"slow down."

"just shut up and help me move this." i groaned as the boys helped me carry my things up to my dorm room.

"ant, you're useless!" ronnie laughed seeing anthony barely helping griffin.

i dropped the 2 bags i was carrying and set them on the ground of my dorm. it consisted of two bedrooms, a small kitchen that connected to a small "living room" with an even smaller bathroom. i hated that cmu required freshman to stay on campus because i'd much rather live in my apartment with lydia than here with some stranger.

i watched the guys walk in with the rest of my stuff and frowned.

"ugh this sucks." i mumbled, sitting on my bed. lydia and ronnie walked over and hugged me.

"at least we're less than 10 minutes away." ronnie said, oh yeah, ronnie was gonna be staying at the apartment with lydia while im gone.

"its just gonna be weird, what if my roommates a serial killer?" i whined and jaden and noen laughed.

"well then we know who to blame when you're dead." noen joked, i rolled my eyes and leaned back.

"she's probably not that bad." jaden said. "whens she coming?" he asked.

"today i think." i responded, just then the dorm door opened and we all turned to see who it was. she was extremely pretty, she had long blonde hair that went down just before her butt, she was average height, skinny, she looked like she could be a model.

"um, do i have the right room? i really hope i do or this would be embarrassing." she said, a nervous laugh coming from her.

"layla greene right?" i asked her and she nodded, i smiled. "you have the right room."

"you must be jenna?" i nodded and she looked around, she was a very smiley person and i could already tell we'd get along. "and jennas friends." she smiled to the boys, jaden stood and stared at her as if she was a goddess.

"oh yeah! theyre just helping me move my stuff in." i told her, she nodded.

"im not from here, so i dont have anyone here i know. im stuck carrying my things in on my own." she stated, another laugh coming from her lips.

"d-do you need help? cause we could help you carry your things up. we already got all jennas stuff." jaden suggested, everyone looked at him.

"if thats not too much to ask? i really wouldnt wanna be a bother." she said, jaden laughed, getting closer to her.

"really it would be no big deal." he said kindly and i looked at chase who was already looking at me in shock.

"its like he just fell in love." chase whispered, i nodded and looked back at jaden who was stumbling for his own words.

so as he said, we helped her get her things up to the dorm. everyone introduced themselves to her and jaden exchanged socials with her.

"what are you famous?" she asked as she saw his followings.

"i mean i guess you could say that." he shrugged, trying to act cool. i rolled my eyes and let out a laugh.

i looked over at ronnie who was wrapped in anthonys arms, i smiled and hoped he'd ask her out soon.

after a while we all got bored and decided to go to the casino. since most of us weren't 18 yet we went into kids quest, which was an arcade.

"chase i bet i could beat you in this race!" i said and ran to the race car game.

"bet you cant!" he retorted, we swiped our cards and let the game begin.

"chase you suck!" i heard noen and laughed, i ended up getting first place and chase whined.

"youre mean." he joked.

"thats okay, i have noen." i smiled and hugged the colored haired boy. chase rolled his eyes and made his way to griffin.

noen and i played a few games together then got hungry.

"wanna go down to one of the restaurants?" i asked him, he nodded and while no one was looking we left the arcade.

we ordered our food which consisted of chicken tenders and french fries, along with two glasses of chocolate milk. we sat down and waited for our food.

"what color should i dye my hair next?" he asked, i looked at him and thought.

"i think red would be hot." i said, he scrunched his brows together and looked at his hair.

"you think?" he questioned.

"i know." i winked and he laughed.

"we never get to have alone time together." he said and i realized that we were always with someone when we hung out.

"true! we should do this more often, its a lot quieter without everyone bickering." i told him, i smiled seeing the waitress bringing over our food.

"have a nice meal." she smiled and walked away.

"i cant believe that i start college in 2 weeks and wont be seeing you guys for a few months." i mumbled as i shoved a fry in my mouth.

"its really gonna suck not being with everyone all the time." noen said, i nodded and took a sip of chocolate milk.

"there you two are! we've been looking all over for you!" chase exclaimed.

"why not just text us?" i asked and chase blushed.

"didnt think of that."
