry! I wish I could have been there when you received your award!"

Swara: "It's totally fine Ragini! What about you?"

Ragini: "Guess who got the best singer award tonight?!"

Swara: "Oh Gosh Ragini I'm so happy for you!"

Ragini: "Also laksh got the best singer male award. Thank you so much Swara, you know it wouldn't have been possible if..."

Swara: "If I had not chosen to work with Hardik instead of doing that music video with you? What's the need of thanks here? When Mr. Ahuja told us that he wanted to offer you and Laksh a music video together I was actually happy not only for both of you but also coz it made things easier for me. So no need of thanks at all, ok?! Let's just cherish our victories!"

Ragini nodded smiling: "You're right."

On the other hand Laksh was with Riya and Sanskar.

Laksh: "I'm really happy for you guys! So all the glares Sanskar used to throw at me when I called Riya as Bhabhi was just drama, wasn't it Bhai?"

Sanskar laughed: "Kind of."

Ragini came to them: "My best friend is going to marry. I still can't believe that! Congratulations once again you both!"

She hugged Riya: "You have no idea how lucky you are to get someone like Sanskar!"

Riya smiled: "I know. Thank you so much Ragini!" – She said hugging her back.

Sanskar: "I've always said Riya has better taste and luck than you!"

Laksh: "What do you mean?! Ragini has me so she has both taste and luck, got it?!"

Riya: "Shut up! You both are lucky to have us, right Ragini?"

Ragini: "Exactly!" – The two exchanged a Hi5.

Sanskar: "Shouldn't you be in my team Ragini being my best friend?!"

Ragini: "I'm your best friend but I'm a woman first so girls team forever!"

All laughed together.

AFTER A WHILE

Ragini and Laksh entered in their house.

Ragini twirled on herself: "Laksh you have no idea how happy I am today!"

Laksh held her wrist and pulled her closer: "Actually I do since I share the same happiness." – He showed her his award.

Ragini smiled and showed the award she was holding and they did kinda a toast with their prizes. They laughed and placed the awards on the table as Laksh engulfed Ragini in his arms and Ragini surrounded him back with hers placing her face on his chest and feeling the warmth of his body. There was hardly a space for the air to pass between the two as they enjoyed each other's closeness closing their eyes.

Ragini: "I'm really happy for Sanskar and Riya too."

Laksh: "Me too..."

MEANWHILE

It was dark outside and Sanskar and Riya were walking hand in hand under the moon.

Riya: "So have you finally moved on?"

Sanskar: "Someone told me to let time heal every wound and to give a second chance to love and life and I thought to listen to that silly girl."

Riya: "Oh really? Who is that silly girl?"

Sanskar stopped walking and looked at her. He cupped her face and said: "The same girl who after a little accident of mine took care of me like I was five years old; the same girl who stood with me during the hardest of time for me; the same girl who doesn't let worries or sadness come near me as just her presence in somebody's life is enough to fill it with happiness; the same girl who taught me to live and love again when I had left all the hopes; the same girl who I want to be my companion for a lifetime now..."

Touched by his words, Riya hugged him tightly and Sanskar hugged her back planting a kiss on her head.

"Jaise Koi Kinaara deta ho sahara
Mujhe Wo Mila Kisi Mod Par...
Koi Raat Ka Taara karta Ho Ujaala
Waise Hi Roshan Kare Woh Shehar..."

ON THE OTHER HAND

Ragini came out of the washroom wearing a white spaghetti straps nightgown but was confused seeing that there was darkness all over.

Ragini: "Laksh? Where are you Laksh? Why there is so much darkness here?"

Suddenly lights were switched on and Ragini was left surprised as whole the room was decorated with red rose petals and lights.

Ragini was looking at all that when Laksh, who was in tank top and pajama, surrounded her belly with a hand and pulled her behind making her back dash into his chest.

He nuzzled tracing her neck with his nose while caressing her bare arm with the other hand and she closed her eyes at the closeness.

Ragini: "What is this sudden surprise for?"

Laksh: "Just a little celebration for all the happiness we got in our life." - Saying that he made her turn around.

Ragini placed her hands on his chest while Laksh surrounded her waist with an arm and placed his hand on her cheek. He run his fingers in between her open hair and moved her face closer to her while she closed her eyes.

"Tu jo mila sab mil gaya..."

Laksh placed his lips an inch closer to Ragini's lips. Very slowly and very gently he moved towards her lips capturing them into a passionate kiss. He pulled Ragini closer and he could feel her every curve as their bodies pressed together.

"Dil ki namaazein jaake
pahunchi falak se aage
to jaake paaya tujhko
mere rehnuma"

Ragini broke the liplock and turned around shying but before she could leave Laksh held her wrist. He pulled her behind pinning her against a wall and blocking her way placing a hand on the wall upon her shoulder. He looked straight into her eyes and she got lost in that passion-filled gaze. Laksh entangled their fingers in a tight grip and slowly raised their hands upwards running them on the wall while coming closer to Ragini's face at the same time.

"Mujhko mera rab mil gaya..."

Laksh came closer to her ear: "You are beautiful..." – He whispered and planted a kiss there making Ragini flinch.

Laksh tilted his head placing his lips on her neck and as soon as he did that Ragini made a fist of the hand he wasn't holding behind his muscular back clutching on his tank top. Laksh planted a row of wet kisses on her neck and she tightened the grip over his tank top.

"Baahon se aage teri
duniya nahi hai meri
rakh le mujhko yahin
mere rehnuma"

As Ragini was clutching on his tank top, Laksh smiled amused and, while still keeping his face close to her neck, said: "Ragini I'll remove the tank top by myself, no need of holding it so tightly to tear it!"

Ragini's cheeks turned red and she slightly pushed laksh away but he again held her wrist and pulled her closer making her dash against his chest. He lowered a strap of her nightgown down and planted a kiss on her bare back making her wince as she turned around and threw her arms around Laksh's body.

"Jo naa bhaaye, teri nazar ko
dekhoongi naa main phir wo nazara..."

Laksh bent a little and lifted Ragini in his arms totally taking the earth beneath her feet. He carried her towards their bed not removing his eyes from her face.

"Tu jo mile to, chhod doon khud ko
tujh mein kaheen hai mera kinara..."

Laksh ever so gently placed Ragini on the bed and then came over her.

"Bas tu hi tu mujhe yaad hai..."

And he switched off the lights as he moved closer to her.

THE NEXT DAY

A ray of sun entered in RagLak's room awaking Laksh. He moved his hand on the bed before realizing that there was no one beside him. He opened his eyes and looked at the empty bed and then at the clock.

Laksh: "Where did Ragini go so early in the morning? Ragini!!" – He called her out but got no response.

He wore his vest and then went out of the room. He looked for Ragini in the kitchen and in the living room but apparently there was nobody in the house except him.

Laksh tried calling Ragini but her phone rang in the bedroom.

Laksh: "How could Ragini leave without even taking her phone or telling me anything?..."

Just then the doorbell rang.

Laksh: "Oh there she is."

He went to open the door but there were Riya, Swara and Hardik instead.

Laksh: "Hey guys... you here so early in the morning?"

Riya: "Yeah, we had planned to go shopping together today, didn't Ragini tell you?"

Laksh: "I think she might have forgotten but... the point is that Ragini is not even at home and she left her phone here too. In fact I was about to call you guys if you knew anything."

Swara, Riya and Hardik looked at each other shaking their head.

Swara: "Ragini didn't inform us of anything. In fact she was the one who asked us to come today. Maybe she went to meet Mom and Papa? Wait, let me call them and ask."

She called them but they didn't answer.

Swara: "It's strange that both of them aren't picking up my calls."

Riya: "Maybe Sanskar knows... I shall call and ask."

She called Sanskar but got the same result as Swara.

Laksh: "What's happening?"

Hardik: "Let's wait. Maybe Ragini just went out and shall be back in few minutes..."

Laksh was not so convinced as he was feeling restless but nodded: "Come inside..."

Everybody entered in the house and sat in the living room.

Laksh: "I'll change and come."

AFTER ALMOST AN HOUR

Everybody was still sitting in the living room waiting for Ragini and now they were all getting worried as not even Sharmishta, Shekhar and Sanskar were picking up any of their call.

Laksh stood: "There is just one person who can stoop so low to harm Ragini..."

Saying that he went out followed by Riya, Hardik and Swara who were confused.

LATER

The two cars, Laksh's and Hardik's (in which Hardik, Swara and Riya were sitting), stopped in front of Maheshwari Mansion.

An angry Laksh came out of the car and walked towards the door of the mansion. The rest followed him. Laksh was stepping into Maheshwari Mansion after a year.

He rang the doorbell and Annapurna opened the door.

Annapurna: "Laksh..." – A smile appeared on her face and she immediately hugged her son – "You've no idea how happy I am seeing you back home."

Laksh hugged her back and suddenly he calmed down a bit. He had missed his mother too. They used to talk on phone but hardly met.

But the little smile that had come on Laksh's face seeing Annapurna disappeared as he saw Durga Parsad standing behind her.

Laksh broke the hug and glared at Durga Parsad: "Where is Ragini?! See if you've done anything with her I swear..."

"Laksh!"

Laksh immediately stopped hearing Ragini's voice. He looked on and saw Ragini coming from inside the house with Sanskar. Riya looked at the latter with questioning eyes and he gestured her to wait.

Laksh: "Ragini!!" – He rushed to her and hugged her tightly – "Thank God you're fine!" – He broke the hug and looked at her – "What are you doing here?! Did he again threaten you or anything?!"

Ragini: "Laksh just calm down. I'm totally fine and nobody did anything bad with me. Come inside, we'll sit and talk."

Laksh: "No! I don't want to stay in this house even for a minute" – He looked at durga Parsad – "Just let's go away from here."

He held her hand and was about to take her away but Sanskar stopped him.

Sanskar: "Laksh just wait and listen what everybody has to say!"

Laksh: "Bhai you very well know that..."

Sanskar: "Yes I know everything. But before assuming anything else, just listen. Come inside you all."

Ragini looked at Laksh and asked him with eyes to do what Sanskar was saying.

Everybody went in the living room and there were also Sujata, Ram Parsad, Shekhar and Sharmishta and also Harshad and Parineeta were sitting there.

Swara: "Mom... Papa... What are you doing here? What is happening, can somebody tell?"

Sanskar: "Yesterday Bade Papa saw the live telecast of the International Indian Music Academy Awards event and heard your speech Laksh... Mom was telling me how emotional and proud he got."

Laksh chuckled: "Are you kidding me?! My father felt emotional and proud for me? Bhai you are talking about Mr. Durga Parsad Maheshwari!"

Durga Parsad looked down.

Ragini: "Laksh! Please!"

Laksh looked away pissed off.

Sanskar: "So I talked with Bade Papa and he is genuinely regretting his mistakes Laksh... he asked me to talk with you and get you back home..."

Laksh: "So you basically called my wife here without me knowing anything?! And Ragini you?! How could you come here without even telling me?! Bhai I'm telling you this is wrong!"

Ragini: "What is wrong Laksh? Sanskar called only me but Papa Ji called even my parents and you know he apologized for whatever he did. Is that wrong?! Obviously we didn't tell you anything... just look at your reaction! Please Laksh... everybody deserves a second chance... and he is your father!"

Shekhar: "Durga Parsad Ji has already apologized for what he did. Even though we know that Ragini is really happy with you Laksh a family, a house is incomplete without elders..."

Annapurna went to Laksh: "Please Laksh... try to give your father another chance, for me..."

Laksh looked at Durga Parsad who walked to him and stood in front of him. He joined his hands and Laksh, without even realizing it, immediately put his hands on Durga Parsad's one. He was his father after all.

"Tujhse bayaan chahe mene na kiya hai
Par ek lamha na tere bin jiya hai...
Jaana mene jaana yeh, dil aazmane se
Kabhi na chupe Rabba, pyaar chupane se.."

Durga Parsad looked at him: "I'm sorry. You were right and I was wrong. Honestly Laksh, I thought money and class were everything but you proved me wrong. Even without my name you have achieved so much success and believe me, I am proud of you. How can't a parent be proud seeing his child settling down with his own efforts after all? It's just that... it took time to realize for me. I understood that relationships are more important than anything else once I lost them all... I'm sorry for whatever I did with you, with Ragini... please forgive me and return back home Laksh... please... I promise I won't let you down this time..." – Laksh looked down – "I know you have never been happy with me Laksh but... I'm your father... I need my son near me.." – He looked at Ragini – "I need my daughter in law at home... I know I don't deserve it but still I'm asking you another chance..."

Laksh looked at him and it was the first time he was seeing this side of his father.

"Teri meri raahon mai chahe dooriyan hai,
in faaslo mai bhi nazdeekiyan hai.
Sari ranjishon ko tu pal mai mitade,
Aaja aa bhi ja mujhko galey se lagale..."

Laksh: "Okey... I'll come back home with Ragini..."

A smile appeared on everybody's face and in front of some shocked faces, Durga Parsad hugged Laksh who first hesitated but then hugged him back.

Annapurna got teary eyes as she was finally seeing her family together. Ragini saw tears on her cheek and wiped them. Annapurna smiled and they hugged.

Riya: "Oh God, so does that mean that the four of us will live under the same roof?! That's so exciting!"

Sanskar: "Oh no! I totally forgot that I'll have to bear you 24/7 after our marriage!"

Riya: "What do you mean?!" – She glared at him putting her hands on her waist.

Laksh: "Oh Bhai you have not even idea about how much these ladies' tantrums increase after marriage!"

Ragini looked at him with a pout.

Hardik: "Yeah... tantrums increase and bank balance decreases!"

Swara: "Oh really?! Now you guys will see!"

Ragini, Riya and Swara grabbed one cushion each from the sofa and started to chase their respective partner as they run around the house.

The elders sat down on sofa and laughed seeing their children having fun.

Laughters echoed in Maheshwari Mansion as finally everything ended on a good note.

Finally everybody's heart was filled with happiness and every relation was mended.

Ragini and Laksh's love won against all odds and Sanskar proved that friendship has to be the purest bond of all.

Every dream the three had seen had finally turned into reality and everybody got their happily ever after together.
