Lily Evans, surprisingly, was allergic to lilies. James presented a bunch of lilies to Lily one day, once again, asking her to go out with him. Lily's reaction resulted in an eye-wide face from James. She had sneezed three times in a row, and her nose began to look shiny red. She excused herself politely and quickly ran away, unlike the usual, throwing insults at James and walking away haughtily. Marlene McKinnon came over and told him that Lily was VERY allergic to lilies. Never again did he present her with lilies. Daisies next time, he thought.
