Little Bowtruckle (Newt Scamander x Reader)
"NEWT SCAMANDER! OPEN THIS DOOR, NOW!", you yelled with all the voice you had, while knocking at the door as hard as you could. Nothing happened. You sighted, pulled out your wand and screamed again: "Okay, since you don't seem to be interested at all, I'll blow up the door. I've warned you. BOMBARDA!" Whit a noisy BOOOM the door and a good piece of wall were blowed in the air and smashed around, covering the floor with debris. You slowly moved to the hole that became the new house-door. You could hear the rumor of running feet and suddently a young, shocked man stood in front of you. His face was white of fear, so that one could see his freckles, he had curly brown hair and dark, friendly eyes. A blue cloak hang on his shoulders and a yellow-black Hufflepuff scarf was half wrapped around his neck. "Y/N...", the man mumbled in confusion, "When you said that, I thought you were joking." You crossed your arms. "Newt Scamander, I never joke. What the hell are you up to? I've been calling you for ages, I sent owls, and now you wouldn't open the door even if the house was on fire." Newt looked at his feet in shame, blushed, wrapped the scarf better around his neck, opened and closed again a pocket of his cloak, stared another few seconds at his feet before he muttered: "I, ahm, you see... I, my animals, well, so... ahm, and you.. I... you know...it's so..." You had a closer look at his clothes. And you finally realized. "You... you're leaving... without even telling me?! FOR MERLIN'S BEARD YOU... YOU STUPID NIFFLER-UNCLE! YOU SICK HYPPOGRIF! WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR BRAIN?!" You were trembling of anger. Newt ment the world for you, you were the first who saw his magic suitcase and his animals, and now he just wanted to leave for one of his adventures. Newt passed a hand between his hair, his face as red as a pepper. "Y/N, I... I know I did wrong, I know I should have told you, I know I acted as a... as a sick Hyppogrif like you said, but if I had told you, you surely wanted to come with me and..." -"WELL YES OF COURSE AND ALSO IF? I ALWAYS CAME WITH YOU, EVEN WHEN WE FOUND FRANK IN EGYPT..." He nervosly chewed his nails. "Well that's the point... Frank. He..." You immediately stopped a second scream session. "What? He isn't sick or something, is he?" The Thunderbird was your absolute favorite. You helped Newt saving him in Egypt and since then he liked you as much as he liked Newt, maybe even more, and you loved taking care of him. Newt answered: "No, no, absolutely not, he's fine but... I've decided to bring him back where he belongs. And you like him so much I was afraid you would not allow me to do this or you would be too sad... so I wanted you not to know I'm leaving for the States." He got very interested in his feet again. You were just able to stare at him, incredolous. Then you raised your wand. He looked up. "What're you..." -"I'll turn you into a pygmy puff. It's far more intelligent then you. I do believe when you're a pygmy puff you'll turn to your senses again." Newt stared back. "Wait! Does that mean... does that mean it's okay with you? You won't be sad or something?" -"You'd really suit a pygmy puff. For Merlin's scarf, Newt, of course it's okay with me. I just want the best for your animals, as much as you do! It's amazing Frank can go home! The best thing a Thunderbird could wish for!" Newt shily smiled. "Oh... o-okay. I mean I really thought you'd be sad. I-I don't want you to be sad. At all. So...I'm glad you're not sad. Really. Do you still want to turn me in a pygmy puff if I say I'm glad you're not sad?" You slowly put the wand away. "Only if I can come with you." He smiled brightly. "Of course! I never asked more." And he pulled you in a strong, loving hug. Suddently, a little green thing came out of Newt's shirt-pocket. He looked at you in a mix of confusion and sadness. Newt kindly smiled at him. "Don't be jealos, Pickett. You know I like you more than Y/N." -"Don't trust him, Pickett. He likes me more." Newt sighted. "You're impossible, you two. You're two little jealous Bowtruckles." You looked at him like a angry child. "You really don't need to lecture me, Newt Scamander, you..." -"Oh, come here, you little Bowtruckle." And he hugged you again.
