"Alright snape" you sat next to the boy you tried your best to always cheer him up from his constant grumpy mood
"Hi" he said grumpily looking over at Lilly
"Oh your not seriously still crushing on her are you?" You sighed
"Why would it matter to you?" He snapped
"I- your impossible" you huff slouching in your chair
"If you must know. No. No I do not have a crush on her any more I have found someone new" he nodded to himself
"Are you sure you have a chance with this one"
"Of course not" he sighed setting aside his book which you picked up. You opened up the book and looked at the writing in the book
"Property of the halfblood prince?" You frowned
"Oh yeh... I-I yeh" Sevrus laughed awkwardly
"What does that mean?" You looked over at him
"It doesn't matter" he shook his head
"Ok" you chuckled and started reading all the corrections.
"So what made you stop liking her?" you ask
"I told you I like someone els" he sighed noting soothing down in his notebook
"Who?" You asked
"I'm not telling you" he shook his head "now leave me alone" he sighed
"Merlin Sevy why are you always in a mood?" He huffed
"Sevy?" He looked over to you
"Yeh I like it it's a shorter version of your name and it's very cute" you shrug. You went to leave when you felt a lose grip on your hand you turned around to see Sevrus frowning slightly "what?" You asked puzzled
"Why do you try?" He asked and pulled you back into your chair
"Why do I try?" You repeated to yourself more than Sevrus
"Being my friend I mean" he said still holding your hand making you try your best to fight back a blush. You thought about this question for a while before you answered
"Well... You always seem so lonely and hurt in some sort of way and it kinda hurts me as well as you, I also think it's because I hate seeing people sad or at least people like you. You're smart and kind and great but people don't seem to see that, but I like to think I do. Do I get you?" You turn to Sevrus who had a quill and started writing something on your arm
"Yes. You're the only person who has came close to that any way... That's why I l-like you. I like-like you" he closed his eyes waiting for a reaction from you
"You like me?" you blushed a deep shade of red
"Yes, I do" he turned to meet your e/c eyes he leaned in and kissed you lightly on the lips "do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked
"Y-yes I do" you smiled and looked at your arm which said 'property of the halfblood prince' "but Sevy?"
"Yes?" He looked at the writing in your arm which you rubbed half of it out and put 'girlfriend' instead of property
"I'm not your property" you chuckle knowing he was only trying to be cute with you
"Right" he chuckled.
