The D.A meeting had just ended and you were walking back to the common room but you had forgotten your bag, so you walked back into the room of requirement to get it. But when you walked into the room, you saw your boyfriend, Seamus Finnigan, kissing Lavender Brown. 

You gasped, causing Lavender to pull away, Seamus looked mortified, "Oh no, carry on by all means, just forget about me!" You yelled at them, grabbing your bag and storming out into the corridor.

 "No (y/n)! It's not what it looks like, please let me explain!" He yelled,  but you had already ran out of the room and down the corridor. 

You could hear foot steps coming from behind you, so you sped up and ran into the Gryffindor common room. 

You were about to go up stairs when Seamus ran through the portrait door and shouted, "(y/n) please listen to me!" 

"Just leave me alone Seamus!" You shouted, and ran off to your dorm. You ran and crawled into bed and cried yourself to sleep not caring about all the overdue homework you had to do.

Over the next couple of days you were a mess, you couldn't eat or sleep. Your friends did their best to try and help you, but your mind was always else where. You flat out refused to talk to Seamus, your pride got in the way and you simply just didn't want to look at him. So when he tried to talk to you for what felt like the hundredth time, you blew up.

"Please just let me explain." Seamus pleaded with you as you glared at him, the corridor that the two of you were now in was empty.

"Piss off, Seamus, I don't want to talk to you." You spat, your anger filling you up, making you feel like you were going to explode.

"Please-" He started but you cut him off.

"Shut up, Seamus. How many times do I have to tell you to bugger off! I don't want to talk to you, what part of that phrase confuses you? Just get it through that thick head of yours that I don't want to talk to you!" You shouted, your face red with anger.

"If you just let me-"

"No!" You shouted over him, "There is nothing you could possibly do or say that could make this better. You betrayed my trust, that is something that I find completely unforgivable. If you ever come near me again I swear to God all mighty that I will hex you into next year, got that?" You exclaimed, raising an eyebrow. But before he could say another word you had turned around and walked off down the corridor.

Despite the fact that you missed him so much, that all you wanted to do was forgive him and hug him, hold him; you couldn't. This was his fault and you could never forgive him. He had hurt you too much to forgive him. 

Once the anger that had fuelled you had burnt out, all you were left with was heartache. The pain in your chest was unimaginable. Your heart felt like it had been ripped in two. But you knew it would get better, it had too. You would move on one day; but for now, you were heart broken.
