Malfoy becomes an unregistered animagus without anyone knowing (before he becomes death eater) and spys on potter one summer. Soon he realizes that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows for Harry. He sees how the Dursleys treat him and takes him away.

Harry is somehow disabled, (whether it be alcohol, a permanent injury, something short term or long term) and Malfoy takes care of him.

Draco and Harry find out they're soul mates, and they refuse to be together. So their friends attempt to get them together.

Harry and Draco have been married for many years. One day during their work, someone who doesn't want them together obliviates one of them, and they remember nothing of their relationship.

Draco's friends give him a potion that gives him a crush on Harry. At least that is what Draco is told. In reality it was just water. So now Draco thinks he has a crush on Harry, and every time he passes Draco starts acting weirdly.

After war when Draco and Harry are working together, Draco falls asleep with his head on Harry's lap after a long day. When he wakes up, Harry is playing with his hair.

Harry and Draco married. Draco takes Potter as his last name. Shortly after everybody starts saying "Potter" In the same tone as Draco used to say it when they were younger. Or stuff like "my father will hear about this Potter!" Draco loses it when he walks into their house, and Harry says "Potter" to Draco.

Fourth year: every insult Draco makes is really an attempt to compliment him.
"Nice hair Potter."
"Shut it Malfoy"
*whispers to self* "I can't do anything right"

A character with a reputation for being selfish and uncaring gets injured while trying to protect others. They pretend they weren't injured because they want to keep selfish reputation. But they collapse while trying to hide it. (Draco does this)
