Chapter 19

"Thanks for the food, Jinnie. All of them were tasty." Namjoon compliments after he finished eating the meal. Still holding Jin as close as possible to him.

"R-Really?" Namjoon nods "That's good to know. Umm, i gotta go now. I have to meet a friend so if you excuses meㅡ" he couldn't complete his words anymore as Namjoon speaks.

"Who's that friend? You have many friends, Jin, and i didn't know who is that one you'll be meeting up with." Namjoon says, firm and clear. Enough for Jin to feel a little nervousness.

Jin quickly got up from Namjoon's lap and stood beside him. His head hung low as he couldn't look properly at the older male's eyes.

"Y-Yoongi hyung." Jin replies and Namjoon gritts his teethㅡbut soon, calm down as he remembered Yoongi saying a assuring words to him, that up until now was hunting him.

"You deserve him, Namjoonㅡyou really do, he's yours now. And i'm sure you are his' too."

Yoongi had make sure that he'll no longer gonna meddle in between him and Jin's relationshipㅡthat he'll no longer block their ways to be completely one another's. And that's also what calmed Namjoon down, he's sure Yoongi will gonna keep his wordsㅡwell, more like a promise, and that's because he trusted himㅡand still do.

So he just hopes that Yoongi will not dissapoint him. He hopes. Namjoon sighs and his gaze towards Jin softens. "Fine. Just be careful. Call me when something wrong happened, yeah?"

"Yes sirㅡ" Jin smiles widely, and Namjoon didn't have a heart not to smile back. He gave the smile back to the younger male.

"Have a safe trip." Jin nods and finally leave the room with the lunch boxes. And Namjoon left alone, again, inside his spacious silent office room.

Atleast, he's glad that Jin let him know that it was Yoongi he'll be meeting with. Atleast he knowsㅡthat the younger male finally, and surely trusted him.

Jin arrived at their meeting place. Their favorite and safetest place when they were still lovers. The old yet still fresh and beautiful garden inside the park. And yeah, he's having a flashback right now.

He roamed his eyes around the Park, there were so many peoples, gathering around for a walk. Some were relatives and some are not. He admits, he still loves this place. But ever since Yoongi broke up with himㅡhe never ever planned to come here again. Because he thinks he couldn't handle it all by himself when he'll gonna remember it all. All their sweer gestures towards each other.

Yet here he is nowㅡstanding at the center of the Park. Roaming his eyes around still into finding his ex-lover. A few seconds more, he finally saw Yoongi. Sitting on a bench, near the huge and breath-taking fountain. He sighs and take his steps towards the older male.

"Yoongi hyung" he spoke when he's already infront of Yoongi. The older male's wearing a earphone, but when he saw a pair of shoes on his sight, he quickly guessed it's already Jin. And he was right when he look up.

"Hey." he smiled and taps the bench. Gesturing Jin to sit beside him. Jin doesn't waste any time and sat beside him.

"How's your day?" it was Yoongi who broke the silence. It's awkward for themㅡtalking and meeting up after a year of being seperated. You can't blame them for acting so shy now.

"Good."he shortly replies, looking down on his laps while he fidgets his fingers.

"So--I wanna---I wanna say sorry for--what i've done in the Airport. I really am. Please, accept my apology." There's a little plea on the tone of his voice, that didn't go unnocticed by the younger one.

"I-It's okay. I'm just fine with that. And I hope you didnt mind It when Namjoon glared at you. He didn't meant It, I swear." Jin says, now looking directly at Yoongi's shining eyes.

"Yeah. He's my childhood friend afterall. He didn't hates me and I didn't hate him neither. We understands each others feelings. So, i didn't mind it when he glared at me especially when i know he jist wants to protect you from a stranger like me." Yoongi says and Jin widen his eyes.

"W-What?" he can't believe it. Yoongi and Namjoon? Friends?

"What?" Yoongi asks back. Almost chuckles when he saw how shock Jin was.

"Y-you two a-are friends?" Yoongi nods.

"W-woah! Unbelievable." He muses out and Yoongi couldn't stop his laughter anymore, and just freed it out. He bursts out laughing.

Jin confusely stared at him, his eyes never leaving Yoongi's face as he laughs his soul out. He misses it, he really do. Back then when he's gonna see him laughing or even smiling a little, he also can't help but to also laugh. But nowㅡeverything has changed. He's not feeling it anymore, those fluttering feelings inside of him when he'll witness how Yoongi becames happy.

He guess he finally and completely moved on from himㅡfrom their broken relationship. Cos he didn't feels those euphoric feelings he used to feel before when he was still Yoongi's property. Not anymore.

"Umm. Done laughing? Can we talk normally now?" He asks, and by that Yoongi stops laughing and bring back his serious face in just a second.

"That was quick." Jin says when he saw him changing his expressions that quick and Yoongi smirks.

"Well, i needed to. You might just think i'm crazy person when i kept laughing. While you were all serious" The younger male smiles, he now realize that Yoongi has a soft side too.

Yoongi cares if he feels uncomfortable with him or not. Atleast he cares eventhough he hurt him when they broke up a year ago. "Hmm. What's your reason for calling me here?"

The older male sighs before speaking up. "Jin, i want toㅡatleast befriends with you. Forgive me for all my sins. For all those times i've hurted your feelings. I'm really sorry" he really is. He means it when he said it. He thought Jin would just ignore him that time at the Airport but then he was wrongㅡbecause Jin literally lets him to hug him.

And he's hoping that this timeㅡJin would break his expectation again. He expects Jin to resist on him, to say no on his apology. But those expectation really broke away when Jin replied on his plea. His heart attempted to beat out of his chest and he's actually feeling a fluttering sensation inside of him. That he knows he shouldn't have feeling right now.

"Of course, why not? Past Is past. Let's be good friends, yeah?. I accepts your Apology." said Jin and gave Yoongi a reassuring smile.

That Yoongi himself won't be tired of seeing again and again. That beautiful smile that used to be the cause of him beforeㅡ

After he had a talk with Yoongi. They both headed to an famous restaurant here in Korea. It was already 2 in the noon, and both of them finally felt hunger so they decided to eat some tasty restaurant foods.

Yeah, Jin eat something before heading to Namjoon's office and brought him his lunch. But when he talked with Yoongi, his throat became dry, he felts such a hunger while talking with him. And he doesn't know why his body was reacting that wayㅡ when he just finished eatingㅡwhen he was already in a middle of having a conversation with him.

He fucking doesn't know why. They take the table on the corner of the restaurant. No much light, just dim. And Yoongi thinks this spot really suits for him, cos he doesn't like much lighter place. While for Jin, he expects him to change his natural attitude after coming back from other country, thinking he addopted those cultures and deeds there in New York.

But he was wrong.

Yoongi is still the same Yoongi he know. From what he witnessed just nowㅡhe still hates brightness and loves darkness instead. He still doesn't want much people around him, and he's still that one who choses to just stay quiet rather than having some conversation with others.

And he couldn't keep but to compare the olds times to the new ones. He keeps comparing how he loved that introvert attitude of Yoongi before, and how he still loves himㅡbut only as a friendㅡnow. He keeps wondering, what's that thing that made him to love Yoongi before?

Well, he doesn't know what is it.

They ordered their foods, waited for some minutes while they're busy accompanying each other, and when it finally arrived Jin was quick to eat his meal and Yoongi was also quickㅡto let out a soft chuckle. Which didn't go unnocticed by Jin.

"What are you laughing about?" he asks and Yoongi shakes his head. Diverting his eyes from Jin's pluffy face to his plate full of delicious foods and stab some steak from it.

"Nothing. Just happy you agreed to be atleast friends with me." he saifd before shoving a piece of steak inside his mouth, and Jin stops from eating and frowns at the older male.

"You know what? I don't finally have a doubt that you and that monkey were friends." Jin says and Yoongi raised an eyebrow on him. First, for calling Namjoon a 'monkey' and secondly, for not doubting that they were friends.

"Why?" Yoongi asks and Jin 'tsked', feeling a little hopeless that Yoongi doesn't even notice that he and his friend Namjoon were different.

"You both have same attitude, that attitude that is contented, already happy by small things. But just not that boring introvert personality of yours. Because you are quite an opposite of him when it comes to personality." and he really is amused to how opposite people became friends? Yoongi lets out a chuckle again, his day is joyful because of the beautiful boy infront of him.

"He's an extrovert who loves to communicate with others, playful and not boring when accompanying peoples around him. While you? Nah, a boring kind of introvert who loves to locks himself into his room just to compose some meaningful songs. Stare blankly outside his room's window. Doesn't like much brightness, hates communicating with peoples and many more that is a complete opposite of what Namjoon is and what Namjoon does." Jin explains and Yoongi smiled. A little.

"Really?" He asks and Jin nods. Continues eating.

"Well, we can say that. But peoples do change as time goes by. They realizes that they shouldn't maintain those not nice personalities of them. There'll be a time that they would finally got bored of themselvesㅡfinally finds a useful way to end it. And that's how people changes." Yoongi muses, dropping the desert spoon on the plate. Staring properly at Jin's face while he eats his meal. His lips pouts when he chomps the steak.

That plump and juicy lips of him that was for him beforeㅡis now Namjoon's. And the pretty male sitting infront of him that was his beforeㅡis now also Namjoon's property. Namjoon's husband.

His childhood friend's first LOVE.

"Maybeㅡi'll also change. Maybe there's going to be a chance for me to change my whole personality. What do you think?" Jin looks up to him for a second and happily nods his head. Looking so cute while eating and Yoongi thinks he already threw all his coos towards the younger male.

"Eat well---we'll go on an amusement park after this. Eat all you want, if you still want to order some. Just order--i'll buy it for you" Yoongi says and Jin nods. Still not haltingㅡeven a secondㅡfrom eating.

However, Yoongi is just happy, that he and Jin finally made up. They finally had the chance to reunion after a year of being not able to see each other. And they actually miss one anotherㅡmaybe not as lovers anymore, nor even ex-loversㅡbut nothing but a good friends.

They're already contented to what relationship they have nowㅡbeing friends. And yes, for them being friends than being lovers is much nicer. They can't hurt each other again, they can't blame themselves from giving up on their past relationship anymore. And just be happyㅡalways go out with each other, attend each other's birthday parties or other occasions/events that will gonna throw on one another's places.

That's already enough for Yoongi and Jin. Atleast, they finally found a way to be good again.
