Forever alone

As days passed Diego and Shira rivalry started to grow. Normally the members fight others for dominance.

Diego and Shira never fought each other. There was time white sabers challenge Diego in a solo fight and Diego fought back. It was the same with Shira.

Diego is getting tired of fighting. He ordered his pack to not get involve with Shira's pack. Diego's pack followed his orders.

Shira's feistiness was getting her. She wanted to fight Diego's pack. Shira ordered her pack to fight them to the last saber.

When it came to leave Diego and Shira met with their parents. Shira began to growl at Diego. As Diego didn't want to fight.

Shira spoke, "Fight me!"

Diego didn't answered and went to find his parents. Shira began to get frustrated at Diego and decided to make matters at her own paws.

Shira charged at Diego and pinned him to the ground. Diego looked at Shira confused.

Diego spoke, "What did I-"

For the first time Shira clawed Diego's face. For Diego it was such pain that he clawed back.

Shira backs off with pain. Diego quickly get up. Diego touched his face and noticed it has blood.

Shira also checked her face and has no blood on her face. Diego didn't want to hurt Shira but didn't had other choice to fight back.

Diego looked at Shira angrily. Shira saw what she has done. She hurted her best friend.

Diego charged at Shira with rage. Diego knock Shira to a tree. Shira get up with pain and fought back. Diego was evad her attacks. Diego once more he knocked Shira to the tree.

Shira wasn't able to get up. She was badly hurt. Shira felt that she was in the situation before.

Diego walked towards Shira and raised his claws. Shira looked at Diego and shut her eyes waiting to get hit.

Diego felt guilty for hurting Shira. He raise down his claws.

Shira opened her eyes and saw Diego with his down.

Diego began to walk away. As Shira was trying to get up. Diego felt guilty and at the same anger.

He didn't felt he deserved it but also regret for hurting Shira. Diego turned back and began to carry Shira.

Diego spoke softly, "I'm sorry."

Shira seems to heard what Diego said. She was conflicted to either continue fighting Diego.

Shira was able to walk in couple hours. Diego and Shira met their parents.

It seems they are going in their separate ways. Diego and Shira looked at each other one last time.

Diego approached Shira. Shira began to blush.

Diego put his head against Shira's head. Shira found herself purring.

Somehow Diego and Shira knew they will be separated. Shira began to tear up like she was going to lose Diego forever.

Shira spoke sobbing, "I'm sorry. I don't want to you to go."

Diego spoke, "I don't want you to leave despite you hurting me. I don't know why we hate each other but we are still friends."

Shira began to get her composure and spoke, "Yeah when I returned I won't go easy on you."

As Shira was about to leave. They both raised their heads and accidentally their lips touched each other.

Diego and Shira were shocked. They quickly turned away from each other. Shira couldn't believe that she had her first kiss with Diego.

Shira blushing, "I won't forget this!"

Shira started to go her parents. Diego went to his parents. Diego watched as Shira was going with her parents.

Diego spoke softly out of nowhere, "I love you Shira."

Shira somehow heard it and also spoke softly out of nowhere, "I love you too Diego."

Diego and Shira came back to reality not knowing what they said to each other.

Diego is now alone with his pack but in his heart he felt that Shira will return in his paws someday.
