Nadia paced back and forth in her Enchantress apparel since she would be in the first scene with Ricky. She didn't think she could get even more nervous compared to last musical's opening night, but the Menkies were on the line and she had to perform well. After seeing North High perform, her nerves were really brought out, too.

And she also wanted to be in a good mood for the pizza date with EJ tonight. She was really looking forward to it.

She then felt someone tap on her shoulder and she turned around to see a scary looking EJ that made her yelp. She had also forgotten that she was wearing the scary nose thing, so he also yelped at the same time as her, making each other burst out laughing after. She then quickly took off the nose thing since she really didn't need to have it on until a few minutes after the opening scene.

"Wow, Kourtney really did your makeup well. If I were Belle, I would reject you, too," she told him before she realized what she had said. "But I'm not Belle. And you're not Gaston. I'm Nadia and you're EJ. Two completely different people," she quickly said after to save herself.

EJ started to laugh again. "You're really nervous, aren't you?" he said.

"Is it that obvious?" she questioned, laughing nervously. "I'm just gonna have to play 3 different parts and I've never never done that before, and the Menkies are on the line and I really can't mess this up and—"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, it's okay, calm down," EJ said, placing his hands on both of her arms. "You're gonna do great, okay? You're Nadia Coleman, you always do well no matter what the circumstances are," he assured her.

She sighed, looking down and then up at him, calming herself. She then realized that his hands were on her and she blushed slightly. "You've really been helped me a lot lately, you know that?"

"Well, someone wise once told me that we both help each other," he replied, making her smile wide and blush even more.

"I wonder who said that," she said, playing along with the joke.

"Yeah, I wonder who," he responded, staring into her eyes like she was doing. He then looked over towards Nini, who was holding some cards in her hand. "I think Nini is handing out cards for tonight. We should get ours before you have to go on," he told her.

She nodded, walking over towards Nini with EJ by her side. "Ah, there they are! The dynamic duo!" Nini exclaimed, handing them both their cards. "Don't open these till we get to Slices tonight, okay?"

Nadia and EJ both looked at each other at the same time, thinking the same thing. They then looked back to Nini. "Oh," was all Nadia said.

"Is there a problem?" Nini asked.

"I mean..." EJ trailed off.

"We weren't planning to go the after-party if there was one because..." EJ trailed off and the camera flipped over to Nadia.

"We were gonna have a pizza date instead!" Nadia exclaimed.

The camera flipped back to EJ.

"It was supposed to be a couple weeks ago, but then someone broke the harness."

The camera flipped back to Nadia.

"And Ricky broke Ashlyn."

The camera flipped back to EJ.

"And it's all been a little crazy."

The camera flipped back to Nadia.

"So, we rescheduled for tonight after the show. But we didn't know that they would be having the after-party at the same location, which is at Slices," Nadia explained.

The camera flipped back to EJ.

"No, I wouldn't use the D-word. It's just good, clean fun, all alone with someone I've grown to dig...a lot," he said to the camera, a love stricken expression on his face.

The camera flipped back to Nadia.

"Now what do you wear on a real...date?" Nadia asked the camera with a smile.

"Um, if there's a problem then—"

"No, there's no problem. We're good," Nadia assured Nini, nodding as she looked over at EJ, who also started to nod.

Nini nodded slowly before she went over to Seb and Carlos to hand them their cards.

"Umm, so what should we do about that now?" EJ asked once she left.

Nadia shook her head. "I don't know. We could figure it out later though since I wanna be focused on the musical first," she told him.

"Yeah, good idea," EJ agreed.

"Okay, half hour call!" Natalie yelled as she walked in the room. Most of them started to squeal and cheer excitedly and nervously.

"Wildcats! Villagers!" Ms. Jenn called out to them all once she walked in, making them circle around her. "My friends and allies. As you know, there is a judge out there in the audience tonight who is very important to the future of this theater program. He is going to score every performance, our music, our sets. Lord help us, even me. And in two weeks, at the Menkies, we could win," she said, "$50,000," she finished in a whisper, which made them all exclaim excitedly.

Nadia placed her hands on EJ's arm, shaking him enthusiastically. "So, tonight, we are going to put the 'U' in Utah!" she shouted, but no one said anything since it was a weird thing to say. Seb just clapped once to make things less awkward, but it only seemed to make it more awkward. "And to Ricky and Ashlyn, some words of inspiration. My deep and shameful disappointment in your recent accident has mellowed to a sort of, uh, numbness, so there's that."

Ricky and Ashlyn glanced at each other in confusion. "Oh, we're those the words of inspiration?" Ashlyn asked.

"Yes, they were!" Ms. Jenn responded and everyone gave her a blank look. "Okay, where is LeFou?"

Big Red then came running in with a bottle of Pepto Bismol in his hand. "Sorry I'm late. Just some dry heaving," he said and Nadia gave him a concerned look.

"Dude!" Ricky replied.

"Dry!" Big Red emphasized.

"TMI," Marcus muttered, looking away awkwardly.

"Um..." Ashlyn said, crouching down to pick up the big basket of flowers that were on the floor. "Biggie, I got you a little something for your big debut. There's a card and everything.

"Oh, wow," Big Red said with a smile as he looked at the flowers. He then looked up at Ashlyn and his eyes widened before he placed a hand over his mouth, gagging. Nadia's eyes widened and then he ran out of the room.

Ashlyn looked over at everyone's concerned faces and said, "He's ready."

Nadia, with her full Enchantress apparel on, watched the curtains go up to reveal Ricky, wearing his prince apparel, from stage left. She heard everyone start to cheer and she knew that it was a full house out there, her parents included. She cracked her knuckles and neck, getting ready for her part to come.

"Once upon a time, in a faraway land," Mr. Mazzara, as the narrator, said, "a young prince lived in a shining castle. Although..."

"Hey, you ready?" EJ said from next to her as she adjusted her fake nose with her free hand since she was holding the fake, cardboard rose in the other.

"As ready as I'll ever be," she replied, shrugging as she waited for her part.

"You'll do great," EJ told her before Nini came running up to them, fixing Nadia's hood.

"Okay, you're ready, Nadia. Just remember to have fun, okay? You'll be great," Nini told her.

"Thanks," she said to Nini before she gave EJ one last look and pretended to limp onto stage.

"But then, one winter's night, an old beggar woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose," Mr. Mazzara said as Nadia lifted the rose up and presented it to Ricky, "in exchange for shelter from the bitter cold." Nadia continued to show him the rose, using her other hand to gesture to it. Ricky then put his hands up to guard himself from Nadia. "Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince sneered at the gift, and turned the old woman away!" he continued as Ricky pretended to laugh, and as Nadia pretended to be offended, she whipped around her dress. "But she warned him not to be deceived by appearances..." Nadia went around Ricky, pointing at him disapprovingly, "...for beauty is found within."

Nadia tapped on Ricky's arm twice and backed away from her, giving her a confused look. "And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress," Mr. Mazzara continued and Nadia ripped off the fake nose to reveal her real face as she twirled around next to Ricky. "If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time the last petal fell," he said as Nadia handed Ricky the rose, "then the spell would be broken." Smoke then started to pour out of the smoke machine they set up and Nadia went over to it, whipping her dress around in it. "If not, he would be doom to remain a beast for all time."

Nadia then went over to Ricky and he crouched down behind her as she twirled her dress around to conceal him as he made the first transformation into the Beast. She then twirled off stage and Ricky stood up to reveal himself as the Beast. The audience began to cheer before the curtains closed.

Nadia ran back over to stage left and over to EJ, who grabbed her and spun her around unexpectedly. She began to laugh excitedly before he put her back down. "See, I told you you would be great!" he said and she nodded, continuing her laughter.

The curtains opened up for the 'Gaston' scene. Nadia, who had to switch out of her Wardrobe costume, was now wearing a regular, old-timey dress and was pretending to fill some drinks for the dancers behind the counter. Big Red and EJ were talking as LeFou and Gaston before the music began to play.

It was now time for the 'Gaston' song, so Nadia quickly made her way over to the chest, with a smile,
that Big Red was sitting and sat down next to him before he began to sing.

Big Red:

Gosh, it disturbs me to see you, Gaston
Looking so down in the dumps

Big Red and Nadia then got off of the chest. Nadia spun around to be behind EJ while Big Red stepped to the side. One of the dancers then opened the chest up and revealed himself, making some of the audience laugh.

Every guy here'd love to be you, Gaston
Even when taking your lumps

Big Red then made his way over to the counter behind them and hit it with a spoon three times as Nadia went back over to the chest and closed it, sitting on top of it since the dancer had stepped out like they had practiced. But, what they didn't practice was EJ sending Nadia a flirtatious look, making her blush. Luckily, the audience would think it was part of the musical.

As Big Red came over with a mirror to show EJ his reflection, Nadia got up again and spun around, using the chair to get over to EJ's other side; then she grabbed his bicep rather lovingly, but this time is was rather...real emotion. EJ then shoved Big Red and sent Nadia a wink in her direction, causing her to back up and let go, fanning herself, which is what she actually needed to do.

Big Red then backed up into the dancers to begin their dance to the next verse as Nadia made her way behind the wooden counter, pretending to clean up everyone's drinks while staring at EJ.

Big Red then made his way behind the counter and EJ got up from his seat, moving over to the other table to their left. Nadia strutted out smoothly from behind the counter, spinning around dreamily as she made her way over to EJ.

All except Nadia:

Nadia:

No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston

As she sang, she gripped EJ's chin and slightly shook it, giving him a dreamy, far off look before she added a quick kiss on his cheek. They didn't do that in any of their rehearsals, but she felt like it was appropriate.

EJ glanced at Nadia before he got up from his seat, flexing his biceps as he sang, which made Nadia fan herself again.

EJ:

As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating

All:

My, what a guy, that Gaston

EJ then made it over to the counter and grabbed some eggs, juggling them as he sang.

EJ:

When I was a lad, I ate four dozen eggs
Every morning to help me get large

EJ then started to throw the eggs up in the air, the dancers running over to catch them as they fell.

And now that I'm grown, I eat five dozen eggs
So I'm roughly the size of a barge

Big Red then threw an egg at EJ, and he easily caught it in his wooden cup. Nadia made her way over to the middle of Big Red and EJ, cupping her hands together on the side of her face to stare at EJ with an impressed expression.

She then spun around and made her way on top of the table, laying on it sideways as the dancers began to pull it towards the center of the stage.

All:

No one shoots like Gaston

Big Red:

Then goes tromping around wearing boots like Gaston

He sang as he got pulled up from the floor by a broom. Nadia quickly pushed herself off the table, making her way back over to behind the counter so that EJ could jump on the table with no issue.

EJ:

I use antlers in all of my decorating

All except Nadia:

As they sang and spun EJ around on the table, Nadia watched and fanned herself before all the dancers fell the floor to finish the song. The audience then clapped and cheered, and the curtains closed. EJ then climbed off the table and sent Nadia a look before they rushed off stage together with smiling faces.
