Dark's POV

we started to walk back to Hagrid's hut. Day was petting Vortex. 

: Day ?"

Day: yes Dark"

: what did you say to Vortex?"

Day: I told her we won't  hurt her and she will be taken to Hogwarts, I never let a baby get hurt"

we made it to Hagrid's hut. Draco went  back to his house Ty and Emily ran over to us 

Emily: what the heck happened to you two!!??"

Day: sshhh"

Ty: why?"

Day pointed at Vortex who was sleeping in her arms, I lightly picked Vortex up and placed her in my arms. Emily hugged Day tightly. did Draco tell Emily about happened to Day?

Ty: where did you guys find this little one?"

: Day find her in a cage near a river "

Emily: wait what!?"

: yea and she was speaking to Vortex"

Hagrid: what all the talk of a dragon?"

I looked down at my arms and showed Hagrid my little Vortex. wait did I just say that?!

Hagrid: and who is this little one?"

: Vortex"

Hagrid: where did you guys found her at?"

I looked at Hagrid shocked, Day looked at Hagrid with the same look. 

Emily: wait Vortex is a girl?"

Hagrid: yep I can tell by her wings and the way she is laying Dark's arms"

Vortex woke up and got scared of Hagrid, she buried her face in my chest.

: it's ok Vortex, Hagrid won't hurt you.. he wants to help you"

Vortex looked at me and smiled.  my little Vortex

Hagrid: I've already talked with Headmaster Dumbledore just seeing if I can watch over different creatures besides fluffy and he said I could but I think this little one won't want to leave your side nor your girlfriends"

My whole face went blood red at his comment. Days, not my girlfriend even though I really want her to be I guess that's what I was feeling towards her earlier feelings for her.

: Hagrid Days not my girlfriend not yet"

I was lucky Day did not hear me, if Emily had me I would be dead well I kind of think she found out that I have feelings towards her cousin but I don't know if she would allow me to you know date her.

Hagrid: Oh I thought you two was dating Since You Been by her side ever since you arrived at Hogwarts"

: maybe in the future Hagrid right now we need to take care of Vortex"

Hagrid: let's go ahead and hand side my hut, and did I see Draco Malfoy at Hogwarts?".

Emily: I probably forgot to tell Headmaster Dumbledore this but my dad will be dropping by to check up on me and my cousin Day, plus he might be trying to get a job here".

We went inside Hagrid's Hut and I placed Vortex on the table Day still not looking good. I feel like there was more to her past and what I know.

: hey, Emily, can I talk to you in private?"

Emily: of course"

We stepped outside to the pumpkin patch that Hagrid had near his house.

Emily: what do you want to talk about?"

: your cousin Day, I know it's not my place to know about this I need to know what has been happening to her"

Emily: I'm just like you I don't know much about her passed either all I know is that I have not seen my cousin since she was little and when I did see her she had something wrapped around her hand I didn't know what it was at first but that I knew it was a wrap my mom is a doctor well kinda I should say".

: I just want to know how to help her I did offer her to stay with me and my family over the holidays"

Emily: thank you I might ask my dad to see if she and her mom can stay at my place doing the summer".

: if I may ask does your father have a dragon?".

Emily: he has one yes but he treats it very caring he's not like his twin brother Drake Malfoy".

So Draco Malfoy has a twin brother Drake Malfoy no wonder why they look so familiar but they're hair is different colors one is pure blonde the other is dirty blond.

Ty: hey guys Hagrid wants everybody in the hut"

We went back in and sat down at the table Vortex was laying there looking upset.

Hagrid: so there is some bad news and some good news the bad news is I cannot locate Vortexes family, the good news is she can bond with people to make a new family"

Emily: okay what does that have to do with all four of us?"

Hagrid: well I was wondering if you 4 four want to watch her"

Ty: Charlie my uncle would know how to take care of a dragon".

: Ty that's not what he means he means you need somebody close take care of her since Day they found her"

Day: I don't mind watching her I just might need some help doing it".

: I can help you I know some about dragons and we can always ask Hagrid for help"

Day hugged me, I hugged her back.

Ty: the last time you two hugs I got slapped across face!".

: that's because you pushed my buttons Weasley!".

And of course we got into a fight I was luckily I didn't have my wand or Ty would have been knocked out.

Day's POV

Ty and Dark got into a fight. I started to have flashbacks about my past when my mom and dad fight.

- flashback-

Young Day: please stop!"

Without any warning my dad smacked me across the face my mom just stood there and did nothing while he beat me of course it was nothing major it was just small cuts and bruises.

Drake: you are nothing but useless Malfoy who does angel want to be a Death Eater!"

His words hit me harder than what his actions did I didn't want to become a dictator neither did my grandma and I just found out now that my cousin didn't want to either I don't like being a Death theater that means I have to work to kill.

I tried grabbing my mother's wand but my father just grab a knife and threatened to cut my arms.

I could feel somebody hugging me I open my eyes and saw my cousin Emily hugging me.
