As young Harry sat on the large red chair slowly sucking his thumb as he hiccuped every now and again his big blue eyes would wonder around the large room to everyone there.  Teachers large and small, all the different rankings Mr Flich plus his cat and everyone else was there to talk about what to do with the young child. When Hagrid spoke up

What if young Potter were to stay here at Hogwarts, we could all care for him

Everyone looked around slowly at each other at random places even at the young Potter and thought, and in hindsight Hagrid was right no where would be as safe as Hogwarts and they already know that young Lily's last know family alive is her muggle sister who hates magic with a passion and that would not be a place for this young boy to grow and learn. Here at Hogwarts the young Potter could start learning from a young age and every teacher could teach him what they are skilled in. It was brilliant, all they needed was the headmaster to agree. So they all ended up looking at the old headmaster all thinking the same but for different reasons.

All right but he will need to live permanently in one quarter he can't be getting constantly getting moved around and one guardian and everyone else can be called what they wish to other then mother or father, understood

They all nodded in agreement and began to discuss who young Harry would live with when Hagrid put his had up

I offer to take the young fella in, I don't have to teach classes and only mind the yards I can take in the little fella no problem as long as I get help because he is gonna be a trouble maker this one is just like his old men

All the teachers in the room nodded seeing the logic and all said good night to each other as they left to go to bed for the night and get ready for the first week back for the year in 4 days. Hagrid stayed behind with Harry and Dumbledore.

They went over anything Hagrid needed to know about caring for a child and helped start a roster on who looks after young Harry at times, and they went over what they need to get from diagon alley and what they need to do to Hagrids cottage like make an extra room which is nothing with magic and baby proofing the cottage.

It was late at night when they had finished and Hagrid went over and picked the small boy up into his big arms and held him safely in one arm as he walk the long halls of the school to get to his destination his small quiet humble cottage.
