That night, Me and August tried calling and texting Liz to talk to her about that incident. My mother called from the kitchen, "Amy, Lexi, August, Dinner!" I picked up Amy and put her on my shoulders as I walked in, it was her birthday today so we were having her favourite, nachos!

At the table, my mom asked August and I how school was, "Good." We said in unison "except one thing," said August "oh?" My mom perked up. "Lexi and I thought that Liz was someone else, and we said something not very nice. She thought we didn't actually like her and now she's ignoring our calls and texts!"

"Happy birthday angel!" Said dad as he walked in "Daddy!" I said throwing myself into his arms. Childish I know, but he's my dad! "Look at my girls!" He said kissing my mom on the cheek, then me, and then he picked up Amy and started kissing her all over. "Hi daddy!" She said through giggles. He set her down.

"August my boy!" He boomed giving him a hug "hello sir!" Said August "I've heard so much about you! You are very handsome."
"Thank you sir! So are you!"
"Please, call me Angelo!"

"Si-Angelo, can you meet me in the study in 5 minutes please?"
