I tapped my finger on my desk and waited for my boyfriend of a year to make it to class with his friends. Since we had started to date I have noticed that he is late to class a lot and that he leaves school to visit his sick grandmother a lot.

"Come Back! Moony I love you!" A voice whined.

I rolled my eyes and turned to see Remus walk into the room with a whining Sirius, and a laughing James and Peter.

"I only love one person and that isn't you." Remus said with a smirk.

"You did this! You took our Moony away!" Sirius whined.

I burst out laughing as Remus set beside me and shook his head.

"So... what did you say to him this time?" I asked with a smile.

"He asked if I was going to help with the prank this afternoon and I said I couldn't because I promised to take you to Hogsmeade." He said with a smile.

I smiled as I squeezed his hand and he kissed my forehead. Soon class started and we listened to our professor until it was time to leave.

"I'll see you in a few." Remus said as he pecked my lips.

"I better see you." I said as I sent him a frown.

He held a laugh in and sent me a wink before he walked away. It wasn't long before I changed clothes and made my way to Hogsmeade. I waited for Remus at our spot and bit my lip. After waiting for thirty minutes I got cold and decided to go inside.

"What are you doing alone?" A voice asked.

"Waiting for Remus." I said as I turned to see Severus Snape.

"I thought I saw him snugging a girl at the school." He said calmly.

"When?"

"A few minutes ago. Thought it was you at first." He said as he shrugged his shoulders.

I felt my heart stop as he walked away. At first I kept saying it couldn't be true but as time passed and Remus didn't show up I realized that it had to be true. I heard the door open and turned to see Remus walk in with his friends.

"That was great Moony!" Sirius exclaimed cheerfully.

"Yea! Didn't know you had it in you." James said with a smile.

I felt tears stream down my face and I watched as Remus' eyes landed on me.

"(Y/n)! I am so sorry I forgot all about this afternoon." He said as he rushed up to me.

"I know... I know about your secret.... and I hate you Remus Lupin! You're nothing but a monster!" I yelled as I pushed past him.

I wouldn't see or speak to Remus until nearly  nineteen years had past. It was during the second war and James and Lily had both been killed. Severus became the new Potions Master, Sirius was a refuge, and I had become a curse breaker.

I let it a sigh as I pulled my clock closer and walked beside my student and friend, Bill Weasley.

"We should be there soon." He said softly.

"Never thought I would have to fight in another war." I said softly.

"You ever met the Order of the Phoenix?" He asked softly.

"I was a member. I never went to the meetings, but I helped in the fights." I said softly.

He nodded his head and I held my breath as we walked into the house. We made it to the kitchen and I removed my clock.

"Everyone will be down shortly." Molly said softly.

I nodded my head and set beside Bill and waited for the others. I felt my heart stop as I saw a tall man enter, he had long black hair and grey eyes.

"Well if it isn't (Y/n) (L/n).... never thought I would see you." He said with a frown.

"Sirius I see you still are the same." I said calmly.

"I see you are a racist pig." He said angrily.

"What does that mean?"

"You know what it means." He growled out.

Before I could say anything else more people came in. I listened as Sirius talked to the members of the order and then I heard my name.

"So.... you're (Y/n) (L/n)?" The red haired girl asked shocked.

"You must be Ginny, Bill has told me a lot about you." I said with a smile.

"Is it true.... about you fighting against Umbridge about the law against Werewolves?" She asked softly.

"Yea, She is the lead supporter on it. She has got over a list of a thousand people who claim that they have worked with werewolves and they are just like us." Bill said happily.

" Hypocrite." Sirius whispered.

"Okay what is your problem?" I asked angrily.

"You know what you did?"

"Actually I don't! Since me and your cheating best friend broke up you have treated me like a dog!" I yelled angrily.

"Cheating?" He asked shocked.

"Yes cheating."

"Wait what are you talking about? Remus didn't cheat on you."

"Severus told me he caught Remus kissing another girl... he said he thought it was me at first but I was in Hogsmeade waiting for Remus." I said angrily.

"Snape told you that Remus Lupin cheated on you... the same Remus Lupin that could hurt a fly?" Sirius asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Severus wouldn't lie to me."

He sent me a look and I felt my eyes go wide.

"Oh my Merlin... he lied.. didn't he?"

He nodded his head and I let out a groan.

"Wait... if Remus didn't cheat on me... then why did he think we broke up?" I asked as my eyes landed on Sirius.

He bit his lip and I felt my heart stop.

"He thought it was because you learned he was a werewolf."

I covered my mouth and felt my heart shatter.... Remus thought that I hated him because of his disease... and in reality I hated him because a close friend had lied to me.

"Sirius... where is he?" I asked softly.

"Up stairs... when Bill said you where coming... he decided to stay up there."

I stood up and he grabbed my hand.

"He is on the first door at the top of the stairs... fix my best friend." He said softly.

I nodded my head and walked out of the room and up the stairs. When I made it to the room I gently knocked on it.

"Come in!" A deep voice said.

I held my breath as I opened the door and walked into the room. In a chair with a book in his hand was a tall man with short brown hair. His face was littered with scars and his clothes were baggy. He looked up and his eyes instantly went wide when they met mine.

"Hello Remus." I said softly.

"(Y/n).... I didn't expect to see you." He said softly.

"I..."

I held in a breath of air and then let it out quickly.

"Severus said you were cheating on me!" I yelped out.

He looked at me shocked and I looked at the ground.

"What?" He asked shocked.

"Sixth year.... the reason I broke up with you... it was because Severus told me he saw you kissing another girl..... and I believed him... that's why I called you a monster and said I hated you...... I didn't... Remus I never hated you because you were a werewolf." I said as tears streamed down my face.

"Why didn't you come to me?" He asked as he gently took my hands.

"I don't know... I was so angry that when I saw you with your friends... I snapped... you always kept things from me and... and well I didn't even learn about you being a werewolf until last year."

"I'm sorry... maybe if I would of told you the truth.... non of this would of happened." He said as he let out a sigh.

"I.. I'm sorry too... Remus I made you think that I thought you were a monster.... I can't imagine what went through your head... I know you must hate me-"

I was cut off by him leaning down and roughly pressing his lips against mine. I let out a sigh as I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.

"I could never hate you.... no matter what you do I'll always love you." He whispered against my lips.
