"Oh don't worry. I'm going to have a lot of fun with Dudley this summer," Harry grinned.

The scene slowly faded, starting from the edges, and soon everything was black.

The memory was over, and Harry came back to reality. As he was forced out of the penseive, He couldn't stop the grin washing over his face - experiencing his most cherished memories all over again was ecstasy, silently wondering why he didn't do this more often.

"So yeah, that's my first year at Hogwarts!" Harry said cheerfully, his eyes cast back (forward?) to his old childhood days.

"Well, that was bloody brilliant!" James exclaimed.

"Dangerous as hell, but still amazing," Lily giggled.

"Fucking amazing, that was. It felt like watching a muggle movie. Except is was waaayyy cooler, since we were actually in the screen!" Sirius yelled.

"Why can't this be made into an actual movie? That would be amazing! And Harry Potter would be a famous name, even to the Muggles!" thought James.

Lily rolled her eyes. "Because of the Statute of Secrecy, you dolt. Exposing the wizarding world to the Muggles is a good idea? Just for a movie?"

James quickly turned as red as Lily's hair. "Yeah, uhh, I know Evans. I'm, err, just saying...." he trailed off.

Harry grinned. "Well actually, it is going to be made into a movie. I heard that it's going to be released next year, in November 2001. They've already selected the cast and everything. And in book form, the first four years of my Hogwarts years have already come out. I have no idea how the author got the information though. Those books are actually extremely accurate! They were written by some JK Rowling or someone."

There was a moment of silence, while the marauders digested this information.

Lily was shocked, and even James looked quite surprised.

"Really? So in your time, us and the muggles, we're, the Muggles know about us?" Remus blurted.

"Well no, they just think that it isn't real. That it's all just a story. It's been published as a fictional book series."

"Muggles must be really thick then," remarked Sirius. James agreed.

"And the books aren't that famous yet, anyway. I only knew about them after Hermione forced me to buy them. But I'm so glad she did though. Like, ever since the first page, I wasn't able to put it down. They're actually some really well-written novels! I honestly don't remember when the last time I was so into a book was," he laughed.

"I'd like to read those books one day," Remus said dreamily.

"Wait, let me get this straight." James started. "Four whole books have been written so far, literally screaming at the reader's about these Wizarding World, but these Muggles still think that we all fake? That it's just some plain old fantasy book series? Okay, Muggles are blithering idiots. OUCH! -- No, I didn't mean it in a degoratory way or anything Evans, don't look at me like that!"

"Wait, Harry. Since when were you a bookworm?"

"I'm not a bookworm! It's just that the books are really interesting! Besides, why wouldn't I want to read a biography of my life?"

"Why are standing here talking about a stupid book series?" asked Sirius.

"It's not stupid..." Harry muttered.

Sirius carried on, pretending not to notice the interruption. "I mean, why stand here discussing books when we could watch Harry's second year? And third year? And fourth year?"

Harry gulped. Up till his second year, everything was basically sunshine, daisies, butter, mellow. In his third year however, the story of the secret keeper would be revealed. And the Marauders were going to kill Wormtail, no doubt. How was he supposed to explain an unexplained disappearance of a student to Dumbledore? The Marauders were all of age, so if they committed a crime, they would be charged like adults. This meant they would get arrested in Azkaban for murder.

So Sirius would still go to Azkaban.

Merlin, Harry felt so overwhelmed by his thoughts. He really needed his friends beside him. Where were Hermione and Ron when Harry needed them? He could barely last a couple of days without them!

He had to distract them somehow, maybe he could --

"Well, bloody hell! What are we waiting for? Let's go see your second year, Harry!" yelled Sirius, interrupting Harry's thoughts just when he was about to form an idea. And now, Harry had forgotten it.

Seriously?

Well, more like Siriusly.

"Oh, erm, no we - we can't!" Harry stuttered.

"Why?"

"Well," Harry began taking a deep breath. "As you said James, my first year itself was like a full three-hour movie. And as you guys already know, the years get more complicated as they progress. So to finish my whole Hogwarts career, its gonna take at least twenty whole hours."

"I get your point, but what do you propose we do then?" asked Remus, arching an eyebrow.

"Well, I'll just tell you everything briefly."

And so he did.

Harry proceeded to narrate his second year normally (there wasn't any new information which would spark any danger by the marauders), quickly explaining everything them from dobby's warning to the slaying of the basilisk, in around ten minutes.

Harry knew that the next few years would get darker and darker. And that it would get harder to hide the bitter truth. And, he would never lie to his parents.

The only idea he could think of at the moment, was simply telling them that he didn't want to say anymore. Though stupid, it was still worth a shot.

"Er, guys, can I stop now? I'd rather not tell you the rest," Harry said quietly.

Remus furrowed his eyebrows with concern. "Why Harry?"

"Well -"

"Harrold. Jonathan. Potter." Sirius started, pretending to be serious. "We are your legal guardians and we have a right to know about your school days. You can't just not tell us about your Hogwarts career!- "

Harry rolled his eyes.

Sirius continued his dramatic monologue. "Your parents die when you're only a year old. They don't even get to see you grow up. The least you can do is tell them now! Murdered oh so brutally by Voldemort, and --"

"Wait!" Harry cried urgently. "Did you say Voldemort? Voldemort. I'm so stupid... Oh, bloody hell..." Harry's face was pale as reality dawned on him

"What, Harry?"

"That encounter we had with Voldemort a couple days ago. He told me in parseltongue that he knew I was from the future. He knows that I'm the chosen one who's supposed to kill him. And I -- " he trailed off.

"Tell us, Harry," Lily encouraged.

He whispered, "I forgot to obliviate him."

Voldemort was undoubtedly formulating another attack. Last time, he came on his own, quite unprepared. This time, he would most likely come with a fully devised plan and a whole army of Death Eaters.

And Harry was right.
