Summary - The Grangers try to go after Hermione for her life choices while everyone gets to know Katelyn Potter

Nobody's POV

"Mom!" Rose and Hugo shouted as they almost tackled her in a hug. Katelyn laughed and hugged them back, kissing both their foreheads. Harper hugged her as well which Katelyn gladly returned. 

"Uh- who is this?" Amelia, another one of Hermione's least favorite cousins, said. 

Hermione stood and walked over to Katelyn and gave her a quick kiss before turning back to her family. To say her family was shocked would have been an understatement. They were astonished, completely stunned. 

Katelyn whispered something to Harper and Rose. The two girls rushed off barely letting Katelyn finish her sentence. Hermione raised an eyebrow at her wife. "Scorpius and Luther" she shrugged. 

"Don't tell me you brought Malfoy with you" 

"I didn't. He's having Christmas with Narcissa" Katelyn said. She turned towards the Granger family, "sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Katelyn Potter-" Mr. and Mrs. Granger gasped making everyone look at them. 

"Y-you m-mean the K-Katelyn Potter?" Mrs. Granger asked, amazed. 

Hermione groaned slightly, "it's like fifth-year all over again" 

Katelyn chuckled and nodded at Mrs. Granger, "yes. I'm sorry I couldn't bring Harry, he was being a pest" 

"What's so good about her? They are both dykes" Melina said, huffing slightly. 

Katelyn straightened up a bit more, "Hugo-" 

"-Yep, yep, have fun" Hugo interrupted as he bolted out of the room. 

Hermione put a hand on Katelyn's arm, "don't-" 

Katelyn silenced her with a look. Hermione plopped back down on the couch. "I've heard a lot about you...Melina correct? Amelia, Jessica, and Josiah?" the four looked at each other. "I'm Katelyn Potter. I have known Hermione since we were eleven. We have been together for 26 years. Dating for five, engaged for 1, and married for 20. No one loves her more than I do and if you can't respect that keep your damn mouth shut or I'll give you something to complain about. Hermione is better than all of you even if you don't think so. She's done more for this world than any of you. I don't expect you to believe that. But I do expect you to believe this. If you come after my wife I will come after you and it will not be pretty" then Katelyn sat down next to Hermione and grabbed her hand. 

Hermione's face was the same as a tomato. She kissed Katelyn's cheek. The whole family was deathly silent as they stared at the two. 

"I like her," said Hermione's grandpa. 

Everyone laughed except for Melina, Amelia, Jessica, and Josiah, they were too busy shitting their pants. 

The kids came back in and finished opening their presents. The rest of the day was peaceful and the Granger family warmed up to Katelyn which was a relief but both Hermione and Katelyn agreed that this would not happen again unless it was completely necessary.
