HR 59: it's a bird it's a plane.... No it's Superman
"Laksh…. I thought you are out of this" Sanskar spoke disappointed. "Trust me bro... I did not even played one bet after I promised you... Don't you trust me? " Laksh asked desperately.
"Then what's this new mess?" Sanskar asked him as he sat beside him. "What are you talking about?" asked Laksh confused.
"The brake wire was cut dude. It was not broken" Sanskar looked at him. "What?..Ouch…" he held his paining head.
"I checked it with the mechanic" Sanskar nodded his head.
"But bro... " Laksh was interrupted. "I will find it out who is trying to kill you" Sanskar stood up.
"Bro... " Laksh stood up worried.
"It was your car and I asked you when I checked my car morning" Laksh looked at Sanskar tensed. Where as Sanskar gave him a confused look.
"Someone doesn't want to kill me. That person wants to kill you" he said horrified and Sanskar looked at him as realization stuck in his brain.
"We have to meet Kavita's sister soon. This is all about your life in danger bro and all are just on the way of the conspiracy…. Kavita, Ragini and me" Laksh pulled his hair in frustration.
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Sanskar.
"I... I was told to hit on your head when Ragini and Swara had been to the temple just on the day of marriage…I could not. So I had to injure Ragini to act like I tried to hit you but she came in between" he looked down hesitant.
"And you are saying this to me now Laksh?" asked Sanskar angry.
"I don't know how it never flashed me brother. They said it was a test so I was like convinced that they wanted me to injure some one. Not particularly you" Laksh caressed the back of his neck.
"And you read Kavita's letter. She was told to kill you and when she refused to do so they killed her" Laksh pointed out. Sanskar collapsed on the couch.
"That means they can kill anyone if the person is standing in front of me?" asked Sanskar broken.
"As insane it sounds. Yes" Laksh nodded his head pursing his lips.
"That means Ragini is not safe too" Sanskar looked horrified.
"As far as she stays out of your way she is safe" Laksh patted Sanskar's shoulder.
He closed his eyes burying his face in his palms. "Will she stay away from me?" he asked Laksh.
"You bet. If you tell her straight away all she will do is run into the trouble" Laksh shrugged his shoulder. Sanskar chuckled agreeing.
"Just confuse her by creating the fake crisis and she will remain away from the real problem. Because I know my bhabi. She loves trouble" Laksh stated.
"That's not untrue" Sanskar nodded his head.
****.****
Sanskar stopped the car and leaned back his head closing his eyes. His heart beat was at peak. He didn't knew what will he do?
If in any case if he fails he had to lose the love of his life and he wouldn't want to breath next puff of air in a world she isn't there with him.
All in all he had to gather every logical working idea he could think of right now.
He looked the address and the mansion of which he had got the address from Kavya.
It wasn't like any buildings he had ever seen. A huge bungalow was behind the huge wooden gates and the surrounding was empty. He reached the gates and checked for any security. But there was none.
For a moment he thought it was the wrong place. How can someone hold a person captive without single soul for security.
But when his eyes scanned the surrounding he knew why. The bungalow was in the middle of an area which more looked like a forest and a single road connecting to the highway which was almost 5 kilometers away.
There was no way that someone who doesn't know about this place will stumble around. If anyone strolled around mistakenly also the dreadful look of the bungalow made it safe from trespassers.
Slowly pushing the big gate Sanskar finally entered the gardens and carefully studied the surrounding. He sighed relieved when there was no one around. What surprised him was there were not even security cameras.
The door to the mansion was made up if teak wood and looked rich with the carvings. He placed it hand over it and thought for a while. The door was loose which meant it was open.
Should he enter the place? What was the possibility of him getting trapped?
When everything looks so easy definitely it's misguiding you. And Sanskar knew this so well.
He didn't mind getting trapped as far as he can save his wife. But if he dies and fails to rescue her then he is not gonna be peaceful in the eternal after life also for sure.
But standing outside, only made the time reduce. He had to walk in though it was the stupidest thing to do. After his mind battled for an unknown short time he was ready.
The other side of the door opened into an empty living room which had furniture and all the interiors intact.
No traces of anyone around. He looked around carefully and searched the whole place.
Finally in a room near to the kitchen he heard a low muffled screams. And he didn't needed to open the door to know who it was.
Anyone could tell that he got the life back when he opened the door and saw his wife. She was not looking her best at the moment.
God she was alive and he couldn't even say how happy he was to find her just alive.
All his pain, worries, anxiety washed off when he looked into her eyes.
He rushed to her untying Her hands and then uncovering Her mouth. She stood along with him and hugged him. It was such a overwhelming moment that all she could do was sob on his chest while he caressed her hair to console her.
Bringing her out of the hug he cupped her face. Pecking her lips he placed a deep kiss on her forehead. When his eyes closed feeling her finally in his arms safe a tear escaped his eye. He wanted nothing compared to this.
"You.... You shouldn't have come here" she spoke in her broken voice.
"You wanted me to let you just die? No not happening in million years" he chuckled.
She nodded her head negatively. Her throat was dry and painful.
"Shhh" he silenced Her. "All I wanted was you to be safe Ragini…." he looked into her eyes which were struggling to stay open.
"All I ever wanted was you to be safe Sanskar..... "
Before anything could be clear he felt himself being dragged and turned.
All of his senses went blank when he saw Ragini standing in the place he was standing and blood oozing out of her stomach.
She was stabbed from behind. Her eyes came out and she could not even cry out of pain.
Sanskar looked at her face which went on contorting in pain as her voice was stuck in her throat alone.
He never ever wanted to see her in such a state.
"I am sorry… I had promised you I will never leave…. But I have to break my promise" she looked at him trying to control the pain.
"Ragini…." finally he could cry and register what was happening around.
Then his eyes moved up. There he was standing the one person he never thought who will betray him. The one person who was never in his mind when he was searching for the real master mind.
.
"Bhai…" Sanskar's eyes narrowed looking at his elder brother.
