tengen

social life: he's lowkey notorious for dating three of his juniors, hinatsuru, suma and makio. people who've met him just think he's a really arrogant guy while a handful of extroverts like his brash demeanor, but it's honestly a cover up for his money situation at home (though it doesn't stop him from buying notes from shinobu) there are many rumours about him, most of which were started by his brother, and this is why:

[tengen only had 2 siblings because if not my plot is unrealistic sorry] tengen's mother grew really sick when she was pregnant with her third child. instead of working harder to pay for their treatment his dad became an alcoholic, being depressed and believing that there was nothing he could do to save them. when his second sibling was born, his mother had died from childbirth and the second sibling didnt survive either, dying a mere hour after being born. tengen was only 10 at the time so he had tried to get better paying jobs to help out but the only thing they let him be was be a paper boy. could a freaking paper boy make enough money to save his mother and sibling? tengen was furious that his father did nothing to help his siblings while tengen's only other surviving brother sympathised with his father who has lost his wife and child after all. however, tengen understood his father's side of the story but deep in his heart he knew that his mother might still be alive today if it weren't for his pathetic excuse of a dad. tengen's brother got mad at him and thus tengen ran away from home to live with his grandparents, who funded the hospital visit when their daughter (tengen's mom) got pregnant but didnt have enough for the expensive treatment their daughter needed. they were equally mad at tengen's dad for not doing shit so they took tengen in with open arms. they were the ones who bought tengen his headband. because they had to care for tengen now his grandfather got a job as a taxi driver and his grandmother decided to work at a childcare centre.

rumours that tengen's brother made up included: tengen being bisexual (though let's be fr he probably is), tengen cheating on his three girlfriends with kyojuro (he is not), tengen sleeping with all three of his girlfriends (they're fifteen ew no), tengen being homeless (though no one really believes this one) and more. safe to say that tengen has cut contact with his brother for a while now but since makio is in the same class as him she reports back to tengen all the nasty rumours :(

best friend: kyojuro :D

gets annoyed by: giyuu for always dressing like he's attending a funeral, sanemi for being aggressive at every hour of the day and obanai

love life: he has three girlfriends, so no one really asks him out though some guys do try their luck to which he always makes a big scene while rejecting them to prove he's not gay or whatever.

academic life: not the best student but he could definitely do worse. he doesn't really care about academic subjects and is in most remedial classes. he is in chemistry remedial with giyuu and always tries to ask him what's going on but get's annoyed when giyuu doesnt even know what tecxtbook they had pulled out. they still bond over struggling in remedial together outside of class though. he's a gym bro and he spends most of his free time working out and posting thirst traps on instagram flexing his ripped body instead of studying. his girlfriends condone his behaviour because they trust him to be loyal.

favourite subjects: art and music. he can play the trumpet, drums, recorder, saxophone and violin (basically all the obnoxiously loud instruments you can think of) and he likes making flashy artwork too by making "explosions" on paper. he gets in trouble a lot for leaving paint splatters all over the walls or getting his paint splatters on other student's works but mitsuri really admires him for his confidence in artistic expression (plus it never gets on hers lol).

before school activities: gets up at 5.30 am to make a protein shake with lots of protein powder and work out. always sends a flirty good morning voice memo to his girlfriends which they then proceed to swoon over until they meet in school to have their daily make-out session before class starts (their spot is at the stairwell because they have nothing to hide, though they probably should)

after school activities: in the art club with mitsuri, in the school band playing the trumpet (would be the band major if not for what the teacher described as a "superiority complex") and in the martial arts club with kyojuro, hinatsuru, makio and suma <3. plays video games with kyojuro sometimes and likes going out with his girlfriends to get some more quality time with them if he isn't working out. rarely studies and waits until the last minute to cram for exams, which is why he always needs to buy shinobu's notes so he can pass.

attire: he likes to style his uniform to make it look slightly messier or sewing patches on much to the annoyance of the teachers. he also spends like 30 min of his morning routine styling his hair and meticulously placing the headband on his head.

school bag: matching white backpack with kyojuro. he has the patch "best" on is bag and decorates the surroundings with music patches, pins of explosive and many more so you can't really see the initial design of the bag-

quirk: he has like 5 pet mice because his grandparents breed mice. before he got girlfriends he used to talk to the mice when he felt lonely or mad because of his family so the mice were like his first friends. like iguro he sneaks his mice into school in his locker but theres always one or two which get loose and wreak havoc in the school. tengen always has to run out and catch them before the teachers try to kill them, so his poor mice have escaped death many times
