I'm Back- Drarry
I'm just sick and that's depressing and one of my friends is being depressing and dramatic. Glares at thefanofallfandoms , looking at you here. After the war, Harry went to live in a muggle house, Draco lives with him but still works and does everything in the Wizarding World, Harry has been declared dead after four years of searching for him and Draco is the only one who knows he's still alive in the Muggle world. They're not married, but you can request a marriage one.
Draco looked at Harry sleeping peacefully with a smile, and lifted a hand to move a hair back into place, loving the feel of the silky hair. Harry nuzzled his hand, craving contact. Draco smirked, laying back down next to Harry, smiling as the shorter boy grabbed him around his waist and refused to let go.
After five minutes of this however, he untangled himself from Harry, standing up to go shower. Harry moaned in protest, blindly reaching out for him. "Love, I have to go to work." Draco chuckled, leaning back over and placing a kiss on Harry's forehead.
"No! We 'ave 'alfoy and Black fortunes!" He mumbled sleepily, his eyes barely open.
"Sweetheart, I like going to work remember? And I can't just owl and say, 'Harry Potter doesn't want me to come in!' because they all think you're dead!" Draco crossed his arms, staring down the raven haired boy.
In his sleepy state Harry attempted to cross his arms too, but just ended smacking himself in the face. Draco laughed, "As much as I love you, I have to go shower and get to work!"
Harry sat up quickly from the pillow. "Can I shower with you?"
Draco smirked, "Now that wouldn't get me out of the house faster would it?" He winked once more at Harry before walking into the bathroom.
Harry groaned as he heard the shower turn on, laying back on the bed, shoving his face in a pillow. "I'm thirsty!" He whined, throwing the covers off he opened the bedroom door, stumbling down to the kitchen. He took a kettle out and started to boil water, he grabbed two cups, his favorite with the dogs on it, and Draco's favorite with the cats on it. Just as he placed the mugs on the counter with their different tea bags in it, he felt a rustle at his legs.
"Ripper!" Harry exclaimed happily, bending down to pet his dog. He grabbed a bowl of dog food and set it on the floor, leaning against the counter and watching his dog eat. Draco walked in, standing beside Harry, his hair dripping with water from the shower.
"Where's Lacy?" Draco asked, looking around for his snow white kitten.
The kettle started whistling and Harry grabbed it pouring tea into their cups, watching the steam rise in ways it only did with Wizarding tea, because Draco refused to buy Muggle anything. Harry grabbed the cups off the counter, handing one to Draco and taking a big sip from the other. "So Dray, I was thinking-"
Draco interrupted him with a murderous look. "Don't call me Dray, although it's better than snugglebug! And I didn't know Gryffindor's thought." Harry glared at him and continued as if he hadn't been interrupted.
"I want to go back to the Wizarding World. I'm done hiding out, and I need to see my friends again, they all think I'm dead. It's not fair for them to mourn me when they already have so many others who actually died in the War." Harry held his breath, hoping Draco would approve the plan.
"Love, I think it's crazy." Harry's face fell. "I meant it's crazy to do it right at this second, but you can come into work with me, we'll talk to Kingsley, and you can see Weasel. Kingsley will tell the presses, and bada bing bada boom, you're back!"
Harry nodded slowly, looking as though he was second guessing himself. "Should I come into work with you today? Or should I go tomorrow? Probably today right, I should tell everyone-"
Draco stopped his rambling with a smile. "Love, if you want to come today get your ass in the shower, I have to be there in an hour!" Harry smiled, drinking the last bit of his tea and running up the stairs to the bathroom with Ripper on his heels.
Draco sat down at the kitchen table, sipping his tea and petting Lacy, who was found under the bed. "Lace, you think he's ready to go back?" The kitten meowed softly, rubbing her head against his hand, reminding him of Harry. "I think he is, but I don't know how the others will react to him being back after thinking he was dead for four years." Lacy jumped off the table onto his lap, turning around and finding a comfortable position before laying there to nap.
"Life is easier for cats." he said humorously, finishing his tea. Harry walked in with his hair dripping water all over the floor.
"Talking to cats is the first sign of craziness." Draco grabbed his wand off the table and almost lazily threw a book at him.
"Rude! I was only pointing out that talking to cats is crazy."
Draco glared at him, "Well so is pretending to be dead for four years!"
Harry shrugged, "Can't argue with that!" he exclaimed cheerily.
Harry sat down at the table. "When do we leave?"
Draco leveled him with a stare. "We need ground rules. We go to Kingsley first we don't stop, you wear your invisibility cloak in the Ministry. After we talk to him, you can see Weasel and Granger- Weasley. You can apologize for missing the wedding, I'm staying with you the entire time. You will not be taking pictures for the Daily Prophet we will organize a day and place for that. And remember don't take off the invisibility cloak unless I say so!"
Harry stared at the smug look on Draco's face. "Won't they think it's odd that my arch nemesis from school is with us the entire time?"
Draco smirked. "Well that's up to you. Tell them how much you love me, how we've been together since fourth year, or just say Kingsley put me on chaperone duty. I vote first option because eventually you'll have to tell them. And all my friends know and think I'm in mourning and that's why I don't go out with them that often."
Harry nodded nervously, and walked to the living room to get his invisibility cloak. Draco followed him, grabbing the floo powder off the mantel of the fireplace. "Harry? You want to go first?"
Harry shook his head, and Draco threw a handful in, turning the flames green. "Minister of Magic's Office!" he shouted.
Harry took off his glasses and placed them in his pocket. He threw the cloak over him, checking that it was secure, and grabbed a handful of the green powder, throwing it in. "Minister of Magic's Office!" He stepped in, tumbling out into Ministry of Magic.
He came out next to Draco, then muttered a quick "I'm here". They walked to the Ministers door, Draco knocked firmly. A moment later the door opened, Kingsley looked surprised to see him.
"Malfoy? Come in." Draco and Harry stepped in.
"Minister, Harry Potter isn't dead. He's been hiding in the Muggle World for the last four years." Kingsley sat down at his desk and motioned for Draco to have a seat.
"Those are very serious charges, Mr. Malfoy. Do you have any proof?"
Harry took off the cloak. "Hey, Kingsley." he said, a fearful look on his face.
"Harry?" he asked, breathless.
"Minister, I don't want the world going into panic, so I thought we'd tell you. Then I will get Hermione and Ron into my office, we'll have lunch with Harry and catch up. Then tomorrow we can have him do an interview with the Daily Prophet explaining where he's been."
Kingsley nodded, shock evident on his face. Harry shook his hand, telling about the last four years. Draco looked at his watch and decided it was time to leave. "Harry, Minister, we need to get going, it's almost time for Weasley's lunch break." Kingsley nodded, shook hand with both Harry and Draco and sent them out the door.
Harry slipped the invisibility cloak back on and Draco set a brisk pace for the Aurors department. They got into the elevator, with Arthur Weasley. Draco and Arthur made polite conversation, and soon the elevator dinged and they were on the right floor. Draco stalked over to Ron's office, knocking. The door opened to a very disgruntled Ron. "Malfoy. What do you want?" Draco rolled his eyes.
"I need a meeting with you and Granger in my office. Kingsley said it was immediate." Ron nodded warily, grabbing his lunch off his desk with Hermione following. Harry studied his friends, the years had changed them, and Harry looked the same as always.
The party walked into Draco's office, Draco conjured a sofa with a coffee table and motioned for them to sit. "Harry's not dead." He said bluntly, opening his lunch. The apple in Hermione's hand fell to the floor.
Her voice quivering, "What do you mean he's not dead?" Harry took off the invisibility cloak, waving awkwardly to his friends.
Draco looked in his lunch, groaning at the orange. "Love, you want the orange? I told you not to pack me one." Ron stood up suddenly, embracing Harry, holding back tears. Hermione stood as well, and they all fell back onto the couch. Harry's voice muffled from his friends hugs, replied,
"No! I told you to eat the damn orange!" Draco rolled his eyes, putting the orange on his desk and eating his bagel.
Ron looked at him strangely. "Mate? Why is Malfoy complaining about you packing him an orange and calling you love when everyone thought you were dead?" Harry opened his mouth and closed it again, he looked like a fish.
"Harry James Potter! Four years! You made us think you were dead for four damn years! Do you know how long we searched for you? Hoping our best friend was still alive?" Hermione yelled, hitting him with each word, leaving bruises up and down his arms and chest.
"'Mione, 'Mione please." Harry whimpered, sobbing.
Soon enough, he was covered in bruises and bleeding in a few places, still crying.
Hermione had a look of horror on her face. "What have I done? What have I done?" she whispered.
"It's. Okay. 'Mione." Harry stuttered. "Really." She broke down into tears, disgusted by what she did to her best friend.
"We'll go." Draco said quietly from the corner of the room, dragging Ron out with him. They shut the door and Harry and Hermione were alone.
"Really Harry I'm so sorry. It's just that you left us alone, we didn't know if you were okay or not and then when they said you were dead, it was just horrible and I couldn't stand to think of my best friend-practically my brother de-" She had rambled for far too long, and Harry, now recovered from his tragic weeping, cut her off.
"Hermione Jean Granger, you are my sister, my best friend, my confidant. I know I did some horrible things, and you deserved to get back at me, you really did. We're even now. Sisters and brothers always fight. If they didn't they wouldn't be sisters and brothers. I couldn't ask for anyone better. So, stop your crying and shape up!" he playfully scolded her, getting a laugh.
They hugged and walked towards the door. "We have a lot of catching up to do." Hermione said. Harry nodded, opening the door and walking into Draco's arms.
"Love, you okay?" Draco asked, searching his face for signs of hurt. Harry nodded once again, yawning sleepily.
Draco chuckled. "Been a long time since you've been in the real world!"
Harry glared at him halfheartedly. "The Muggle world is the real world!" Draco nodded condescendingly.
They said goodbye to Ron and Hermione, and apparated home. "Love, was it a good idea?" Harry's face of happiness was enough of an answer, and Draco picked him up, walked upstairs and dropped him on the bed. He grabbed a pair of sweatpants and boxers for himself, and called over his shoulder to ask Harry what he wanted to wear. "I don't want anything!" He said crankily, burying his face into a pillow.
Draco chuckled. "Honey, I'm all for you sleeping naked, but are you sure you don't want pajamas?" Harry provided no reply, so he just grabbed a pair of boxers and threw everything on the bed.
"I'm going to shower, I'll be back!"
Harry mumbled something unintelligibly, turning on his side. He sighed and sat up, throwing all his clothes off and slipping into a pair of boxers and pajamas. He padded back over to the bed, almost laying down on Lacy. "Sorry Lace! C'mere!" He pulled the kitten against his chest, falling back against the pillows. Ripper bounded up on the bed. "Ripper! Calm." The dog sat down quietly.

Soon, Draco was out of the shower.
"Dracoooooooooo! Come lay with meeeeeeee! I'm tired." Harry whined. Draco chuckled, finished putting on his pajamas, and lay beside Harry. "Much. Better."
"I'm so happy that you're officially mine now. You're back. Everyone knows that you are still alive. And my boyfriend."
Harry nodded. "You little sleepy-head." Draco smiled. He wrapped his arms around Harry and pulled him close. "I love you."
"I love you too." Harry whispered.
As they fell asleep, they had no idea what was next to come.
And all night the wizarding world whispered, "He's back."
