Ginny Weasley- Secret: Part 2 (c)
"Maybe we don't start out as slow as we thought," you whispered to Ginny.
The newly formed plan to slowly introduce your relationship to your friends and family wasn't going to stick. You forgot that most of the Weasley siblings had no knowledge of the need to knock before entering a room and seen as Harry and Hermione were with Ron they hadn't either.
"Hi guys," you grinned, trying to compose yourself.
Although you had always been for telling people about you and Ginny with keeping this relationship a secret for so long you never imagined anyone would actually know at all.
"Were you two-" Hermione trailed off not sure how to phrase what they had walked in on.
"We can explain," Ginny said softly.
Ginny kept her head down, her red hair falling to hide most of her face, her eyes down so that she didn't have to make eye contact with anyone. Her voice was shaky and concerned. All of these elements were not how Ginny usually acted. She was a very confident person, so it worried you to see her seem so nervous and scared.
"You better be able to explain," Ron grunted, receiving a punch to the side from Hermione.
"We're together. Have been for a while. We were going to tell you guys, I promise we were but..." you did know how to say it. You didn't want to blame Ginny for it as you agreed and certainly never wanted to make her uncomfortable in telling others however you didn't know how else to say it.
"I didn't want anyone to know," Ginny said, peering through her fiery hair.
Hermione gave the two of you a sympathetic smile, sitting down next to Ginny on the bed to be able to wrap an arm around her.
"You can tell us anything," she smiled warmly. "We don't care if you two are together as long as you're happy."
"I care," Ron interjected.
You snapped your eyes to him, hoping he wouldn't make a fuss. Although Ginny would never admit it, she cared a lot about what her brothers thought and if they didn't accept her being with a girl, it would destroy her.
"About what Ronald?" Hermione said protectively.
"She's my little sister, I don't want her going around snogging some girl," he frowned.
You let out an offended laugh. "Some girl. Yesterday I was the best quidditch player you'd seen since Krum. Last month I was the girl who helped you with your potions homework, but now you know I'm with your sister, I'm nothing?"
Harry turned to Ron. "Ron you're being a bit out of line mate. Ginny and Y/N have been friends for years and we're all friends with her too, why'd you have an issue with them being together if it means they're happy?"
Both you and Hermione held Ginny. Whenever she had the smallest sad moment you did everything you could to support her, help her build herself back up. She pushed both of your arms away standing up and walking close to her brother.
"Ronald Bilius Weasley who I am with is none of your business. Whether they are a girl or a boy, if I decide to be with them then you be happy for me. I don't complain when you're off snogging Lavender Brown, so you haven't got a say in who I snog. Now tell us you're happy for us and that's the end of it," she growled, glaring at her older brother.
Ginny could be terrifying, if she was angry at you, then you were wishing for death as it wasn't a pleasant occurrence.
"I'm happy for you," he whispered before scurrying from the room, leaving Ginny with a chuffed look on her face.
