Chapter 17

Namjoon returned home after work, He admits that he was already tiredㅡbut he still needs to apologize to the younger one. He would rather endure the pain of his lower backㅡcaused by sitting all day on his office, Rather than endure the pain he feels on his chest every time he notices Jin avoiding him.

It hurts as hell....

He enter the house, finding no one on the first floor. "Maybe he's already sleeping?" he muttured to himself, how would he invite Jin for a dinner if he's already asleep? He doesn't want to wake him up eitherㅡmaybe...next time?

"Right! Next time" he sat on the couch and rested his back and head on it. He felt comfortness the time he laid himself on the couchㅡand that was the reason why he's now sleeping soundly.

He didn't bother to go upstairs and go to his roomㅡwhen they have a living room and a couch to sleep on. And that's what he's doing right now. He's just very tired that he didn't even complain to where he's sleeping, what matters at this time is that he's sleepy, tired and exhausted and he just wants to take some rest.

After a longㅡlong day...

Yeah. He should bring Jin with him to go on a date to make an Apology, but not todayㅡbecause he's restless all day and Jin was already sleeping. He doesn't want to make Jin hate him more by waking him up late at night and bother his sleep just to apologize.

He could still do it the othet dayㅡyeah, he would bring Jin with him tomorrow.

Jin woken up by the sun rays reflecting from the window of his room, hitting his face. He rubbed his eyes softly and adjusted a little to the strong light coming from the outside.

Gosh, he didn't even know how he survived being left alone in their house yesterday morning up until night. He was feeling oh so lonely yesterday but he still survived from it. He thinks he's no longer scared of ghost when it was already one hour since Namjoon left him, but he was wrong.

Right after the clock strucked 6 at the eveningㅡhe was already feeling so so scared and couldn't help but to stay inside his room and hide himself under the blanket. Yeah! That's how scared he was.

He doesn't even eat yesterday when it was already night because he couldn't go downstairsㅡafraid that he might just see any ghosts. And soㅡhis stomach is already growling now.

He heard the front door of the house's low thud yesterday nightㅡmaybe 9-10pmㅡthat motions him that his annoying husband was already home, but he didn't bother to went downstairs just to go and greet Namjoon. Instead, he kept himself hiden under his soft blanket.

He thinks it's not Namjoonㅡbut a psycho who wants to end him and just cause him his miseries.

How he hallucinate and imagine creepy things yesterday wasㅡhe doesn't know.

He went downstairsㅡsloowwlyyㅡuntil his right foot was already on the last step of the stair. Why he stopped? Well, he just saw Kim Namjoon sleeping on the couch.

He furrowed his eyebrows and asked himself, "Why is he sleeping there?"

He gently take some steps towards the loungeㅡafraid to wake Namjoon up. He kneel beside the couch where Namjoon's lyingㅡwhen he reached the lounge.

And he started examining Namjoon's every feature.

Plump lips, his dimple flexing when he slightly moves his lips, his handsome face andㅡhis manly hair.

"How come you're so handsome? I didn't even noticed it before. Butㅡyou're becoming more handsome when you're sleeping." He couldn't help but to lean closer and closer at while he study Namjoon's face.

He didn't even notice that he was already leaning his face against Namjoon'sㅡnot until Namjoon's eyes slowly opened.

Eyes were small at first but when he realized what Jin's about to do, his eyes wided open as he immediately sat up on the couch. His heartbeat turns erratic and his breath turns into huffs as he look at Jin's troubled face and reaction.

Which is not so far from his reaction.

Jin really doesn't notice what he's about to do earlier, until Namjoon open his eyes. He stood up from kneeling while his eyes were so so big. Surprised at what he was doing.

I was about to kiss himㅡyou're super stupid Jin. And now...he caught you. Fuck it!!

"Umm----good morning, Jinnie." Namjoon asked, keeping eye contact with Jin eventhough both of them are feeling oh so tensed and embarassed suddenly after the unexpected incident. He needs to break the awkwardness and glad some words escaped from his lips. Cos he thinks he can't talk again when he saw Jin's face mere inches away from his.

Jin kept his gaze locked on the floor. He's feeling his cheecks heating up from embarassment, so now he couldn't even stare at Namjoon anymore. "G-good morning." he manages to greet back.

Awkward silence...

There was an awkward silence between them, the atmosphere around them turned into a tensed one and the whole room is now super quiet. Quiet than they could even hear each other's loud beats of hearts. And whether they admit it or notㅡthey love it when they're being able to hear each other's heartbeats. They love it when their hearts only beats erratically for each other.

It's soothing, relaxing, addicting, and most of allㅡit's dominant. Their simple heartbeats symbolizes their love for each other. Whether they admit that they like each other or not...their heartbeats couldn't deny it. It tells everything they needed to know, it answwrs every questions they asks themselves. And that's how Jin's feelings became more confuse.

"Do you eat already? Aren't you hungry? If you already ateㅡthen good, If notㅡi'll cook for--" Namjoon insisted after breaking the silence but Jin quickly divert his sight from the floor to Namjoon's sleepy face and doesn't let him finish his words.

Then out of confusion--- "Why are you like this, Namjoon?" he cuts him, causing Namjoon to narrow his eyebrows.

"Huh? W-what do you mean by that?"

"Why you always making me confuse? Isn't it enough that you stole my first kiss? What else do you plan to do just to confuse me and my feelings? WHAT?" he yelled, tears engulfing his eyes.

He couldn't stop his tears from falling anymore, so instead of being strong he just let million drop of tears adorn his cheeks. They kept falling from his eyes until his chin then fall on the floor. His tears flow quickly just like how Namjoon quickly panicked when he saw Jin's pain expression.

He's the one who caused all of thisㅡthat's the fact, and he can't do anything but to just watch his beautiful husband cryingㅡbecause of him. And he hates it. He hates when he's the one who caused Jin pain. He couldn't move even a muscle when Jin started to sob hardly, he sat up on the ground and hug himself. But there Namjoon isㅡstiffen on his position, don't know how to comfort the other one.

Jin waited for some minutes just for Namjoon to hug him and calm him down, but nothing happened. His expectation was far away from the reality....again. All he need at this time was comfort and assurance but he thinks Namjoon can't do it for himㅡhe's a heartless guy afterall.

So being hopeless he was, he rushed towards the stairs and went straight on his room and locked himself up. He curved himself into a ball as he laid his back on the headboard. He let his face burried between his knees and he continued cryingㅡletting his tears heal the pain he's currently feeling.

He'll gonna ignore his growling stomach for the time beingㅡhe didn't eat dinner yesterday night and he admits that his stomach's already aching, probably longing for food. But he started an arguement this morning, right when he's about to eat breakfastㅡjust because of his confused feelings, he hates it when he's the one who starts the fight between him an Namjoon. He really is. But what can he do? That's what he feels.

He will just gonna cry and cry, until he already calmed down. Cryㅡthe thing that he's really good at.

"Jin-hyung!! C'mon, open this door. Here's your lunch. I heard that you haven't eat your lunch yet and also you didn't go for a breakfast. So hereㅡi have your favorite food with me. Just open the door" Jungkook shouted from outside Jin's room.

Namjoon called Jungkook right when it's already 12 in the noon when Jin still didn't came out of his room to have a meal, he's worrying sick that time. 'what ifs' started to form on his mind. So he tried find a way for Jin to come out of his room and finally have a mealㅡand as he knows Jin's weakness was his younger brother, and he's also sure that Jungkook could make Jin to eat his lunchㅡso he called him to visit their house and that's how Jungkook ended up standing in front of his brother's room, with a food tray on his handㅡwaiting for Jin to open the door and finally eat.

But then ni responseㅡhis arms were already numb from holding the food tray for a long time now, but he can't give up especially at this times when Jin's resisting to eat. He's doing this for his brother, he can't let him skip his meals.

He was about to lose hope when it's been already 10 minutes since he stood in front of his brother's room, waiting for him to open up only to recieve no response at allㅡnot until the door finally openedㅡfor him to see his brother's puffy face.

For him to witness how Jin sufferd, for him to see his older brother's pained expression. He knows it was all because of Namjoon why Jin's on this situation, but he couldn't just blame it on him. He believes that Namjoon tried his best to care for Jin, and Namjoon really cares at his brother at timesㅡwhen he's not busy at working.

That's why he couldn't blame him. He will gonna ask Jin first, then know how they ended up hurting each other and then he'll chose who to comfort and who to blame on.

"J-Jungkookie" Jin muttured but enough for Jungkook to hear as he slowly engulfed the younger one into a gentle hug. That Jungkook thought was because of he needs comfort. And damn, he's right. Jin really needs comfort.

They entered Jin's room but Jin didn't let go of Jungkook at the process, he still has his arms wrapped around his younger brother's neck as he cries and sobs. Jungkook placed the food tray on the side table and hugs his brother back as he kissed his cheekㅡthat has tears stains on it. Symbolizes how he struggles to comfort himself and how he suffers enduring the pain all by his self.

It's hurting seeing his brother at this stateㅡit really is. And now he finally knew how Jin was feeling whenever he sees him cry. Whenever he's gonna see him crying. Now he realizes why Jin's crying with him when he sees him cryㅡnow he finally felt it. He then realize that it was really hard seeing your brother suffering. And he'll gonna comfort himㅡjust like how Jin comforted and cheered him up at the times where he's about to fail, at the times when he was about to gave up, when he feels lonely and sad.

There was always a Jin hyung on his side to cry with him and comfort him at the times he needs him, so probably, Jin needs him right now. He needs someone to comfort him, and Jungkook's already here. He'll surely calm his brother down and re-assure him that everything's gonna be alright between him and Namjoon soon.

"Hyung! It's alright, everything's gonna be alright. Here---" he made Jin sit on the bed as he slowly lift a plate of omelette up. "Eat up okay? You need to eat, Joon-hyung told me that you didn't eat your breakfast. So here, gain some energy"

He says and smiled at Jin, and Jin didn't hesitate to give that smile back. He's happy that his brother was here with him, to comfront him. He really is. They stayed quiet for a while as Jungkook kept shoving some foods inside Jin's mouth.

And that continued for some time as Jin slowly eat, and after thatㅡthey talked about the matters between the couple.
