Summary - During lunch, Hermione performs a song with the help of Astoria, Harry, and Ron

A Week Later

Hermione's POV 

"Are you sure you want to do this, Hermione?" Freya asked, "I know you are mad at Katelyn-" 

"I'm not mad at her, Freya, I hate her. She cheated on me!" I replied, "this is the perfect revenge" 

"Then we can't help you," Draco said. Harry, Ron, Astoria, and I looked at Carter, Freya, and Draco in shock. 

"You can't help us put a cheater in her place?!" Harry almost shouted. 

"She's not a cheater. But you wouldn't know that because you couldn't take two seconds to listen to her, to let her explain! I've known Katelyn my whole life and the things she's done- she doesn't deserve this" Draco shook his head. 

He turned on his heel and stalked off the stage. "Carter?" Ron asked hopefully. 

"You never turn your back on the person who's helped you the most" Carter replied before walking off the stage. 

Everyone looked at Freya. Astoria stepped forward and took Freya's hand in hers, "imagine if it was me who cheated on you...you'd want to get me back, right?" Astoria asked. Freya looked at their hands before nodding. "All right then help-"

"But that's the difference" Freya interrupted as she pulled her hand away from Astoria, "cheating" 

Freya walked down the steps of the stage and went out to the cafeteria. 

I looked at my three best friends. "They chose her over us..." Harry said. I could tell he was hurt. The boy he's had a crush on chose a cheater over him. 

I shook my head, "come on. Let's get this over with" I said. 

Katelyn's POV

Freya sat down at my table and leaned her head on my shoulder. 

"This is all our fault," Draco said, "if Carter and I hadn't written that stupid pros and cons list, you and Hermione would still be together and- and you wouldn't be called a cheater" 

I shook my head, "it's better. This way Hermione doesn't get hurt like I was afraid of and my decision to leave and go to the training facility in Hawaii is much easier" I said. "I just can't believe she believed that I cheated on her...maybe we weren't doing as well as I thought" I sighed.

"Hello everyone!" A voice came from behind the curtain. The cafeteria quieted down as the lights dimmed a bit. "I have a song that I want to sing for all of those that have been cheated on" 

My eyes widened as everyone looked over at me. I swallowed hard under the intense gazes of the student body. The curtains opened and Hermione was standing on the stage. 

"This is a shout-out to my ex!" she sang just as the back-up band from the speakers started. Everyone cheered except for me, Carter, Freya, and Draco. "Heard she in love with some other chick! Yeah yeah, that hurt me, I'll admit. Forget that girl I'm over it!" 

"Obviously not" Carter muttered causing Draco to elbow him in the gut. 

"I hope she gettin' better sex, Hope she ain't faking it like I did, babe," Hermione said. 

"OOH!" everyone yelled and laughed at me. 

I rolled my eyes. "Took four long months to call it quits! Forget that girl, I'm over it!" she sang, "guess I should say thank you for the hate you's and the tattoos, oh baby, I'm cool by the way! Ain't sure I loved you anyway" 

My throat closed up as I stared at Hermione. Ain't sure I loved you anyway repeated in my head hauntingly. 

"Go 'head, babe, I'mma live my life, my life, yeah

"Shout out to my ex, your really quite the woman! You made my heartbreak and that made me who I am! Here's to my ex, hey, look at me now! Well, I'm, I'm all the way up! I swear you'll never, you'll never bring me down!" she sang. 

"We should leave-"

"No," I said, "just let her do it" 

Freya nodded slowly. "Oh, I deleted all your pics! Then blocked your number from my phone! Yeah yeah, you took all you could get, but you ain't getting this love no more! 'Cause now I'm living so legit! Even though you broke my heart in two, baby! But I snapped right back, I'm so brand new, baby!

"Girl, read my lips, I'm over you, over you, uh!" Hermione stopped singing after that. She was breathing heavily and her cheeks were flushed. 

The cafeteria roared in cheers. People started throwing their food at me. I grabbed my bag right when something hit me in the face. I caught sight of Hermione, Ron, Astoria, and Harry who were staring at our table. 

I shot them a wicked glare before grabbing Freya and the four of us running out of the cafeteria.
