Laksh was still in shock when he saw Swara on the ground.

"Swara... " Ragini passed Sanskar to reach her sister. She placed Swara's unconscious head in her lap and patted her cheek calling her name repeatedly. But it didn't work.

"Uttara" Sanskar looked at his extremely shocked sister. She was still in trance. "Why did you do this? " he asked reaching her.

She did not answer. "Are you out of your mind Sanskar? Why will she push Swara?" Ragini looked at her husband not pleased with his conclusion.

"She had done it once. She can do it again" he said and Ragini pointed her looks at him. Was that even Sanskar she was talking to.

Laksh who reached his wife by now lifted her and rushed to his room.

"I have called the doctor" Ram came to the room with his phone and everyone left a breath to relax themselves.

Ragini analyzed if Swara was hurt. But there looked no signs of it so it made her to feel better.

Swara moved a bit and everyone keenly observed her like she was some specimen kept for observation.

She looked around to find the whole family gathered around her and gaping at her. Her eye brows knitted close and the pain in her head rose.

"Ouch" she held her paining head while she sat straightening herself.

"Why are you all ogling at me like this?" she asked looking each one of them.

"You fainted and we were worried" Ragini spoke caressing her sister's hair.

"Ahhh. I did actually" she closed her eyes rubbing the temple.

"I was feeling dizzy from the evening" she said and Uttara left a breath to relax herself.

"And people don't even have the patience to listen to me" Uttara stormed out giving a serious look to her brother.

Ragini felt bad for her sister in law who became the target of everyone's suspicions.

"What happened to her?"  Swara asked a bit confused. "She will be fine. You tell me are you okay?" Annapurna asked sitting beside Swara.

"Yeah Maa. I'm good. It's just normal in pregnancy" she did not realize what she said until she watched the dazed expressions on everyone's face.

"I... "

"You are pregnant?" Laksh had the mixed emotions of happiness and anger.

Happy to be a father and anger that he came to know about it this way.

"And you didn't feel it necessary to let me know?" Suddenly his anger seemed crossing the limit.

Sanskar walked out of the room and Ragini looked at him.

"As if you give a damn" Swara said casually.

"I do give a damn,  damn it. It's my blood" Laksh spoke frustrated.

"I think we should give them the moment" Sujata spoke and Annapurna agreed to it and all left the room.

"And I lost my moment" Ragini thought as she came out of the room and walked to reach her room on the other corner.

As she expected Sanskar was lying on the couch covering his face behind his shoulder.

Though she knew like her he was disturbed too and wasn't sleeping but she thought of giving him space not willing to suffocate him.

She wished this space doesn't become too much and part them away.  Looking at him for one last time she closed her eyes. On the other hand Sanskar watched her face.

There was pain in his eyes. There was also helplessness in his face. He did not wanted to hurt her but there was no way. He had to see her broken.

He didn't knew how the coming time might pass when he has to see worst.

The dark night was growing more darker. The crickets chirped and the moon shone with the twinkling stars.

As the new day began the Maheshwaris were all bustling due to their new found happiness.

Where there looked no hope that the things will get better the hope of a new born brought a new hope that there was high possibility that the relationships were going to mend.

But it was mere a possibility.

Ragini did not disturbed sleeping Sanskar while she walked out of the room to reach the kitchen to prepare the breakfast.

Her responsibility was double Now. She hardly had time to think anything else. The happiness of becoming Maasi maa was beyond explanation.

After the men of the house walked out she got herself busy with other household chores. And the time flew like it had got wings.

It was the evening tea time when all the ladies sat and were enjoying their free time.

Annapurna and Sujata were planning the diet for Swara where as Parinita was teaching Swara how to spend her time reading books and doing other stuff.

Ragini sat beside Uttara who acted like she was busy with her phone becuase after what happened last night she had no interest to talk to anyone.

"Uttara" she looked up hearing Ragini's voice.

"I'm sorry on behalf of Sanskar. He is really stressed nowadays and he hardly realize what he speaks" Ragini tried apologizing to which Her sister in law nodded her head.

"That's fine bhabi. I deserved it. After What I did to the family I can't expect better treatment" Uttara smiled sadly.

"It ain't like that. You are misunderstanding" Ragini placed a comforting hand on Uttara's shoulder.

"Sanskar really did not mean that. I'm sure he was really stressed" Ragini raised her eyebrows.

"I'm not hurt bhabi.  I know bhai. He says what he feels. On point and fact most of the time. He hasn't grown a habit of hiding his frustration" Uttara looked at her phone again.

'He never hides his frustration. That's actually fact' Ragini's mind made circles and circles.

"I'm done"

The moments of their last argument came flooding to her.

But she wasn't sure why has her husband's behavior changed overnight.  Has she done something to piss him off.

"Ragu" Sujata's voice broke her trance. "You are okay?" asked she worried.

"Yeah Maa. Just a bit of headache" she smiled weakly but she couldn't hide her emotions from her mother in law.

"Ragini" Sujata walked to Ragini's room tugging her along. "Still you aren't able to sort the issue?" Sujata asked concerned.

"Maa. I don't know I couldn't get him to talk last night" Ragini said a bit disappointed.

"I hope the things get better for you and Sanskar soon. It ain't good to have such things in the early marriage when you haven't got any moments together yet" Sujata caressed Ragini's cheek lovingly.

"Don't worry Maa. Even if your son wants to run away from me I'm gonna make sure he is tied tightly" Ragini said to lighten the moment and she succeeded in doing so when Sujata chuckled.

All the dinner time Sanskar stayed quite which was unusual. He walked to his room and Sujata signed Ragini to go behind him and she complied.

She hugged Sanskar from back while he was arranging his couch to lie down.

He turned face Ragini and she hugged him placing her head over his chest where his heart was pacing making her smile.

"Sanskar" She said still when Sanskar was trying to get out of her hold.

"I was thinking of taking our marriage to next level" she closed her eyes blushing while Sanskar was shocked to hear it.

"Ragini" he brought her out of the hug and held her by her shoulders.

She looked at him confused.

"I'm not ready for any responsibility right now.  And already Queen Elizabeth is giving a heir to Maheshwari clan and I don't think anywhere we need to think about it right now." Sanskar released himself from her embrace and walked.

"Sanskar" Ragini spoke in complaining tone.

"I did not mean to say we will plan anything of that sort" Ragini rubbed his shoulder placing her head over it.

Sanskar guessed where was it leading.  He turned to her getting out of her hold.

"Ragini I'm tired" he turned again to face the couch.

"What's wrong with you?" she asked annoyed.

"Too much" he spread his hand.

"You not giving my space is too much for me to handle" he said a bit sternly this time.

"That's not the thing" Ragini nodded her head as tears developed in her eyes.

"I have told you plenty of times Ragini. I need one thing right now and that's time. Can't you just leave me alone?" he asked.

"No" she said with confidence.

"Fine. Let me find my peace myself" he grabbed the pillow and the blanket and walked towards the door.

"If you leave now" Her words stopped him.

"It will prove that you never wanted this relationship" a tear escaped her eye travelling down her cheek.

She had a hope that Sanskar might open up to her.

"If that's so. Let it be. I'm glad finally you understood it" Sanskar walked from there leaving Ragini shattered.

She collapsed on the floor and cried. Was that all? Was it supposed to end this way?

Her phone beeped and she wiped her face to take it and opened the new message.

Her eyes went wide as she saw what it was.
