Summary - Katelyn meets her girlfriend's mom for the first time but not the way anyone wanted.

Hermione's POV

Knock knock 

I groaned slightly and sat up. I threw the covers off of me and got up. I walked out of my room and went to the door. I unlocked it and opened it. The sight in front of me made me wide awake. 

"Mom?!" 

Katelyn's POV - Five Hours Later

The elevator door opened and a beautiful woman walked in as I walked out. She winked at me. I recognized her instantly. Once the doors closed I quickly unbuckled Emma from her stroller, picked her up, and ran towards Hermione's apartment. 

I looked at my 5-month-old daughter before getting my key. I unlocked the door and opened it. I walked in and closed the door behind me. I locked it and turned around. I froze at the sight of an unknown woman in my girlfriend's apartment. 

The woman stared at me in confusion and slight fear. I scratched the side of my nose since it was quite awkward. Hermione walked out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. I put a hand to Emma's eyes, "'Mione! Baby!" I snapped. 

She jumped, "what the hel-ck Potter!"

"'M-Mione!" Emma clapped. 

"Hi baby," Hermione said as I moved my hand, "can you ask mommy why you two are in my apartment?!" 

"Honey, who are these people?" the woman asked. 

"Mom meet Katelyn and her daughter, Emma. Kate, Emma, meet my mom, Monica" Hermione replied. 

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Granger," I said. I walked over to Hermione, "I have to go get my stroller. Can you just watch her for like one minute?" I asked. 

"Yeah" she said as she took Emma, "why did you leave the stroller out there?"

"Don't worry about it" I kissed her cheek then rushed out the door. I walked down the hall towards my stroller and grabbed it. I walked it back to Hermione's apartment and walked in. I pushed it off to the side like I usually do. 

Hermione walked out of her room with Emma on her hip. I sat down on the couch and Hermione set Emma in my lap. "So mom, would you mind telling me what you are doing here? Not that I don't, it's just a surprise" Hermione said. 

"Your father and I want you to find somebody to spend the rest of your life with. Remember Isaac? You two were always best friends. He's always had a crush on you, you know? Still does. I actually invited him over so he should be here any minute" she smiled. 

I looked at Hermione. "Mom-" a knock from the door interrupted her. She walked over to the door and pulled it open. A handsome man was standing outside with a giant smile. "Isaac...uh - come in" she moved out of the way and he stepped in. 

"You have a beautiful home" he said. He tried to kiss her cheek but she moved away and closed the door. 

"Thank you. I'm sorry for my mom calling you over-" 

"No no. It's really no big deal. You're mom said that you needed someone to take you to the Christmas party next week" 

"I don't" she said, glaring at her mother, "I have a date"

"'Mione!" Emma clapped happily. 

Hermione smiled and picked her up. She sat down in my lap. "Oh I'm getting dragged into this, ok" I said. 

"Mom, Isaac, I'd like you to meet my girlfriend. Katelyn Potter. She is also my date to the Christmas party" Hermione smiled. 

I wrapped my arms around her waist as the two looked at us in shock. "W-wait" her mom said, "you never told me or your father that you are-" 

"Lesbian" I cut in. Her mother glared slightly at me. "Nice to meet you both" I grinned.
