Chapter 26
"(Y/n)! Shit stain is at the door!"
Rolling my eyes at my sisters crude nickname for my boyfriend, I leave my bedroom with my hands gently running through my hair, making sure that it isn't a wasps nest as I walk down the stairs. Angel barrels down the stairs beside me, yapping toward Keigo who chuckles and kneels down to greet the snow white dog who jumps into his arms and begins licking his face. Her tail wagging happily to and fro as Keigo nuzzles his head into the side of Angel's face and kisses her little forehead. The blonde smiles as he pulls away, thanking Amai for the towel she throws at his face before wiping the dog slobber off his cheeks with a smile.
As I get to the bottom of the stairs, I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him gently, giggling as he kisses back and rests his hands on my waist with a curt chuckle. Pulling away, we share a small smile before I turn around to head to the kitchen to feed Angel before I leave. The dog trotting after me with her tail in the air, almost showing off with Keigo being around. Amai rolls her eyes, scowling toward the messy blonde who grins toward her, ignoring and being oblivious to my sisters jabs, as he walks past to hug me from behind as I pour dog food into Angel's bowl. The Samoyed head butting Keigo's leg from time to time making him chuckle and ruffle her fur.
There's not denying, Angel adores Keigo.
Whenever Keigo comes over, Angel is all over him. She's weaving through his legs with a happy bark. She's nuzzling his legs and head butting him whenever she can. She'll happily greet him, jumping into his arms and lick his face without a second thought. She absolutely loves him. And it's adorable seeing Keigo and Angel together (and I have a picture of them cuddling on my home screen that Keigo doesn't know about!). Whenever we're out on walks and Keigo pops by, she suddenly wants to play catch or tug of war with him. She also cuddles him regardless of who's in the room, she'll trot up to him and sit on his lap without a care in the world.
Unlike Angel, Amai despises Keigo. Which is hard to try and juggle both my boyfriend and my sister when they're like two sides of a coin. Amai can't stand him (which is totally understandable) but she's now stooping to his level and calling him names and throwing insults toward him whenever she feels like it. I know Keigo was horrible in high school, but he isn't like that now and, if anything, he's trying to make up for it... And Amai isn't making it any easier...
However, I know that it'll work out in the end... it has too!
As Angel begins to devour her meal, I leave the kitchen with Keigo to slip my shoes on, ready for our date. Amai leans against the doorway, unimpressed, as she watches Keigo wait for me with a fond smile. The girl rolling her eyes when Keigo sends her a harmless smile.
"Ooh! Before I forget," Keigo begins, grinning toward me as I turn my attention to him and rest my hand on his hip as he digs through his pockets with a smile, a chuckle leaving his lips as I arch a brow, "I bought you a little something to make up for today,"
"What do you mean 'make up'? What happened?" Amai asks narrowing her eyes making me bite my lip nervously with a giggle as Keigo fishes out a small box, "What did you do?"
"Keigo didn't do anything, I just didn't get the make up scholarship at that agency because the women in charge thought it was okay to talk shit to me," I reply with a shrug, giggling as Keigo hands me the box for me to open, my heart aching as I slowly lift up the box to peek in what's inside before cooing and pulling it out, "Keigo... it's so beautiful,"
"You like it?" Keigo asks with a big smile, kissing my cheek as I nod before studying the necklace in my hands. It has a golden chain with two wings hanging off the centre, matching the colour of my pure white ones, "I saw it the other day in a jewellery store, made me think of you,"
"Aww, you shouldn't have," I coo, wrapping my arms around him for a cuddle, giggling as he peppers kisses along my cheek and jaw, "Thank you so much,"
"Anything for you babe," He replies with a smile, kissing my forehead before grabbing the necklace from me and clicking it around my neck, the cool metal making me shiver slightly, "There we go,"
Amai arches a brow toward me as I look down at the necklace and gently run the pad of my fingers over it with a hum. The feathers on the wings were engraved with so much detail, it was beautiful. Before we could turn to leave, Amai clears her throat. The woman standing there with her arms crossed over her chest with a scowl on her face making me groan.
"What Amai?" I ask, looking toward her as she glares toward Keigo, my insides churning uncomfortably, "We're going on a date, I told you that as soon as I got home,"
"Can you tell me something Keigo?" Amai asks, staring him down making me groan gently and hide my face in his shoulder, the male kissing my forehead for reassurance as he faces her head on, not even intimidated by her, "Do you think you can buy her off with money?"
"No, I don't, Amai," Keigo responds, flashing her a smile before kissing my cheek making me giggle as I lean into him and lace my fingers with his, "Your sister and I have spoken about high school and she's decided to forgive me, I didn't force her nor did I blackmail her into anything, she came to her own decision,"
"Alright..." Amai hums, flashing me a small smile before clearing her throat and grabbing Keigo by his collar to bring him down to her level making him squeak, "Have her home by half eleven the latest, do you understand me? A minute later and I'll show you a world of pain, understood?"
"Yes, Amai," Keigo says with a nod, sending her a smile before adjusting himself as Amai pushes his away and stalks back to the living room making me giggle gently, "Ready to go baby bird?"
"Yeah," I hum gently, kissing his cheek before leaving the house with him in tow, "So where are we going?"
"It's a surprise," He replies, kissing my nose as we head down my front lawn and onto the street, a giggle leaving my lips as he picks me up bridle style and spreads his wings, "Now hold on tight,"
"You know I could fly myself," I inform him, giggling as he nods innocently and pushes off the sidewalk, propelling us into the air before flapping his wings gently through the night sky, "Are you being a gentleman?~"
"Of course I am, I'm the best gentleman there is," Keigo proclaims, flying through a cloud without a care in the world making me squeal with giggle, resting my cheek against his chest as he soars through the sky, the fluff of his jacket tickling my fingers and my nose, "You're gonna love this, trust me,"
Giggling gently, I rest in my boyfriends arms before clinging to him tightly as he decides to do a sneaky loop de loop. The male grinning as I nuzzle my head into his shoulder and squeak, nervous he'll drop me (although I know he wouldn't do that). His arms hold me close to his chest as he zooms through the sky, chuckling as my hair waves into his face.
Slowly, his wings flap to a stop. The male setting his boots down onto the ceiling of a building making me tilt my head and look around with a small frown on my face. What's going on? Humming gently, I slip to my feet and look around confused. Gently, Keigo tugs my arm and leads me around the little doorway, pulling me from the side of the roof before covering my eyes making me giggle.
"What's going on?" I ask, slowly stepping forward as Keigo guides me across the roof of a random building, "What's happening?"
"Shh, baby bird, I promise you'll love it," he says edges me forward a little bit more before stopping, my hands gently reach out to nothing making my stomach turn slightly, my heart in my throat as Keigo clears his throat and takes a deep breath, "Okay, you can open your eyes now,"
As he pulls his hands from my eyes, I slowly flutter them open before gasping gently and covering my mouth with my hand. Small tears bunching in the corner of my eyes at the small sight before me as arms wrap around my waist from behind, his hands settling on my stomach as I lean into him with a small smile. My heart swelling with joy as he kisses my cheek.
Before me, laid out beautifully, was a little rooftop picnic. A white and red checkered blanket lay on the edge of the roof with candles underneath domes holding the corners of the blanket down. In the centre of the blanket, laid a wicker picnic basket, holding strawberries, chocolate and, of course, some fried chicken that I'm sure Keigo got before picking me up for tonight making me giggle.
"What do you think?" Keigo asks, sitting down on the blanket and patting the space beside him making me smile and take a seat next to him, resting my head on his shoulder as his arm wraps around me, "You like it?"
"I love it, it's amazing Kei... thank you," I hum, kissing his cheek before pulling out the two boxes of fried chicken from the picnic basket making Keigo chuckle and rub the back of his neck with a sheepish grin, a nervous aura radiating from his persona as I hand him his box, "Babe, don't worry. I don't need gourmet food every night, I'm more than happy to cuddle up and eat takeout. You don't have to spend tons of money on me, okay?"
"Okay... just don't want you to think I'm a terrible boyfriend," he admits, opening up the box before pulling out a third box full of popcorn chicken making my stomach sing as he places it in the middle, "I just... don't want to fuck this up,"
"Keigo, this is amazing," I tell him, cupping his cheek in my hands, giggling as his stubble rubs against the skin of my palm and kiss his nose, "You're a great boyfriend, don't beat yourself up okay?"
"You're so sweet," he hums, pecking my lips gently before digging into his fried chicken, the male slurping gently as he eats it making me squeal with laughter. He groans gently, embarrassed. Hiding his cheek in his shoulders as he messily eats his chicken, "Sorry,"
"It's cute, don't be sorry," I hum, sticking my tongue out toward him before eating the chicken myself, slurping noises leaving my lips as I eat the chicken, grease smothering my fingertips and my chin and cheeks making Keigo chuckle, "It's not the most attractive of foods is it?"
"You're adorable," he says, sticking his tongue out before devouring another chicken wing making me giggle, smirking as I grab a handful of the popcorn chicken and devour them as quickly as I can, moaning gently in delight at the delicious taste, "Enjoying the food?"
"Mhm," I hum, almost chocking on the chicken when Keigo inhales the rest of his food, causing crumbs and grease to go all over his face and hands making me giggle, "You're so attractive to me right now,"
"Course I am, I'm the hottest man alive," he teases, laughing as I snort at his words. The male sipping at his soda while I finish off the rest of my food, a small pout resonating on my lips as I realise how greasy my fingers are before having a bright idea. Grinning, I wipe my hands on his jacket making him shriek and whine, "Babyyyyy! Why you do this to meeeee?"
"Because I wanted to," I whine back, stealing a strawberry from the basket and happily gulping it down, a smile on my lips as Keigo pouts, "And you didn't bring napkins you heathen, shame on you,"
"Damn," Keigo says with a laugh, gently pushing my arm making me giggle before I grab a strawberry and look toward him. The male grins and opens his mouth, "Strawb me!"
Giggling, I throw the strawberry toward him and snort as it hits him in the eye. The male laughs as he eats it up before opening his mouth again. Grinning, I throw another strawberry, the pair of us gawking at each other as it completely misses him and falls down the building. Keigo leans over the edge to check where it landed before we both snort when we hear someone yell in disgust as the strawberry splatters onto their head.
Oopsie daisy!
Taking a deep breath, doing a feint throw to try and make sure I get the trajectory right, I throw the strawberry toward him and cheer as he manages to catch it in his mouth. Score! The male grinning happily as he bites down onto the sweet fruit before kissing my cheek gently.
"Third times a charm," I declare with a grin, squeaking with laughter as Keigo pokes my sides, making me wriggle and writhe next to him with a giggle, "Keigo! That tickles!"
"Oh does it, baby bird?" He asks with a grin, pulling me into his lap making me giggle as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss his cheek, his stubble tickling my chin, small hums leaving my lips as I kiss along his jaw with a smile making him hum, "Ooh~ Is someone feeling a bit spicy~"
"You're such a dick," I groan, rolling my eyes as he chuckles and rests his hands on my hips and kisses me gently, the male smirking as I pull away and hum before grinning toward him, "Are you feeling a bit spicy~"
"So what if I am?" He asks with a chuckle, smirking as I giggle and slip my fingers into his blond locks, "I can't help it, you're gorgeous,"
Taking a deep breath, I pull Keigo close. Our noses touching and our lips millimetres apart, smiles playing on our lips as his hands slowly slide underneath my jeans, grasping my ass making me arch a brow as he grins innocently toward me before gently pressing his lips against mine. Humming gently, I kiss back, smiling to myself as our lips mould against one another. Keigo's hands gently kneading my behind as I pull and tangle his hair around my fingers with a mewl.
Groaning gently, Keigo leans back, pulling me along with him, making me cage him against the blanket with a hum. Pulling away from my lips, Keigo begins to kiss down my neck with a hum, gently licking and sucking at the sensitive skin on my neck making me bite my lip and pull him close. My face heating up as he leaves little hickeys in his wake.
"I better be able to cover them up," I hum, gasping as he playfully bites at my skin with a chuckle making me giggle and swat his head with a pout, "Don't bite me! You bonehead!"
"You'll be fine, you're a makeup artist babe, you can cover anything up,"...
"Amai's going to kill you when she sees the hickeys,"...
"She needs to loosen up, she's such a stick in the mud babe,"...
