I hate you? || Oliver Wood

Hello, sorry for this imagine you can't be in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, sorry!

It was a Wednesday morning and sadly only half way through the week. You had a free period now and were just wondering the corridors of the school. It was a cold morning, the stone walls of the corridors seemed to be full of cracks letting all the cold air from outside. The wind rattled the windows as you walked down the the third floor corridor.

As you were about to turn around the corridor an all to familiar voice cut through the silence like a knife.

"Hello, (y/n), you're looking lovely as ever ." Oliver Wood stood halfway down the corridor you were just about to leave. A smirk on his face and his hands in his pockets, you rolled your eyes.

"Piss off, Wood. I'm in no mood to deal with you atrocious flirting skills." You sighed, crossing your arms over your chest. Oliver laughed.

"Oh come on, (y/n). One date, that's all I'm asking for, it'll be worth it." He grinned stepping closer to you but you backed up.

"I've said it a hundred times before and I'll say it again; No. Now bugger off before I hex you." You snapped, turning around and walking away.

"I won't stop until I get at least a date from you!" He called after you, you groaned but kept walking.

"That'll never happen, Wood." You answered, walking away.

You entered the library where you knew one of your best friend would be. You saw her bent over a book and reading it quickly and taking notes.

"Hello, Angelina." You sighed and plopped down in front of her, Angelina briefly looked up from the book she was reading and then back down.

"Hey (y/n), what's up?" She asked, continuing to take notes on whatever she was reading, which turned out to be a Charms text book.

"Are you studying for your O.W.Ls?" You asked, looking around the library for other fifth year students, Angelina nodded. You were in your seventh and final year of Hogwarts, "It's Wood, he won't stop asking me out, he is really irritating me." You groaned and put your head in your hands.

"Well, why don't you just go out with him?" She answered, again not looking up at you.

"Because I hate him." You snapped, causing Angelina to look up with her eyebrows raised.

"No you don't." She scoffed, you rolled you eyes.

"Yes I do." You shot back, Angelina laughed.

"Just keep telling yourself that."

It was the afternoon and you had Care of Magical Creatures with the Gryffindor's, which meant you had to spend and hour with the boy you hated. You trudged down to Hagrid's hut with the rest of your house, the Gryffindor's were already there.

"Alright, todays lesson we will be looking at Fire Crabs, however, some have gotten away so I need you to go off in pairs to find them." Hagrid said, a look of guilt on his face.

You turned to your friends but that had already gotten into pairs so you had to find someone else. Your eyes scanned the crowd for someone to partner up with.

"Need a partner?" Oliver Wood stood behind you, you rolled your eyes and turned to face him.

"No." You answered, moving to turn away agin but Oliver caught your arm and turned you back around.

"Yes you do." He grinned.

"I can do it on my own." You snapped, pulling your arm out of his.

"I know, but Hagrid said-" Wood started but you cut him off.

"I know what Hagrid said." You groaned, you thought for a second and looked around to see that everyone else already had a partner, "Fine." You sighed. Oliver smirked.

You pulled out your wand and started to walk towards the Black Lake, you could hear Oliver jogging to catch up with you. Through out the lesson Oliver kept trying to talk to you or get you to talk but you refused by only giving him one worded answers.

As the pair of you started to head back to Hagrid's hut Oliver shouted something and pulled you towards him and as he did a jet of fire flew past your head. Your body was pressed up against Olivers and your noses were almost touching.

"Thanks." You muttered, turning around and stunning the Fire Crab before levitating it as you walked back.

For the rest of the week Oliver Wood kept on dancing around in your mind, which greatly irritated you. But now it was the weekend which meant only one thing, quidditch. Your house would be playing against Ravenclaw. You were a chaser on the team and were very excited.

As the match proceeded the game became dirtier and dirtier. Both sides were doing anything to win. Luckily your team was in the lead. You had the quaffle and were speeding up the field when a bludger came out of no where and hit you in the back of the head. The last thing you remembered was dropping the quaffle and falling sideways off your broom.

You woke up and saw nothing but white for a couple of seconds before your eyes focused on your best friends face. He grinned at you from the seat he was sitting in. You sat up, your head throbbing.

"What happened?" You croaked, looking over at (y/b/f/n), he smiled sadly at you.

"During the match one of the Ravenclaw beaters hit a bludger at your head and you fell unconscious, but Oliver Wood stopped you from hitting the ground using some spell. He took you up to the hospital wing and then he left, he was talking about the Ravenclaw beaters. It turns out he had hexed them so badly that they had to come in here too." He pointed at two beds at the end of the room.

Your mind was going a million miles an hour. You thought that Oliver just flirted with you for fun and didn't really mean anything. But now you realised that he wasn't just messing around, he really did care about you. You lept out of bed.

"Where are you going?" (y/b/f/n) shouted after you as you opened the door to the hospital wing.

"I'm going to find Oliver." You shouted back and ran down the corridor.

As you ran through the castle, you thought of what you were going to do when you found him. You had no clue, all you knew was that you had to find him now. You ran down the marble stair case and then you saw him, walking towards you. He looked up and smiled but then if faltered and worry replaced it.

"(y/n), shouldn't you be in the hospital wing? You're-" He started but you cut him off by pressing your lips against his. He smiled and kissed you back, your hands went to his hair as his went to your cheeks.

"Thank you." You grinned pulling away, Oliver looked dumb struck.

"Does this mean you'll go on a date with me now?" He asked, his signature grin back. You laughed, nodded and kissed him once again.
