ONE MONTH LATER

Nadia walked onto the carpet of the world premiere of Frozen: The Musical: The Documentary along with the rest of her friends. She had been wearing a red dress that flowed all the way down the ground. It definitely looked like she was at the Oscars and not a premiere, but she wanted to look good.

She had decided to go Duke, so she had to fly in from North Carolina all the way from Hollywood. She hadn't seen EJ since she left Camp Shallow Lake into she saw him on the carpet, sending him an awkward wave.

Dakota had also been there which she had completely ignored; he didn't seem to happy about that.

She and Marcus were then interviewed on the carpet together. "So, you both are twins, right?" the interviewer asked.

"Yes. We're twins," Nadia confirmed as she and Marcus smiled at one another.

"I'm the gay one, though!" Marcus added enthusiastically, wanting to make it known so that if other male celebrities saw the interview that maybe they would DM him on Instragram.

The interviewer laughed. "Have you both every fought over the same man, then?" she asked.

"No, we have completely different tastes. You see, I have amazing taste and Nadia has terrible taste," Marcus replied.

Nadia scoffed. "That is so not true," she spoke even though he was kind of correct.

"Anyway, what do you guys have to say about your documentary?"

Nadia and Marcus shared a look. "If I appear mean on the documentary, just know that I'm not like that in real life. I was just...going through some things," Nadia told the woman, not wanting to exactly say they were all just playing parts.

"Yeah. And if I'm weird on it, that's definitely just me," Marcus joked, which made all of them laugh.

They then all got together and took a cast photo with one another before heading inside the place to take their seats.

"Hey, guys. We're gonna keep this super casual, okay? Before we welcome all the audience in for the premiere, we're gonna show you the first full-length trailer for your reactions," Corbin explained. "Just be you."

"Where's Channing?" Carlos questioned.

"Channing edited the doc, but we're no longer working together," he revealed and they all nodded in satisfaction. "Okay. Here we go. Just your honest reactions. And for the record, I haven't even seen this."

They all began clapping and cheering before Corbin turned the trailer on. "Summer. Time to kick back, relax, and have fun. Right?" Corbin's voice spoke over the trailer as it showed people playing at camp before it switched to the main cast. "But when you take the first ever student production of Frozen and add a bunch of drama kids to the mix, sparks fly."

"Okay, Taylor Swift reference!" Nadia called out, which the girls, Carlos, and Marcus all laugh.

The video then switched to Kourtney in one of those reality show rooms where they talk to the audience. "Gina is my sister," she said before it switched to a different shot. "I mean, you know Gina. Gina, Gina, Gina, Gina," she iterated as it showed Gina shaking her head and rolling her eyes. "She's fantastic, right?" Kourtney spoke before she winked, which Gina scoff lightly in confusion.

"I'm sorry, she said what?" Gina asked once it switched to her. "You think you know someone." Kourtney gasped at that.

"I didn't say — That wasn't about you, I swear," Gina assured her.

The video then switched to EJ. "Honestly, you come to Shallow Lake one way, and you always change."

It then switched to Nadia. "EJ and I? Yeah, we're in a great place. We're perfect," she said which made the current Nadia purse her lips together.

The video then switched to EJ where he called out, "Hello, Val!" before they started walking with one another.

"Yeah, I have a lot of questions about those two," Ricky said on the screen as it switched back to EJ and Val.

EJ's eyes widened as Nadia's mouth parted. "I was taking about the characters in Frozen! I-I finally learned their names!" Ricky exclaimed defensively. "You guys! Mr. Bleu?" Corbin just shrugged his shoulders a bit, not knowing what to say.

The video switched to Maddox. "There was a lot of new people this summer," she said before it showed Ashlyn. "Some more memorable than others." Maddox's mouth dropped at that, looking over at Ashlyn.

"I've never been to summer camp and I'm open to anything happening," Ashlyn spoke on the screen before it flashed to Maddox staring at her as she talked to someone else.

"That? Yeah, that's gonna be a thing," EJ nodded on the screen.

"Oh, God. We should not have signed that release," Ashlyn commented in shock, looking over at Maddox before she looked away.

"Oh, I've got a boyfriend back home, and I can't wait to see him again," Carlos said before it went to him whispering someone in a guy's ear and then the same guy walking out of a cabin with him. "Honestly, I didn't come here to make friends."

"They cut off the second part! I said, 'I didn't come here to make friends, I came here to be a star,'" Carlos explained himself.

"Yeah, dude, that's actually not much better," Ricky told him.

"Oh, dear. Oh, dear. This is not what I signed on for," Corbin muttered.

"I'm in love with the girl playing Elsa, and it's eating me alive," Jet admitted on the screen which Maddox start to laugh at him.

"Honestly, I think I might be in love with Jet," Marcus voiced on the screen, which made all of their eyes widen.

"No, wait, I said that after he sang for the first time. I didn't actually mean it!" Marcus spoke up, shaking his head in denial.

"That doesn't really help your case," Nadia whispered to her brother and he groaned.

"Oh, Nadia? Yeah, I know she's with EJ but I want her," Dakota declared, which made everyone give Dakota a shocked look. "And I know just how to do it."

The video then switched to Nadia candidly asking Dakota, "Is it bad to think that EJ's cheating on me with Val?" Nadia blinked in shock since she never said that concern to EJ when they were together.

The video then cut to Dakota telling her, "I think you should probably talk to EJ about this. If you really do think he's cheating, maybe it's best to...break up."

"Ooh, that's low," Carlos muttered and EJ looked at Dakota angrily as he just sank down in his seat.

"They're kinda cute together, you know?" Marcus stated, nodding his head in approval.

"I was talking about Ricky and Gina!" Marcus revealed, which made Ricky and Gina give him shocked look. "Well..."

"This summer is gonna get hot," Kourtney said before she licked her finger. "Tss!"

"I have my eyes set on one thing this summer. And one thing only," Gina told the camera as it went over to Ricky just smiling. "And I'm gonna get it. Don't get me started."

The camera then went on Big Red. "I'm Big Red. I'm Ashlyn's boyfriend and I'm bi," he came out before the trailer ended.

All of their mouths were wide open in shock before Ricky turned to look at Ashlyn. She pouted at him and Ricky nodded and said, "Good for him."

"Is everyone okay?" Corbin questioned apprehensively after a moment.

"I'm calling Seb," Carlos said, getting up from his seat.

"I'm calling Big Red," Ashlyn added, doing the same.

"I'm calling my agent," Kourtney spoke as she also got up from her seat.

"Wait, you have an agent?" Gina asked her.

"That's your number one question after seeing that?" EJ questioned.

"Yeah, okay, I think we're just gonna, like..." Maddox trailed off, pointing to off the stage.

"Yeah," Jet agreed.

"Yeah."

"Yeah, we're definitely gonna go, too. Come on, Nadia," Marcus said before he grabbed his sister's hand and pulled her out of her seat.

"You know what, Dakota? I thought we were friends, but I guess not. Thanks for ruining my relationship," EJ spat at Skate before he walked away, rolling his eyes. "Hey, Nadia, wait." Nadia stopped walking, so Marcus did as well. "Can we talk?"

"Do you want me to force you out? Because I will," Marcus whispered to her.

"No, it's fine. I got this," she whispered back before Marcus nodded and kept on walking.

She turned around to face him, forcing a smile on her face. "Yeah, sure."

"Uh...we should probably go somewhere private," EJ suggested, gesturing over to Ricky and Gina who seemed to be having their own conversation when Dakota left the other way.

Nadia nodded before EJ led her into a different room, closing the door behind them. "Look, I just wanna start off by saying I had no idea you thought I was cheating on with you Val. I wasn't, though. I promise you that."

"I know, EJ. Val told me. I just didn't want to say anything to you because then you would think I didn't trust you," she explained herself, shaking her head. "But I did trust you, EJ. I do trust you. I...I should have called you after leaving camp. But I was just in denial of everything and just..." she trailed off, looking down.

"No, no, Nadia, I get it. You don't owe me any type of explanation after I was an asshole to you all summer. You deserved to make a decision for yourself and I'm glad you decided to go to Duke," he told her truthfully.

"Yeah. Me, too," she nodded, looking back up at him. "But just because I want to Duke doesn't mean I can't also be with you," she revealed.

"What are you saying?" EJ questioned.

"I made a mistake, EJ. I want to be with you. It wasn't our fault about what happened, okay? It was Dakota's. He told you I got a letter from Duke and then you got upset, and then he tried egging me on to break up with you and...I guess I listened to that subconsciously and I did it," she explained herself, taking a step forward. "But I regretted it as soon as I did it. And I know it's probably too late now, but...can we just start over? From before the summer started?"

EJ began to smile lightly, his dream coming true. "I love you, Nadia," he professed, placing his hand on the side of her face.

"I love you, too," she replied before EJ put his lips on hers, the two kissing like their lives had depended on it.

And since their love had come from years of hate, you could call it a hateful love.
