Sumedh's POV
I gave a nudge to Bauji and signed towards Devaki's parents. Bauji nodded.

"Mere khyal se baccho ko apas me kucch der baat kr leni chahiye" Bauji said.

They agreed and told me where Devaki's room was.

I went there.

I knocked and she said "Hmm?".

"Me andar aa sakta hu?" I asked. She kept quiet for a couple of seconds and then said yes.

I went in and closed the door. She was sitting on a couch and stood up as I got in.

"To...kya socha aapne?" I asked. She cleared her throat.

"Isse pehle k me rishte k bareme bolu, mujhe aapko kucch aur bolna tha" She said.

I slightly nodded.

"Me...actually...pta nhi aapko kesa lgega sunkar, but me...me aapki fan hu. Like boht time se" She said.

"Aapki har cheez ko boht saalo se follow kr rhi hu and...you...you are my...c-crush" She said.

I. Was. Shocked.

Indian Women Cricket Team's captain is my fan! Not a simple one. A really big fan.

"Teri to kismat khul geyi Sumedh" I thought.

"Devaki...thank you so much. I'm glad to know that. Umm, me aapko promise krta hu k agar yeh rishta judta h to iss baat ma hamare rishte par koi asar nhi hoga" I said.

She nodded.

We kept quiet. That silence was actually really awkward.

"To...kya samjhu me?" I asked.

"Neeche akar btau?" She asked. I smiled and nodded.

I left the room.

Devaki's POV
I was still in shock. It was just unbelievable...he wanted to marry me!!

Of course it was a yes from my side! I mean c'mon, he us The Sumedh Singh Bhadoria!!

Before leaving my room, I called Mahi Bhai. "Bhai...woh...kucch btana tha" I said. I narrated him what happened.

"To abhi me rishte k lie haan krne wali hu" I said excitingly.

"Accha? Umm, good...Sumedh thik h..." He said unsurely.

I know, he wasn't that happy. He didn't like Sumedh actually.

After talking to him, I went downstairs and said yes for the marriage.

"Yeh le beta muh meetha kar" Mummy said feeding me with laddoo. Everyone started feeding me and Sumedh with sweets. Damn.

"Bas...meri...game k lie..theek nhi h itne sweets" I tried to say.

"Oh puttar ek din se kucch nhi hota" Sumedh's Dad said. I looked at Sumedh. And ear to ear smile came on his face. I smiled and lowered my lashes.

After discussing about some marriage stuff, his family left.

Oh God. I was so happy. I felt butterflies in my stomach...like each and every second.

Sumedh's POV
The next day, I left for shoot.

"Sammy!!" I said hugging her. "Kamine! Rishta pakka ho gaya aur btaya bhi nhi?" She asked. I chuckled.

"Yaar btaya na...abhi" I said. She punched my arm.

"Chal abhi..." She said.

We were ready for the scene. It was a bit funny. Basically the scene was that Sameeksha, so Maya is in the office and I have to talk to her. But she isn't listening to me. Maya goes in the washroom and I follow her.

I madd her stand by the wall. "Maya" I said. "What the..." She said and tried to leave but I place my hand on the wall, blocking her way.

She looks at me. Her serious face made me laugh. "Cut!!" Sir said.

We both start laughing.

Another take.

Same scene. This time she laughs.

One more take.

Everything's going perfectly. "Maya...darr sabko lagta h..." I said. And then I forget the line.

One more take.

"...tumhe andhere se darr lagta h. It's fine. Maya Melhotra ko bhi darr lag sakta h" I say calmly.

"Mujhe, kisi se darr nhi lagta" She said and pushed me.

"Cut!! Great shot!" Sir said.

My dialogue was really long...it was a difficult scene I must say.

Sameeksha was looking at me. "Itna handsome hu me?" I asked while memorising the next dialogues.

"Nope...soch rhi hu kis pagal ne tujhse shaadi krne k lie haan bola hoga!?" She said. I made a poker face.
