Maddie's POV: 

"Wow. Today was a long day!" I said to my bestfriend Hannah Abbott. We were walking back to our dorms from the Great Hall after lunch. "It sure was." Hannah replied "I need to go to the library for a while. Are you okay with walking on your own today?" She asked " Yeah sure," I replied.  

So, I started making my way towards the Hufflepuff Commonroom. On my way, I started daydreaming about my crush, The Boy Who Lived. Many other girls also have a crush on him, just because he's famous. That's not why I like him, though. He's not only brave but also cares a lot about the people he loves. He saved Hogwarts from The Basilisk last year and also stopped Voldemort coming back to power the year before.  I just ho-.

Not watching where I was going, I bumped into someone. And that someone was Harry Potter himself. Out of all the people at Hogwarts, it just had to be him, didn't it? 

" Sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." I immediately apologized. " It's okay. I should've watched where I was going myself. Anyway, where were you going Maddie?" Harry replied.

Pushing aside the thought that how he knows my name, I reply" To my Commonroom." 

"Can I walk you there?"

" If you want to."

We then continued our way; talking about anything and everything. Only way too soon my destination arrive and we had to part our ways. " Thank you for walking with me Harry." " No problem. Who wouldn't want to walk with a beautiful girl like you." He then kissed me on the cheek and walked away.  But I couldn't help noticing how close it had been to my lips.
