Summary - Hermione finds a pro and cons list laying out when she and Lily get back from shopping

Katelyn's POV

I rolled my eyes at Draco and Carter. Freya scoffed at the idea. "What? If we make the pros and cons list it will be easier for Katelyn to make a damn decision about her girlfriend!" Carter said. 

"Fine" I sighed. 

"All right. Pros and cons of her still being with you because of missions" Draco said, "some pros" 

"She's smart," I said, "she could help us on something that requires research"  

"That will be really helpful...especially with these morons", Freya muttered as she jutted a thumb in the direction of Draco and Carter. 

I agreed. "I wouldn't break her heart," I said. Carter jotted it down. 

"Some cons?" Draco asked. 

"I can't live without her...she could get hurt...I love her..." my phone rang interrupting my thoughts. I took it out of my pocket and answered, "'Ello?" 

"Kate! Where the hell are you guys!" Jessica snapped. 

"Jessica, calm down! We'll be right there!" I said, rolling my eyes with a smile. 

"Hurry up!" 

I ended the call and got off the couch. "Let's rollout, weirdoes" I grinned. We all ran out to my car. 

Hermione's POV

"Thank you for helping me with shopping today, Hermione" Lily, my girlfriend's, mother said. 

"It's no problem, Lily, really," I said as I set the bags on the counter in the kitchen. I went out into the living room and found a piece of paper on the table. I furrowed my brows and grabbed it. I read it. It was a pros and cons list. 

Jessica

Pros:                                           Cons
-She's smart                              -Can't live without her
-Can help out with research           -She could get hurt
-Wouldn't break her heart              -Loves her

I felt my heartbreak into a million pieces. 

"Hermione? What is that?" Lily asked as she walked over. I looked at her with tears in my eyes and slowly handed her the paper. She took it and read through it. "Oh Katelyn..." she mumbled, "I'm so sorry, dear. We'll confront her. Sit down and let's talk." I sat down and she sat on the opposite couch, across from me. "Has she done anything to make you think she might not want to be with you anymore?" she asked softly. 

"No, not at all. I thought we were doing great but...I guess I was wrong" I replied. 

Katelyn's POV

I walked up the steps of my porch and turned to Alexander and Jessica, "I'll be right back" I said. They nodded. I walked into my house and left the door open and kept the screen closed. I walked passed the living room and caught glimpse of two familiar people. She walked backwards and stopped in the entryway. 

"I didn't know you two would be home so early" I smiled as I kissed my moms cheek and then tried to give Hermione one but she moved away. I gave her a concerned look as I pulled back. Hermione was staring at the table while my mom was looking at me in disappointment, "am I missing something?" I asked, confused. 

"Who is Jessica?" asked Hermione. 

I looked at her even more confused, "what?" 

"Who. Is. Jessica?" she snapped, throwing a piece of paper down on the table. I blinked. "Because you're obviously in love with her" Hermione glared at me. 

"Woah- wait!" I said throwing my hands up, "what?!" 

"The list Katelyn" my mother sighed, "who is this Jessica girl?" 

"KATELYN!" Alexander yelled. My head snapped towards the screen door and I saw a van driving away. 

I ran out and helped Alexander up. Jessica was gone, inside the van. I grabbed my bow and arrow out of the back and shot it into the sky. Red smoke came out of it as it blew up. A green one exploded by the Malfoy's house, an orange one by Carter's house, and a purple one by the Malfoy house as well. 

I set my bow and arrow down. "Come on," I said as I ran after the van with Alexander close on my tail. 

Hermione's POV

I crumbled the paper up and threw it, tears spilling from my eyes. I put my face in my hands and sobbed. Lily rushed over and whispered soothing words to me. 

We are over my mind repeated.
