Diego P.O.V

Several months has passed. I was able to fit in the pack as a commander. My cubs were learning how to defend themselves.

Every night the cubs would cry for their mom and siblings. I could feel their pain like they were part of me. I was trying to remain strong for them. Every time I think about Shira and the cubs wondering if they are okay.

I miss her so much and the cubs. We were separated for almost a year. I wonder she still think about me.

Skyler spoke to me crying, "When are we going see mommy?"

I spoke bit sadness, "I don't know son. I promise we will be together no matter how long it takes."

Then the cubs come to my chest crying. I was trying to comfort them as best as I can. I swore to kill Carol for separating us. I was anger on him.

At least we got peace time from danger for me and the cubs. A pack we take care of each other. Also I didn't heard anything about revenge on the white sabers or they are kept at heart.

Shira P.O.V

So much time as passed. I was traumatized by the death of Diego and the cubs. The cubs were crying for the losses of their family.

Carol was trying to cheer them up. Little by little they were recovering. Carol was always been next to me trying to help me to move forward.

I knew that I have to move on. I knew Diego and the cubs wouldn't come back. They wouldn't want me to be like this. I have to start all over.

Not much longer I began to be happy again. I was spending good time with the pack. Playing games and spending time with friends.

Carol was getting closer to me like cheering me up. Always spend time with me. Carol would also spend time with the cubs like a father to them.

As I was watching him playing with the cubs smiling. I notice three figures sabers in the woods. Two of looked like cubs and a adult saber. They were looking at me shaking their head no. Like they were telling me not to get comfortable.

Then I looked at Carol then looked up again. I notice they were gone. I began to wonder if I was seeing things.

I began to look at every direction. Then I saw them again where Diego's sleep place.

Then I saw them walking to the mountains. Then I started going after them. Then they disappeared in the air.

I felt like I was going insane.

Then Carol spoke, "Hey Shira why you don't join us?"

"Yeah right I'm coming."

I joined in playing with my cubs. Carol would playfully tackle me. I began to laugh and have fun. After a while he was on top of me. We looked at each other eyes. He got close to my face but I turned my face away from him like something was holding me back.

Carol spoke, "What wrong Shira?"

I responded, "It nothing Carol. I'm not ready."

Then I got up and began to walk away with the cubs. Then I felt sharp pain in my chest like I was hurting someone or something. I took the cubs where Diego's slept. We stayed there for the night.

Diego P.O.V

I was asleep with cubs. Then I started dreaming.

I was in a beautiful flower fields. I notice in the far distance that looked like Shira with another saber.

I started chasing after them to tell Shira that I'm alive.

I ran up to her spoke, "Shira!"

Then Shira turned around and saw me surprised.

Shira spoke, "I thought you were dead."

"Yeah it because of Carol was trying to kill me and the cubs. But we are alive."

"Diego has much I want to be with you. But I have a mate already. "

I looked who was it. It was Carol was her mate. I wanted to kill him with my bare fangs.

I felt destroyed by heart. Thinking it all over. Then I saw Shira kissed Carol and started walking towards the sunset.

I felt tears falling down. What is the point living anymore?

Then I heard Shira's voice by behind, "Diego! Wait!"

I refuse to turned around feeling wanted to die.

Shira spoke again crying, "Diego! Don't do it! Please turn around! I'm begging you! I still love you! Just once turned around!"

I decided to turn around and it was Shira. She was alone she was running towards me with tears.

Then Shira stopped from few feet away. Like something was blocking her to come to me. She was desperately trying get through.

I spoke, "Shira why?"

Shira responded, "It's not me Diego. Like if I took that path. Here still with you. Please Diego tell me you are alive!"

I responded, "Yes I'm alive with the cubs. We are across the mountains. Carol wanted to kill me to have you, but I escaped with the cubs."

Shira spoke in tears, "Promise me. Will you come for me. "

"I will."

Then Shira was able to come to me. Shira tackled me to the ground and started kissing me. I couldn't feel anything.

Shira spoke, "Please Diego be alive."

I spoke, "I promise I am. Please love me."

"I never stop loving you. I always will. Your mine only. I want to show you how I feel so bad. I want to feel you, your warmth and body."

Then suddenly I woke up from the dream. I felt myself crying like I actually met Shira.

Shira P.O.V

I woke up in tears. I feel that he is still alive and the cubs. That it was actually him. I could feel his despair trying to be with me.

One day will see each other again. I could feel hope that he is not dead.
