When she opens her eyes, she's met with a reflection of herself standing in front of a mirror in a beautiful white wedding dress and holding a bouquet of white lilies. (Y/n) stared at herself in awe as Moxxi and Lilith stood on either side of her, smiling at her through the mirror.

     "You look absolutely gorgeous, sugar." Moxxi says with a smile and hugging her arm, she didn't wear the whole face paint. Moxxi looked absolutely beautiful without the thousands of layers of makeup she usually wore.

     "Very beautiful, (Y/n)." Lilith says with a smile as well, not looking as cold and tired looking like she usually was, she looked a lot better when she looked this relaxed. (Y/n) smiles at them.

     "Thank you..." She murmured softly as she looked out the window, the sun was shining and the birds chirped as the gentle breeze shook the leaves of the trees outside. The two women follow her gaze as they smiled.

      "Today is the perfect day for the outside venue. The pictures are going to look amazing." Moxxi claimed as (Y/n) turned to look at them, there's a hint of nervousness in her eyes as Moxxi rubbed her arms comfortingly, "Everything's gonna be okay, sugar. Today's your wedding day! Don't look so nervous."

      "I know." (Y/n) chuckled as she looked down at the flowers, "What if I'm not ready though? I'm afraid I'm not going to be good enough as a wife nor step mom."

     "(Y/n)," Lilith said gently and cupping her cheek in her hand, "You're going to be fine. You're more than ready for this because you're going to be the best wife and stepmom ever. And if Jack didn't think you would be a good enough to be his wife then he wouldn't have asked you to marry him." Lilith reassured before getting serious, "But if he ever does then I'm gonna beat him." (Y/n) laughs a little and Lilith smiles some. They soon here some voices and footsteps outside the door.

      "I wanna see her first!" Ellie is heard whisper yelling.

      "I'm gonna be her daughter very soon so I should see her first!" Angel whisper yelled back.

      "Well, I'm going to be her brother-in-law so I should see her first." Timothy retorted.

      "We already called dibs." Fiona whispered.

      "Yeah!" Sasha agreed.

      "I'm her ex-boyfriend so that means I should see her first!" Rhys argued.

      "So you could see what you could've had but never will?" Scooter deadpanned.

      "Sick burn, yo." Vaughn says.

      "Don't start." Rhys huffed at him. The three women look at each other with giggles as Lilith went over to the door and opened it. Everyone falls through the doorway in shock before looking up and seeing (Y/n), their eyes widen even more at the sight.

     "Wooooaaaaah!" Angel grinned, "You're beautiful, (Y/n)!" She exclaimed as the rest nod.

      "Jack's going to be all over you when he sees you." Timothy says with a smile, identical to Jack's since they were twins. (Y/n) smiled with a soft laugh.

      "Thanks." She hummed as the others were about to chatter away about how you looked, Moxxi and Lilith were shooing them away to their disappointment. Rhys stayed behind and looked at (Y/n), smiling at her.

       "You look good." He says softly as his eyes looked over her, "Jack's really lucky."

      "Thanks, Rhys. I'm just kinda anxious right now." (Y/n) admitted with a nervous laugh as Rhys smiled and hugged her.

      "You shouldn't be, because you're going to be an amazing wife and Jack's lucky to be marrying a woman like you." Rhys said and she smiled while hugging him back.

      "Thank you, Rhys." She hummed before pulling away, "Alright, groomsman. Get to your station at the venue outside." Rhys chuckled and saluted with his prosthetic arm.

      "Yes, ma'am." He said with a wink, (Y/n) rolled her eyes playfully and gently pushed him out of the room and closed it. She sighed as she sat down in the chair, grimacing slightly as she waited for the time to walk down the aisle. A short moment after Rhys left, a knock is heard on the door. (Y/n) gets up and walks over to the door.

      "I thought I told you to go to the venue, Rhys."

      "This isn't Rhysie, pumpkin." A voice says and she feels her heart swell with joy.

      "Who is it then?" She asked, playing oblivious.

      "Your husband." He said with a chuckle, the smile is heard in his voice.

      "You're not my husband yet." She giggled, "What do you need, Jack?"

       "I wanna see you." Jack says as he leaned against the doorway and (Y/n) is heard laughing softly on the other side of the door.

      "That's bad luck though." She says and she hears his amused chuckle on the other side of the door.

      "You actually believe in that crap?" He attempts to open the door but she keeps it closed, "Please, cupcake? Just a little peek?" (Y/n) can almost hear the pout in his voice and she whined softly.

      "Close your eyes."

      "Why?"

      "Just do it, dum-dum." Jack sighs heavily and there's a pause. "Are your eyes closed?"

      "Yeah." (Y/n) opened the door to see Jack leaning against the doorway, eyes closed and arms crossed over his chest. He wasn't even dressed yet as he wore his yellow v-neck and jeans. She giggles softly as she leaned up and placed a soft yet sweet kiss on his lips. Before he had a chance to open his eyes to see her, she quickly pulled away and slipped back into the room, closing the door quickly. He groaned in disappointment and she laughed. "Seriously?" He whined.

      "You just have to wait until I get to the venue." (Y/n) hummed in amusement, "Now go and get ready before Moxxi and Lilith find you here." She hears Jack huff.

      "Fine." He grumbled. She placed her hand on the door.

     "I love you, Jack." She says, Jack lets a smile slip as he leaned his forehead against the door and placed his hand on the door as well.

      "I love you too, cupcake." He murmured softly with a smile. (Y/n) can't help but smile widely. "Alright, I'll see you at the venue."

      "Okay." She hears him walk away. After a few moments of waiting, the door opens and there stood Roland. (Y/n) smiled at him and he smiled back.

      "Ready?" He asked, offering her his arm.

      "Ready as I'll ever be." She says as she got up and linked her arm with his before they head to the venue. The stand at the doors as everyone sat and waited.

      "I'm very proud and happy for you, (Y/n)." Roland says, "You grew up way too fast." She laughed softly and hugged him, he hugged back.

      "Time flies..." She murmured as they pull apart and they link arms again, "And I always dreamed of the day that you would walk me down the aisle to my future husband." Roland smiled.

      "As did I." He says as they open the doors and begin walking. The music starts and everyone stands from their seats and watched the two walk, all smiling. (Y/n) could feel her heart beating at a fast pace and feelings overwhelm her when she sees Jack standing at the end of the aisle with the reverend, wearing a black tux with a yellow tie along with his groomsmen. He looks over at (Y/n) and smiles widely, reaching his hand out for her to take. She feels tears swell up in her eyes and as she takes his hand and walks beside him.

      "You are so beautiful." Jack murmured, "I am such a lucky guy to be marrying someone so beautiful..." He says and they both smile lovingly at each other. This was the wedding that they had always dreamed of having.

      For only a second she blinks, because when she opens her eyes...

      She finds herself laying on her back in the caravan. The van shook side to side a bit as it drove along the rocky ground. (Y/n) realizes that the wedding was a dream. The wedding that they had always dreamed of having. And now she feels suddenly depressed as she whined internally. 'Why do I keep having these dreams...?'

      (Y/n) turned her head to see Fiona driving, Sasha standing beside her and Athena leaning back against the wall, no one has noticed her waking up before a little robot suddenly pops up in front of her face, "Hi!" It said happily, this sudden appearance scaring (Y/n) and instinctively sit up out of fright before a sharp pain shot through her body. She immediately clutched her bandages side.

      "Shhhhhiiit...!" She hissed, leaning her head back, "Shitshitshitshit!"

      "Easy there." Athena says and walking over to her, "You're still healing."

      "What is that?" (Y/n) asked with a lingering pained groan while pointing at the robot, the pain very slowly going away.

     "That's Gortys." Fiona says, looking back at (Y/n) as she drove.

     "Hi! I'm Gortys!" Gortys greets cheerfully again.

      "H-Hi...?" (Y/n) says slowly with a puzzled expression, "That...? What did I miss? What happened? How did that ball turn into that?"

      "Slow down." Sasha says with a soft chuckle, "We can only explain so much."

      "How long have I been out?" She asked as her fingers ran over the small bandage strip on her lip that had a cut.

     "For a few days. You lost a lot of blood at that Atlas facility." Sasha says as she sat down next to (Y/n) and she nods as she sees Vaughn still paralyzed.

     "How's he doing?" (Y/n) asked.

     "Still frozen. Hopefully we'll find a way to help him soon." Sasha said as (Y/n) nodded.

     "Where's Rhys?"

     "On the roof, I'll go get him." Sasha says as she goes up the ladder. Rhys sat there as he talked to Jack.

     "Come on, kiddo. Can you tell them to not shoot every billboard they see with me on it for their training?" Jack huffed with his arms crossed, Rhys rolled his eyes.

     "It's not that big of a deal, dude."

     "Yes it is! It's my face they're shooting and my face is not to be disrespected like that!" Jack argued as Sasha came up, the two look at her.

     "What's up?" Rhys asked.

     "(Y/n)'s awake." She says as Jack visibly perks up. Rhys nods as he went over and she went back down.

     "Oh thank god." The AI sighed in relief, "Come on, Rhysie. Let's go!" He says as he floats back inside. Rhys climbs down the ladder and (Y/n) is processing all the information as she stared at Gortys, whose digital eyes squinted as if she was smiling at her.

     "So you're telling me, that she knows how to get to the Vault?" She says.

     "Yeah." Rhys said with a smile and patting the top of Gortys, "She seems to taking us the right way so far."

      "Woah, cupcake looks pretty badass like this." Jack says as he studied her bandages since she didn't have a shirt on and only her bra.

      "Huh, nice." (Y/n) said as she continued to look at the robot.

      "My name's Gortys!" Gortys says as she zoomed up to (Y/n), she chuckles softly and pats the top of her head.

      "I know. My name's (Y/n)."

      "Nice to meet you!" She says.

      "Nice to meet you too." (Y/n) smiled.

     "How're you feeling?" Rhys asked as he looked at her, she looked over at him and smiled softly.

     "Like death." She hummed as Rhys chuckled.

     "That's good." (Y/n) rolled her eyes as she slowly stood up, holding her side as pain ran through her as she moved.

     "Woah!" Everyone says as they reached out in case she were to fall.

     "What?"

     "You're not completely healed yet." Athena says.

     "Yeah, you need more rest." Fiona says. Flashes of the dream wedding and dream family went through her mind and she shook her head.

     "I had enough rest. I've been out for how many days, I'm sure that enough." She said as she trudged through Jack unknowingly, she shuddered slightly at the sudden static feeling before it vanishes. Jack watches her closely as he put a hand through where wound was, Rhys was about to tell him to stop since he was afraid that Jack was hurting her. Jack shot him a look as (Y/n) tilted her head to the side slightly when the pain eases down a bit and she let out a soft sigh of some relief. Jack smiles as he watched her get less tense and so did Rhys.

     "Are you hungry?" Sasha asked as she stood up and (Y/n) nods with a smile.

     "Starving." She says as she followed Sasha, "Could eat a whole skag from how hungry I am." Everyone chuckles as Gortys followed (Y/n) with a cheer.
