You were going to go to Hogsmeade with your boyfriend but he had to catch on homework again. It was early but you knew Fred, George and Lee always met up at the Three Broomsticks early. You glanced at your jacket but decided against taking it with you.

You slid into your spot in the booth next to George and across from Fred. "Guess who's back?" You asked smiling. "Where's Adam?" Fred asked. "He had a potions essay to write." Fred scowled. "Oh, (Y/N) you're a girl," Lee stated and you nodded. "Explain to George why he shouldn't go up to Angelina and kiss her instead of asking her out." You turned to George. "Well there's this thing called consent, George." Lee and Fred snickered. "And she would be more inclined to go out with you or just kiss you, whatever you're in to, but she'd be more inclined if you had her consent." He nodded. Fred looked annoyed and you tried to turn to see what he was looking at but he stopped you. "I'm your best friend right?" You nodded. "And you trust me?" He asked. "Sometimes, now being one of those times." He nodded. "Then don't turn around." You nodded warily. "Get up (N/N)." George said, nudging you as you stepped out the booth. Him and Fred switched spots. Lee began to tell a story and you laid your head on Fred's shoulder, in a friendly manner of course. He turned and you felt him tense. You sat up. "What's wrong?" He didn't answer, just shook his head and stood up. "Let's go get candy guys. You like chocolate frogs and sugar quills so I'll get you some (Y/N)." He started to walk put with you, George, and Lee in tow. You bought candy and were walking down the sidewalk. You shivered and Fred noticed. "You cold (N/N)?" You nodded. "I shouldn't have left my jacket, I almost brought it too."  You said continuing to walk. You felt Fred wrap his jacket around your shoulders. "Thanks sweetie." You said jokingly, smiling at him. Fred smiled but sighed. "You can't make jokes like that (Y/N), you have a boyfriend." You rolled your eyes. "Yeah that ditched me to hang out with his friends." Fred's eyes widened. "You knew?!" He asked continuing to walk a bit far behind Lee and George. "Yeah, potions essay my butt, we're in the same potions class." All of the sudden a Hufflepuff girl in Ginny's year ran up to the two of you. "You guys are such a cute couple!" She gushed and you and Fred blushed. "Actually we aren't dating." You told her. "Are you sure? Cause I'm not. You guys look perfect together!" You smiled. "Thanks but I'm pretty sure and I have a boyfriend already." She frowned and walked off. "We just crushed her dreams." You and Fred laughed. "And speak of the devil." You said, seeing your boyfriend stomp towards the two of you. "Weasley! What do you think you're doing with my girlfriend?!" He yelled and you rolled your eyes. "I'm pretty sure he was talking." Adam glared at you and then the jacket. "Who's jacket is that?" He asked and you glanced at it. "Well it's not yours." You smiled cheekily. He exhaled. "Weasley, why are you hitting on my girlfriend?" Adam shoved Fred back while Lee and George were just watching. Fred was about to say something and George was about to step in when you shoved Adam back a lot harder. "Why are you shoving my best friend?" He glared at you. "What's your problem?" You raised your eyebrows."That you keep ditching me for your friends." "It's not my fault they're more fun." You backed up, now standing next to Fred. Adam looked down. "Hey Adam, guess who's single now? I'll give you a hint, it's you." He stomped off and Fred put an arm around your shoulders. "You ok?" You looked up at him. "Are you kidding me? Do you know how long I've wanted to do that? I mean only a day but still!"
