They all reached the palace late in the evening. Dinner was served and after having dinner whole family settled in the main hall to chat about tomorrow's party, which Karan was throwing for Dev.

"So you liked the decoration" Karan asked Leena who happily smiled and nodded at her elder brother. Finally Karan first plan worked. Dev called him and asked him to arrange suite in Royale Deewan. It was like dream come true for Karan and his team ; he wanted Dev to stay in hotel not at their palace.

"Bhai tomorrow Dev and family are coming, I want you and Leela to come with me to airport" Leena said.

"Well Leena sorry but I won't be able to come as I have meeting in Kolkata, I am leaving early in the morning and will come back before lunch" Karan said.

"Umm Leela" Leena looked at her younger sister.

"Yaa.. I am coming with you" Leela replied back.

They all chatted for sometime then left for their respective rooms, while Karan went out saying he has some work in hotel and will be late.

After few hours Karan returned from hotel. He went to his room but Rinky was not there, he searched her in other rooms but she was nowhere to found.

"Searching Rinky" Rinky's sister-in-law asked.Karan just smiled, "she is with my twins in children room it seems" she smiled and walked away.

Karan entered the children room, which was specially designed for guest and their kids, "I was searching for you in my room" Karan wrapped his arms around Rinky who was sitting on the bed, with her nephew and niece playing beside her who were playing with toys.

"Hi" Karan layed on the bed and smiled at the twins, who were enjoying their bua(aunty) company.

"They look different now" he said, caressing their cheeks.

"Yes," Rinky smiled at them.

"I thought you will join me in my bedroom" Karan looked at Rinky.

"I wanted to spend sometime with my sweethearts" she picked her nephew and rubbed her nose with him.

"Ok that's good idea" Karan adjusted the twins on the bed and layed back on one side of the bed.

Suddenly they heard a knock at the door. Rinky got up and opened the door and was surprised to see Leena standing there, "Rinky bhabhi will you be able to check the final touches of Dev's birthday party tomorrow" Leena asked, she doesn't want Rinky to join them for airport.

"Sure Leena" Rinky smiled.

"Ok Good night" she turned and left. Rinky closed the door and looked at Karan.

"If she guessed that we all are meeting in hotel then what will she think" Rinky asked in serious tone.

"We are not meeting in hotel" Karan paused, "We are meeting in Rajvir office not our hotel office" he informed.

"Ohh but still you lied about you going to Kolkata" she walk back to the bed.

"We have to do this Rinky without her knowledge" Karan caressed her hand and smiled.

"Rajvir had planned everything and he meet Leela today" Karan informed.

"Ummm that Rajvir guy is big flirt" Rinky layed beside twins.

"I know, but he is aware that you are taken" Karan laughed.

"He use to flirt with me"

"Hmmm I am aware"

"Ohhh, Today he asked Leela about her bf" Rinky said.

"Oh cool, he is nice guy and I don't mind if he is interested in my sister" he winked and got up, " I better leave you with your sweethearts, I am going to dad, need to talk about Poonam " he leaned in and kissed her lips and left.

Next day Karan left early in the morning while Rinky left for hotel to check the final touches of the party.

Leena got dressed and went to Leela's room who was screaming in pain, "What happened Leela?" Leena asked.

"Stomach ache" she replied and then ran inside bathroom. After few minutes she came out, "I...I can't come with you" she said, sitting on the bed.

"I can see that" Leena kissed her sisters forehead,"Take care"  she smiled and left. After an hour she reached airport and waited for Dev to come out. Dev had called her and informed that flight had landed.

"Dev"Leena ran towards him and hugs him tightly.

"Happy birthday my love" she whispered.

"Thank you darling" Dev smiled down at her.

"Ohh I missed your touch " Dev laughed.

"I missed you too" she laughed too, "Where is Poonam mom and your family" she looked behind him but no one was there.

"They are still in security checking" he informed.

"Ohh"

"You came alone" Dev look behind Leena, he was expecting Leela to come too but it seems she is still angry with him and Poonam for forcing her to come to India with Karan and family, he thought. Don't worry Leela tonight I will make you happy, I need you more than Leena.

"Yes " Leena replied, "she have stomach ache and bhai went to Kolkata for some meeting" she said.

" It's fine" Dev shrugged.

"So...from here we are going to palace where you all can take rest and then..." Dev kept his finger on her lips, "Palace is your home and I won't stay there. I will stay in hotel. I called your brother and explained him and he arranged special suite for me and my family" Dev smiled.

"But Dev our palace has nearly ten guest room so there won't be any problem" Leena said, she want him to say with her in her palace. She missed him badly and want to spend tonight with him in his bed.

"I know but still I don't want to stay as guest. We are still not married so I will stay in hotel. Darling I want to come to your palace as your groom not as guest" he said.

"Leena"

"Poonam mom" she walk behind Dev and hugs her stepmother then she turned and meet Dev's family.

"So you are clear now Leela " Karan asked. 

"Yes bhai" Leela nodded and looked at Rajvir who winked. As this serious moment he is flirting she thought.

Karan looked towards his fiancée who doesn't seems convinced with this plan,"Rinky" he called.

"Yes Karan " she reluctantly agrees.

"Dad why are you so serious"  Karan sat beside him and side hugs him.

"See son they are cunning people they will understand"  Kabir said looking at Rinky whose doesn't look happy with this plan.

"They won't" he looked at Rinky who slightly smiled.

"Ok then get ready for party" Rohan Rinky's brother said looking at his sister. He feels proud of his sisters who are so strong one is saving her company from rivals and ex of his husband and other one is saving her new, her own family, her sister in law.

Karan wrapped his arms around Rinky, "You look breathtaking tonight," he kissed her bare back. Rinky was wearing black and red saree with red backless blouse which Karan had gifted her.

Rinky turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck," so do you "she smiled.

"Let's go" she said.

Karan took a deep breath, "hmmm" he said and they walk towards the ball room.

"Ready for the show" he winked at Rinky, despite tension she laughed. Karan let Rinky go and then they parted ways.

Rinky headed left in search of Dev while Karan turned around and walk to Anjana who was standing alone holding a glass of wine and a seductive expression on her face.

Rinky walked towards Dev who was standing with Leena and Ganesh.
"Happy birthday Dev" Rinky hugs Dev.

"Ohh Rinky bhabhi thank you" he lightly wrapped his arm around her. Rinky then stepped back, "Hope you both are enjoying the party" she asked looking at Leena. Who seems irritated with Rinky and her hugging Dev.

"Thanks bhabhi" Leena looked at Rinky whose hand was still on Dev's shoulder.

Suddenly dj started music and the hall filled with the laughter of guest who headed towards the dance floor.

"Let's dance Dev" Leena grabbed his wrist and pulled him towards dance floor. Dev smirked at Rinky and walk behind Leena to the dance floor.

Rinky stood beside Ganesh who smiled at her, "Why don't you join the floor with Naina bhabhi" Rinky suggested .

"You will stand here alone" he looked at her
Rinky nodded and looked around to see Karan was holding hand with Anjana.

"So Miss Anjana have you got any modeling proposal" Karan wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer and began dancing.

"Call me Anjana or Anju" she smiled seductively.

"Sure Anju" Karan whispered in her ear, "So tell me any modeling proposal" he asked.

Ohh Karan no" she sadly said looking at Ganesh who was dancing with a lady who is tall and heavy according to Anjana.

"She is Naina, his fiancée, they are getting married next month" Karan said, he pulled Anjana closer, "I spoke to him regarding your modeling thing and he is happy to take you in future assignment" Karan whispered in her ear, his breath fanning her neck. She arched and searched for his eyes in dim light.

"Really!!" Anjana happily asked her eyes than moved on Rinky who was sitting alone, she has serious look on her face, "Why are you not dancing with your fiancée?" she asked.

"Umm she doesn't like dancing and her mood is off" Karan shrugged.

"You haven't announced your engagement to media" Anjana threw her arms around his neck.

Karan laughed and looked towards his staffs who were ready with cake.

"Well that can wait but not the cake"  he laughed and slowly made his way to the centre of the hall.
