"Are you sure you know what you're doing, kiddo?" The blue hologram asks with a smirk as he glided by as the others ran.

     "I know what I'm doing!" Rhys shouts at him.

     "Who are you yelling at?" Fiona asks with a frown at him as they ran. Rhys waved her off.

     "No one, don't worry about it." He says with a sheepish smile as more gunshots are fired at them. The hologram chuckles as he watched everyone run and laying on his side. Rhys glared at him, "If you're not gonna help us, Jack, then go away."

     The man chuckles, the man himself Handsome Jack. The one who was believed to be dead, which he still was, but alive as an AI. He didn't believe that he was dead until Rhys told him, in which Jack got angry that he got killed by the Vault Hunters. So this is where they are now, Jack mocking him to Rhys' annoyance.

     "Rhys, what do we do?" Sasha asks while ducking her head when another gunshot was fired at them.

     "Um... Let's take cover over there until we figure out something!" Rhys says as everyone nodded, jumping and taking cover in an abandoned shed. They all regain their breath as sweat dropped down.

     "Great, now you got yourself cornered. Great going, Rhysie." Jack slowed clap as he stood next to Fiona and wrapped an arm around her waist, only for it to go through. Rhys scowled at Jack. "You know, if you gave me the chance to mess with their guns, you kiddos could all be home free. But no, Mister I'm The Leader wanted to take shelter like a wimp and now we're all cramped in this tiny shed with a big ass robot and a cute cupcake right here." Jack nudges his head at Fiona with a smirk.

     "Oh shut up." Rhys huffed as everyone looked at him.

     "We didn't say anything." Vaughn says as Rhys sighed.

     "I know. Listen if we can set up a distraction, we'll be able to escape them. Vaughn, I want you to distract them and lead them towards those buildings and loop back around. I'll meet you on the other side while Loader Bot shoots the explosives when they come around and are about to pass them."

     "Sure that's gonna work, kiddo?" Jack asks with a brow arched.

     "Are you sure this will work, dude?" Vaughn asks with a brow arched. Jack points to him and looked at Rhys.

     "See? Ripped Nerd gets the idea." Rhys rolled his eyes as he nodded.

     "I'm sure it will. One hundred percent. Trust me on this." Rhys reassured as Vaughn nods. "Does everyone understand the game plan?" Everyone nods as Jack shakes his head. Rhys nods as they count to three, Vaughn bursts out the shed.

     "Hey! Over here, assholes!" Vaughn shouts at the bandits. They all turn to him and he jumps with a yelp before running, they chase after him. Rhys and the others get out of the shed and run to the other side Vaughn will be leaving from.

     "I'm telling you, cupcake. This idea won't work at all." Jack says as Rhys shooed him away.

     "Leave me alone." He grumbled as they ran, they here the bandits coming around the corner along with Vaughn.

     "Do it! Do it now!" He shouts as he ran past, Loader Bot blasts the explosives as the bandits run by, it explodes and kills the bandits. Rhys smiles and so does the others, they high five one another as he looked at Jack with a smug look.

     "See? I told you we got it handled." He says Jack points behind him.

     "Sure about that, cupcake?" He asks as Rhys turns around and his eyes widen, everyone else turns and their eyes widen as well. A bunch of bandits surround them with guns aimed at them.

     "Crap..." Rhys says as he slowly backed up with the others.

     "We're so dead." Vaughn says before a gunshot was heard. The group look up behind themselves and see someone standing on the roof of a building, pistol aimed at the sky. Based on the shadow of the body, it was a woman who wore a mask over her face.

     "Leave them alone." She says as the mask distorted her voice.

     "Ooohhh, she seems like a badass." Jack says as Rhys shushed him discreetly.

     "And whaddya gonna do about it, lil' girl?" The Badass Bandit, who was the leader, taunted as she rested a hand on her hip.

     "Do you even know who I am?" She asked rhetorically, "I'm the girl who leaves all bandits dead in my wake covered in their sweet red blood!" She shouts as all the bandits pale.

     "No... You're not."

     "Oh yes I am, don't even think that I'll let you all go! You're dead!" She shouts as she held up her pistol and aimed down at the bandits.

     "It's Lil' Red! Retreat!" The leader yells as they run.

     "Heh, oh look how cute. Too bad I can't keep your skin as my home decor!" She cackled as she shot multiple rounds, hitting every single one of them in the head. Not leaving a single bandit alive. They all drop dead and the group of friends look at the bodies in shock. Jack let out a low whistle as he studied the bodies, clearly impressed.

     "That was extremely satisfying." He says that broke the silence while Rhys looked at him with a frown. They look back up at the woman who leaps off the building. "Oh oh, she's about to land a superhero landing. Rhysie she's gonna do a superhero landing." Jack says as they watched and he tried to shake Rhys' shoulder. She lands on one knee and her fist on the ground, a cloud of dust forming around her at the impact, "Yeah, superhero landing!" Jack cheers with a grin as he laughed, Rhys shakes his head as the woman stands back up.

     "Follow me." She says as she begins to walk.

     "How can we trust you?" Fiona asks with her brows furrowed together.

     "Yeah, how can we know you won't kill us like you did amazingly to those bandits." Vaughn asks, the woman stops walking and turns to look at them.

     "If I wanted to kill you guys like I did to those dumb bastards, I would've already done it. So come on, before more come." She says as she starts walking again. Everyone looks at Rhys as he glanced at Jack, who nods excitedly before glitching away. Rhys sighs and gives everyone a nod while following after the mysterious woman. They all follow her through the Dust and eventually reach an abandoned base camp. They walk up to one shelter and she types into a small panel beside the door as the door slides open. "Get in." She ordered and they immediately obeyed. Once everyone was in, she looked at Loader Bot, "Keep an eye out." She ordered as Loader Bot nods and she walks inside, closing the door behind herself. Everyone looks around the shelter as the woman sauntered in tiredly. Jack reappeared and looked around from where he stood.

     "Eh, this place is okay. It's pretty shitty though." He says as he looked at the woman.

     "Who are you?" Sasha asks as the woman walked over to a table and took her mask off with a heavy sigh, back facing them.

     "Little Red." She answered, voice normal as Rhys squinted slightly, taking small steps towards her, Jack does the same as he looked at her skeptically. The voice sounding familiar to them.

     "What's your name, really?" He asks as she sighed, turning around and looking at them all. Everyone's eyes widen. Jack's jaw drops.

     "R-R-Red E-Eye." Vaughn sputtered in shock as he pointed a shaking finger at her, "Y-You're alive?" Rhys stares at her with his mouth wide open. (Y/n) smiles sheepishly as her red eye scanned everyone.

     "Hi." She says as she rubbed the nape of her neck, "I'm alive." Vaughn continued to sputter as Rhys stayed silent and just gawked at her, Jack the same. Fiona and Sasha look between her and the guys.

     "They said y-you were assassinated!" Vaughn says.

     "That you were dead." Fiona and Sasha both say. Rhys continued to stay silent.

     "Rhys, aren't you going to add on to our shock??" Vaughn asks as they look at Rhys who continued to stare.

     "Hey, Rhys." She says softly, "It's a small world isn't it?" Rhys snaps out of his trance as Jack stayed in his.

     "U-Uh yeah yeah. It is. So this is where you've been this whole time, (Y/n)?" He asks as he took a courageous step closer to her.

     "(Y/n)?!" The other three say, "That's your name??"

     "So wait, you knew she wasn't dead, Rhys?" Vaughn asks, "What's going on that I don't know of?" (Y/n) sighs as Rhys chuckled nervously and rubbed the nape of his neck, glancing at (Y/n).

     "I agree with four eyes over here. What's going on, Cupcake?" Jack says with his arms crossed.

     "Should I...?" He drifted off as she sighed and nodded. "Well um... Vaughn." Rhys glances at Jack so he knows that he was talking to him too, "Remember that day when she approved our idea for that coding idea we had?"

     "Yeah." Vaughn says.

     "And you remember how I was always disappearing at random moments for a few weeks after that lunch?"

      "Yeah?"

     "And remember that one morning of the day she was 'assassinated' when I said that I went off to drop something off to Henderson and then came back with those purple marks on my neck, and said that he strangled me?"

     "Yeah...?" Vaughn raises a brow.

     "Weeeellll... Those weren't bruises of strangulation..." Rhys trailed off as he glanced at (Y/n) and back at Vaughn, it only takes Vaughn a few moments to piece everything together before he gasps. Jack already got it before Vaughn could and glared at Rhys.

     "I know you didn't!" He shouts, voice and body glitching.

     "Nooo...." Vaughn says as he stared at Rhys in disbelief.

     "Yeah."

     "Rhys, you didn't."

     "We did." (Y/n) and Rhys both say as Vaughn holds the side of his head in shock.

     "Bro! She was our boss!"

     "I know but-."

     "You had a relationship with her!"

     "Her boyfriend died and she wanted to move on!" Rhys argued as Jack glitched even more.

     "What?" Jack growled, he looks at the AI in confusion as (Y/n) gently holds Rhys' arm.

     "Um about that, Rhys. Since we're clearing the air with everyone right now, there's something I have to tell you. It's about Handsome Jack's death..." Rhys looks at (Y/n) in great confusion before his eyes widen as he pieced everything together.

     "Wait..." He says as she nods.

     "Handsome Jack-..." She starts.

    "Cupcake here-..." Jack snarled angrily.

     "Was my ex-boyfriend." "Is my girlfriend." The two say at the same time as Rhys slowly backed away from (Y/n) with wide eyes. Everyone's eyes widen even more.

     "Y-You were with Jack? He's the boyfriend that died four years ago?" Rhys asked as she nodded.

     "Oh my god..." Vaughn says as he rubbed the sides of his head with his hands. (Y/n) bites her lips together as she looked at Rhys.

     "I'm sorry, Rhys. I wanted to tell you at some point but I didn't know when." She says as Jack glared at Rhys.

     "You kissed her?" He growled.

     "I did more than that..." Rhys murmured and this enrages Jack.

     "What?!" He shouts as his voice and being glitchy.

     "What do you mean 'you did more than that'?" Vaughn as the two looked at him and his eyes widen.

     "I can't believe you, Rhys." He says with a shake of his head, "You slept with our boss. That's bad, dude!"

     "Oh, is it really that bad?" Rhys snapped.

     "I'm your best friend! You kept it a secret that she was still alive for the past 5 months after she 'died'."

     "I was gonna tell you, Vaughn!"

     "When? When she actually gets killed?"

     "What am I? Invisible?!" Jack shouts, "Don't you think that I'm letting you slide, buddy boy!"

     "How was I supposed to know that she was your girlfriend?!" Rhys shouts at Jack as he appears to be talking to the air from the others' perspective.

     "Who... Are you even talking to?!" Vaughn says in frustration.

     "I have no idea what's going on but I'm really enjoying this." Fiona says as Sasha nods as the three continued to bicker, a blade is thrown between Rhys and Vaughn while passing through Jack's chest before sticking into the wall.

      "Can the two of you just shut up? Your yelling is giving me a headache." (Y/n) growled dangerously as the two men immediately shut up and nod. She sighs deeply, "Now, if you want to hear my side of the story so we can all come to an understanding with each other, then sit your asses down and shut your yaps." She says with annoyance as everyone quickly sat down into seats.

     "God, she's hot when controlling." Jack groaned with a smirk as he walked over to (Y/n) and looked her up and down, "I'm still pissed at you, kiddo. But I really can't blame you for sleeping with MY girlfriend because she's a real 100/10 on my hotness level right here. I'm surprised she even got with a guy like you." Jack laughed as Rhys scowled slightly at the AI. (Y/n) sighs as she leaned against the wall and looked at everyone.
