For 2 weeks, Hestia stayed at Spinners End, making numerous potions with Severus. He learned how to smile again and she regained her laughter and acted like a child her age feeling his paternal love. 

(She was mature for her age which was not surprising, considering what she's been through, with a brother to look after.)

Severus was sitting at the kitchen table with a new academic paper about wolfsbane potion. Hestia came with two plateful of food and put them down on the table. Just then an owl flew in with a plump envelope in its beak. It was the list of books which came from Hogwarts.

"Seriously, seven books of Gilderoy Lockhart? Why do I have to waste my money on this rubbish?"

He just patted her head and started to eat. 

After breakfast, she asked if they could go to Diagon Alley today.

"Go and prepare"

Yes! she cried, and after giving him a kiss on his cheek, she ran upstairs to get changed. 15 minutes later she ran down and eagerly took his hand.

They first went to the Apothecary to refill her materials for potions. Then they went to the pet shop to buy things for Lay and Ignazio. (Lay now liked her very much, considering her as its new owner.)

Finally they went to Flourishes and Blots for books. She quickly bought her school books and some books about dark arts, Runes, and Latin. as she paid, she met Fred.

"Oi! Harry! I found Hestia!"

"...I do want to kill you Fred." she muttered as she was dragged toward the center of the shop where Lockhart was smiling with Harry tucked under his arm. He reached out towards her, but she somehow wiggled out and escaped. 

She went out and tried to calm down since she was having a severe headache when she heard that Lockhart was going to be her DADA professor.

A/N :

Okay guys I'm SOOOOO sorry for not updating for so long. I just smacked into a writer's block and was going through My_Writing_Is_Shit period. Just to get my mind cleared, I started a new Harry Potter + Twilight crossover in Korean fanfiction website. If you want to read it just comment (though I think nobody is reading this story right now...) 

Anyway, I'm currently writing this at school with my laptop, and I unfortunately don't have my storyline note book with me. I'll update as soon as I get home, which is about 5 hours later.
