what happens in muggle studies...

Just trying a new writing technique. Let me know how I do.

The blond hair was surprisingly a mess around his head. Napping on the desk did that to him.

Earlier he'd avoided this hair catastrophe by letting the boy next to him jab him in the ribs each time he looked drowsy, or his head was lulling from side to side. This solution didn't last. His friend too had succumbed to a light slumber

Draco and Blaire couldn't help it. The new professor teaching mughles studies was more boring than a school without Potter.

That's something Draco could go on about. How boring school would be without Potter. Also Potter. He'd done both in the past. Whether it be in the slytherin common room or in their dorm room.

Every Slytherin knew of Draco's obsession. Despite this, no one spoke a word of it to anyone. Slytherin egos prevented it. A Slytherin in love with a Gryffindor? Unheard of. To anyone but Slytherin students.

Droning on, Proffessor Krotpan attempted a joke to regain attention. A couple were awake enough to still fake a laugh so he wouldn't explain as if they were two year olds.

Earlier Draco had sworn to Blaise that the Ravenclaw girls had set up a system where each if them took turns taking notes and laughing at the horrible dad jokes. Blaise had turned down the idea. Now Draco had a chart in his room where he wrote who had stayed awake through the whole class that day. So far it was a consistent schedule that was constructed of seven Ravenclaw girls and one guy.

As those Draco and Blaise slept, someone had woken up from their own nap. They had gotten bored and wanted amusement. This was how Draco awoke to a tickling charm.

Draco fell to the floor moments after it hit, loudly laughing. The sender of the spell had just found Draco's weakness. He was going to use this to his advantage.

fter... The incident... Draco had vowed he would not fall asleep in muggle studies. The sender of the spell remained unknown.

The unremorseful nitwit had used an undetectable spell that they could control from across the castle. There was a giggling boy in the hospital wing for an hour and a half. He'd ended up laughing so hard he cried for the majority of that time.

Draco's vow lasted for about ten minutes before the professors voice pulled him into a dream realm. The dream realm was rudely interrupted near the end of the class.

This time Draco caught a glimpse of a mainical grin that a good scare to him. At least the fear didn't show through the laughter. That would be very un-Malfoy like.

This time the caster held it up even longer.

At this point, Draco's hate for muggle studies had become real, and not just for show.

Each time he would go to class, attempt not to fall asleep, and when he would fall asleep he'd have a rude awakening.

Pansy had kept watch for him one day and found the caster. Honestly the answer shouldn't have surprised him. It was Potter. If it was anyone else, Draco would've gone after them and threatened them. Unfortunately it was Potter. The guy he basically owed his life to because of what happened in the war.

So he'd have to deal with it or stay awake.

Yes he was angry Potter showed his weakness to the whole class, and because of gossip, school as well. Somehow he felt he owed it to the punk.

So for the rest of the year, which was a month and a half, he endured it.

Draco had managed to grab the job he wanted. It baffled both him and his mother that he had been accepted as an Auror.

Then training had been a blast. Everyone had worn glamours so nothing would be biased. Draco had scored second. Then things turned around when they'd revealed every ones identities. Lots were unhappy they'd been beaten by a previous death eater and attempted to get him out. Although that had worried Draco, something had bothered him more. The person who got first was none other than Harry Potter. Said person stood smirking down at him. Of course he had to be taller to, Draco had thought bitterly.

Being teamed with Potter had been terrible for Draco. They'd had to learn to work together first and foremost. Then they had to get over their past. The worst part... They had to get along.

Draco had barely survived the first week let alone the second or the third.

In the end their superior officer had been right that these two would make a wonderful team that didn't mean that Draco appreciated being teamed with Harry one bit.

On a training day, Draco was hit by a spell. A very familiar spell. A very familiar spell that he hated with a passion.

That horrid tickling spell.

When their superior finally told Harry to take it off, Draco's eyes had opened to a pouting Potter.

Within moments Draco was up and in Harry's face. "I am absolutely sick of that spell! If you use it on me one more time I will-" their superior walked by at this moment and reminded Draco that threatening another Auror would be an awful reason to be fired.

Draco was shaking, and his face had begun to turn red. Finally he blurted, "what happens in muggle studies stays in muggle studies!" Then doing a spin Snape would be proud of, he glided off in that angry way that only Snape and Draco could.

Harry was left standing there. A smirk on his face, and another battle between them won. Now to win over Draco's heart. Sadly that included no longer using that tickling spell Hermione taught him until they were on better terms.
