Regulus was horrified to realize there was someone in his room, slapping his face to wake him up, and even more terrified when he saw James Potter in his room, staring down at his face with a frown which soon turned into a grin as soon as he woke up.

"What the hell are you doing here?", asked Regulus, balancing himself on his elbows because James was somewhat leaning towards him.

"You didn't want me to come alone so, I brought Jay with me", said another voice behind him and Regulus was beyond terrified.

James sat up and Sirius with that stupid grin on his face sat beside him. "Morning, Reggie", said James. "Well, it's not quite morning yet."

Regulus muttered a silent Tempus and saw it was just two in the morning. "What the hell are you doing at two in the morning in my dorm? What if someone caught you? What if Slughorn caught you or any Slytherin? Are you two out of your freaking minds?"

Sirius smirked at that and James's grin just got wider. "You are right. He worries about us."

"Anyone would be worried with you two in their life", retorted Regulus.

James rolled his eyes before pulling Reg to sit straight. "You will hurt your back like this. Also, we have a plan."

The mad glint in Sirius eyes scared him as he listened to their stupid plan which couldn't wait till the next morning.

And that's how hours later on the occasion of Valentine's Day, Regulus found himself beside Sirius as his date in the Three broomsticks with James and Remus sitting in front of them.

It was a Hogsmeade weekend and Valentine's Day and all the couples at Hogwarts took advantage of roaming around with their partners at Hogsmeade. Three broomsticks was packed but Sirius and James charmed their way into getting a corner table with Madam Rosemerta.

It was Sirius's idea to take Regulus as his date under a glamour charm when James asked to ask Marlene as his date. Since, James wouldn't have a date, they asked Remus to accompany them. Peter was down with a bug and was mostly sleeping hence, it was only them. Also, Remus already knows about Regulus so, it was a plus.

"Sirius, why am I the one pretending to be someone else in here?", hissed Reg, once he and James were back with mugs of butterbeer.

"Because people would be more weirded out seeing you on a date instead of me, baby. Now smile and feel the love pouring out of my heart for you", said Sirius. Remus snorted and Sirius glared at him. "What? Glamor charm aside, I still love him with my whole heart."

James leaned forward to ruffle his hair. "Also, you are looking cute like a nerd with those glasses. Handsome even but I still prefer your hair Black instead of blonde."

"That made me realize, Jay, I am not into Blondes too", said Sirius.

Regulus looked at Remus. "Remus, would you please help me in killing these two in sleep."

"Whatever frees me from their combined stupidity", said Remus, earning a glare from Sirius.

Regulus smirked. "I don't know how you are the sanest person even with dealing with said combined stupidity on day-to-day basis."

"Yeah, I think Professor Dumbledore should be giving me some sort of medal at the end of my Hogwarts years for dealing with their combined stupidity", said Remus.

"Okay, hold on a second", said Sirius. "Can you stop saying combined stupidity like it's some actual term."

"Also, talking about us as if we are not present here would be appreciated too", James added.

"Dealing with both of your stupidity is called as combined stupidity. Like adding your individual stupidity", explained Remus.

"Like a bigger version of stupidity", said Regulus.

Sirius smacked Regulus at the back of his head before turning to James. "Jay, I told you, these two nerds would destroy the world with their sass if put together."

Regulus opened his mouth to retort but tensed up when Marlene pushed James inside to sit beside him and in front of Sirius and Sirius slipped his hand into Reg's under the table to calm him down. Lily pulled a chair to sit in between the two pairs.

"Marlene, the love of my life", said Sirius, over-enthusiastically, to distract her gaze from Regulus but the girl hardly bothered.

"I see, I am of no use today", teased Lily.

"Lily, the goddess descendant from heaven to grace us mere mortals", he said, without missing a beat.

Lily laughed, slapping his arm. "Of course, ever in your role, you heartbreaker."

"Who is this?", asked Marlene. There was an edge to her voice.

"This is my date Leo", said Sirius, his face slipping into a mask. "Lee, she's Marlene. And as I said Lily."

Regulus gave a little wave to both the girls before turning his gaze downwards. Lily raised an eyebrow. "If Leo is your date, don't tell me you are dating Remus, Potter."

There was a tease in her tone as Remus laughed softly. This has been a story of every Valentine's Day. Them spewing poetries to Remus and either making the boy blush or leave him in an emotional mess.

"What's wrong in dating Remus?", asked James, putting an arm around Remus, a grin on his face.

Lily shrugged. "Nothing. Just that, Remus could do much better than you."

Instead of feeling offended, James's grin got wider. "I will just take care of him until someone better comes to sweep him off his feet."

"Okay, guys", interrupted Remus, "how did I become the topic here?"

"Because you are my favourite Marauder", said Lily.

Sirius crossed his arms in mock offense. "Hey, I am pretty awesome myself."

Lily gave him a once over before glancing at Remus. "And only."

Sirius glared at the girl while trying to calm himself down. She is the mother of his unborn Godson. She would come to love him eventually, he consoled himself.

"Your date?", asked Marlene, completely off the topic. "You dating a Blonde? Do you want me to believe that? When you didn't ask me on a date, I thought you would be goofing around with Potter here. Not dating some random Blonde when you claimed to hate Blondes in general."

"Marlene"

"Mars"

Lily and James looked at each other as they both protested at the same time. Lily shook her head, asking James to continue. "Mars, you crossed a line there. You can talk to Sirius whatever in private but it's not fair to speak ill about Leo. He is innocent here."

Marlene gave one more glare to both Sirius and Regulus before standing up. "Lils, I will go find someone who is worth my time. Join me later."

Lily sighed as Marlene left the café.

"What's up with her?", asked Sirius.

"Sirius, honey, you two are the biggest idiots I have ever met", said Lily. "I know both of you have commitment issues, but you should talk to each other about being in a relationship. You have been going on and off for so many months. Guess, it's not that causal to her anymore. Also, does Remus knows about the baby here?"

Sirius gaped at her horrified but Regulus was somewhat better at hiding his emotions slightly. James literally was making heart eyes while Remus chuckled to himself, not surprised at all. "How?", asked Sirius dumbly.

Lily rolled her eyes. "One, you haven't left his hand since we came. You might be all over Potter but you are careful with physical contact, especially people you have just met. Considering this is someone who doesn't go to Hogwarts, he is new around you. Two, you guys are dramatic. Reg's hair is Black so you made it Blonde. He is a proper pureblood wizard. So, you made him wear jeans because who in their right mind will think a blonde and jeans wearing muggle would be Reg. Three, if it wasn't him, you would have gone after Marlene and you wouldn't have been so defensive in the first place. James's warning was slightly sharp too. Also, Leo? Seriously? Couldn't you think anything original? The constellation of the star he was named after?"

"You know his constellation?", asked Sirius surprised.

"I wasn't asleep during my Astronomy class", said the redhead.

Regulus huffed, crossing his arms, "I told you I would go with RAB. It sounds cool."

Sirius glared at him. "You aren't part of any cool muggle band. When you join one, you could be cool like RAB."

"Merlin, the typical sibling banter", said Lily, rubbing her forehead. "With this bantering, whose stupid idea was him acting as your date?"

"What do you think, Lily?", asked Regulus. "Who comes up with stupid brainless schemes?"

"Hey."

Lily shook her head. "Idiots", she muttered before standing up. "Enjoy your day while I go and find Marlene." While going she leaned down to give a brief hug to Sirius and peck on his cheek before giving a dazzling smile and disappearing out of three broomsticks.

"Wow", said James, looking at her retreating figure, his voice full of amazement.

Sirius shook his head. "I know right. I am impressed too and it's not like I-want-to-marry-her impressed. She is smartest witch of our generation."

"Sirius", muttered Reg, suddenly quiet and uncomfortable beside him.

"Hey, don't worry. She wouldn't say anything to anyone", assured Sirius.

"No, I know that. But did you colour my hair blonde because you hate blondes?", he asked a little hesitantly. The 'do you hate me', question was unsaid but heavily implied.

"What?", he asked. He thought his idea of spending his Valentine's Day with his brother was to prove it to him how he loves the guy but how did he get the wrong idea. He looked at James who rolled his eyes, before leaning forward to ruffle Reg's hair.

"It's because people will recognize your handsome face with that typical Black hair. Seriously guys, how is the most cursed family in the history of wizarding world have all good looks and fancy hair while us good people are stuck with gangly limbs and bird's nest as a hair?"

Sirius just smirked and when he glanced at Regulus, he was sporting an identical smirk. Merlin, he loved the kid so much.
